Dream – Isaiah 14
I awoke about 4AM on Friday
September 19, 2025 from a dream. My dream began with a conversation with my
wife, Charlene, who was reminding me that I was to give a very important
message when I came home from work.
Then I was at work in an office
building, It grew late and almost everyone had gone home, as I was leaving I
was called back by a supervisor (in my dream this was a real supervisor when I
worked for Kyocera Wireless) he was with three other men (one was a friend,
co-worker and Christian, Greg Florey). My supervisor told me they (the company)
needed me to make a public statement about what was happening in the world.
I told him I was supposed to go
home to give a message about this, but he insisted. I asked if they had an
outline yet and he said they did. I asked about including The Bible in the
message, not as a sermon but to emphasize the point of the message. He said yes
that would be good. As I was awakening I heard
Isaiah 14 so I got up and read it.
Isaiah 14 is about JEHOVAH GOD’s
Blessing on Israel as He brings them out of their seventy years of captivity
for their disobedience and rebellion (:1-2). It is about JEHOVAH GOD’s Judgment
on Babylon (:3-11), it is about JEHOVAH GOD’s Judgment on Lucifer (:12-21), it
is about the destruction of Babylon (:22-23), Assyria (Siria; :24-27) and
Philistia (Palestine; :28-31).
There is much imagery in Isaiah
14, it is important to read it slowly and ask The SPIRIT of JEHOVAH GOD to show
you what He wants you to learn!
“For JEHOVAH will have mercy on
Jacob (Israel) and will still choose Israel and settle them in their own Land.
The strangers will be joined with them and they will cling to the House of
Jacob. Then people will take them and bring them to their own place and The
House of Israel will Possess them for servants and maids in the Land of
JEHOVAH; they will take them captive whose captives they were and rule over
their oppressors. (While this is specifically about the time after Israel’s
seventy years of captivity it is also about today. Since Israel was restored as
a nation in 1948, they have been threatened and attacked about a dozen times
and they have won every fight and come out stronger each time.)
It shall come to pass in the day
JEHOVAH gives you rest from your sorrow and from your fear and the hard bondage
in which you were made to serve, that you will take up this proverb against the
king of Babylon, and say, ‘How the oppressor has ceased, the golden (insolent)
city ceased! JEHOVAH has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the
rulers; he who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he who ruled
the nations in anger, is persecuted and no one hinders. The whole earth
is at rest and quiet; they break forth into singing (both rejoicing and
worship of JEHOVAH GOD; Isaiah 55:12). Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over
you and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, “Since you were cut (have
lain) down no woodman has come up against us.” Hell from beneath is excited
about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you. All the
chief ones of the earth, it has raised up their thrones all the kings of the
nations. They all speak and say to you: ‘Have you also become as weak as we?
Have you become like us? Your pomp has been brought down to Sheol (hell), and
the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and
worms cover you.’” (All men fail in death; all men are judged rightly in death;
Hebrews 9 27; Revelation 20:11-15.)
“How you are fallen from Heaven, O
Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who
weakened the nations! (Ezekiel 28:11-15; Revelation 12:7-9) For you have said
in your heart: ‘I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the
stars of GOD, I will sit on the mount of the congregation (Zion) on the
farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I
will be like The Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the
lowest depths of the pit! Those who see you will gaze at you and
consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth
tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed
its cities, who did not open (would not release) the house of his
prisoners?’ All the kings of the nations, all of them sleep in glory, everyone
in his own house; but you are cast out of your grave like an abominable
(despised) branch, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust
(pierced) through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a
corpse trodden underfoot! You will be joined with them in burial because you
have destroyed your land and slain your people, the brood of evildoers
shall never be named. (In Revelation 2:17 those who overcome the devil will
receive a new Heavenly Name from JESUS, our True Name that JEHOVAH GOD gives us
when He writes out the days of our life before we are born [Psalm 139] and
enters it in The Lambs Book of Life; these who serve the devil will be nameless
in their eternal judgment.) Prepare slaughter for his children (Hebrews 9:27;
Revelation 19:17-21, 20:11-15) because of the iniquity of their fathers, less
they rise up and possess the land and fill the face of the earth with cities.”
“’For I will rise up against them,’
says JEHOVAH of Hosts ‘and cut off from
Babylon the name and remnant and offspring and posterity,’ says JEHOVAH. ‘I
will also make it a possession for the porcupine and marshes of muddy water; I
will sweep it with the broom of destruction.’ Says JEHOVAH of Hosts. JEHOVAH of
Hosts has sworn, saying, ‘Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass
and as I have purposed, so it shall stand: that I Will break the Assyrian in My
Land and on My Mountains tread him underfoot! Then his yoke shall be removed
from them and his burden removed from their shoulders. This is the
Purpose that is purposed against the whole earth, and this is the hand
that is stretched out over all the nations! For JEHOVAH of Hosts has Purposed
and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out and who will turn it
back?’”
“This is the burden that came in
the year that king Ahaz died (Again, yes this was about that time, but it is
also about today in Israel as they fight against the modern Philistines.). ‘Do
not rejoice all you of Philistia, because the rod that struck you is broken:
for out of the serpents roots will come forth a viper and its offspring will be
a fiery flying serpent (Revelation 12). The firstborn of the poor will feed,
and the needy will lie down in safety; I will kill your roots with famine and
it will slay your remnant. Wail, O gate! Cry O city! All you of Philistia are
dissolved (exist no more); for smoke will come from the north and no one will
be alone in his appointed times (Or
ranks). What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That JEHOVAH has
founded Zion (Jerusalem), and the poor of His People shall take refuge in it.’”
