Fear Not!

 

Proverbs 3:25-26, “Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; for The LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.”

 

Psalm 91:1-6, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the Shadow of The ALMIGHTY. I will say of The LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my GOD, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His Feathers, and under His Wings you shall take Refuge; His Truth shall be your Shield and Buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”

 

Luke 12:4-5, “And I say to you My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you Whom you should fear: fear Him Who, after He has killed, has the Power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!”

 

John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have Peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of Good Cheer, I have Overcome the world.”

 

2 Timothy 1:7, “GOD has not given us a spirit of fear, but of Power and of Love and of a Sound Mind.”

 

No matter how bad life is, no matter how bad things in the world are we are commanded not to fear but to wait and trust on The LORD our GOD. We should be looking forward for The City not built with hands, anticipating the joys of Eternal Salvation in the New Jerusalem!
