Memorial Day
Today in America we celebrate Memorial Day, we gather as family, friends and comrades in arms to remember and celebrate those of us who gave their all. Some died in combat, some died as prisoners, some died in accidents and some died in training. Yet they all had the same goal whether they volunteered or were drafted; to defend our Country, Constitution and families. Most have died in foreign lands!
In the last few decades we have included those who serve at home Reservists, National Guard, Law-enforcement and First Responders in every type of emergency, these also sometimes give their life to protect the citizens of America.
This is a solemn occasion of remembrance and a celebration of their lives. So we pay our respects, pray for their families and enjoy time with our family and friends.
Yet, everyday we should consciously remember The One Who came from Heaven and died in our place so that we might have eternal Life in GOD’s presence. We should remind others of His sacrifice through obedience and the gift of salvation that His sacrifice allows us to receive.
JESUS CHRIST paid the ultimate price for every human being who is alive, who ever lived or will ever live. We should never take that for granted!
Seek GOD First!
GOD Bless, Bob & Charlene
