To all my family and friends please take a few minutes to read this from my heart. GOD Loves You! And because of His love for you I am compelled to share this with you. As I was praying for y’all this morning I started thinking about you that do not really know and understand GOD and His purpose and plans. For some of you the hurts, rejections, and experiences of your life keep you from believing there is a true GOD that loves you and cares about your life. For some what you have learned from society and your life experiences have taught you that there is no GOD who loves you and cares about your life. For some all you have heard is that you are a sinner and that GOD hates sinners. None of these are true. I do not want to write a theological treatise I just want to tell you the truth about GOD and His Love for you. So please read this to the end, it takes only 4 or 5 minutes .

Sin is the most misunderstood theology of the Bible. The word sin is an old English archery term meaning to miss the mark. In modern theology we have made it an all encompassing term for evil and bad behavior and the reason that many people will go to hell. NOT ONE PERSON WILL GO TO HELL FOR SIN! Sin is the symptom of the real reason people will go to hell. So what is the real reason people will go to hell?

This is where I will try to be very simple and clear. The Bible is clear that The True and Living GOD is righteous and true in His nature and behavior and He wants us to live our life as close to that standard as we can. Every person that goes to hell will go there because they rejected GOD and His Salvation for humanity, not because of how they live their life. This is a very deep and sometimes complicated subject and I would rather talk about it to individuals or in small groups because the application is so personal.

I’m to the important part so don’t stop reading now. All I am saying is summed up in three verses of the Bible, one is the most famous and quoted in the world, John 3:16.

“For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of  GOD.” John 3:16-18 NKJV.

This is the evidence and proof that The True and Living GOD loves you just as you are, sin and all, and that He has a plan for your life. Since He has a plan for your life the Bible teaches us that He will work in your life and circumstances to bring your reality into His plan. To start this process just call out to Him, admit that you are have fallen short and cannot change your life or you would have already. Ask Him to forgive you and save you by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus who is GOD’s only begotten Son and to fill you with His Spirit. This is the first step of the process of salvation.

Again trying to avoid a deep theological discussion, salvation is not about going to Heaven when we die. It is about growing in Christ by His Spirit through the difficult and sometimes painful events of life; into the fullness of His calling for our life so that we are prepared for His eternal Kingdom and what He has called us to do in it.
