“The oracle that Habakkuk the prophet saw.

How long, ADONAI, have I cried for help, yet You do not hear?

I cry out to You – ‘Violence!’ yet you do not deliver.

Why do you show me wickedness, and why must I behold mischief?

Yes, devastation and violence are before me.

There is strife, and contention arises.

Therefore, Torah has no effect, and justice never goes forth.

For the wicked encircle the righteous, therefore justice comes out perverted.”

Habakkuk 1:1-4 TLV (Job 21)

 

“For the wrath of GOD is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. In unrighteousness they suppress the Truth, because what can be known about GOD is plain to them – for GOD has shown it to them. His invisible attributes – His eternal Power and His divine Nature – have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood by the things that have been made. So people are without excuse – for even though they knew GOD, they did not glorify Him as GOD or give Him thanks. Instead, their thinking became futile, and their senseless hearts were made dark.” Romans 1:18-21 TLV

 

“So I tell you this, indeed I insist on it in The LORD – walk no longer as the pagans do, stumbling around in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of GOD because of the ignorance in them due to the hardness of their heart. Since they are past feeling, they have turned themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of immorality, with greed for more.” Ephesians 5:17-19 TLV

 

This is why laws do not prevent crime! Laws do not change behavior or desires! Only The Gospel can and only if it is shared! “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the Power of GOD for salvation to everyone who trusts – to the Jew first and also to the Gentile. In it the Righteousness of GOD is revealed, from trust to trust. As it is written, ‘But the righteous shall live by faith…But the righteousness based on faith speaks in this way” ‘Do not say in your heart, “Who will go up into Heaven?” (that is, to bring Messiah down), or, “Who will go down into the abyss?” (that is, to being Messiah up from the dead).’ But what does it say? ‘The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart,’ – that is, the Word of faith that we are proclaiming: ‘For if you confess with your mouth that YESHUA is LORD, and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart it is believed for righteousness, and with the mouth it is confessed for salvation.’…For ‘Everyone who calls on The Name of ADONAI shall be saved.’ How then shall they call on The One in whom they have trusted? And how shall they trust in the One they have not heard of? And how shall they hear without someone proclaiming?... ” Romans 1:16-17; 10:6-18 TLV

 

That is why today all Christians should be evangelizing and discipleing everywhere at all times. It is not about making our life better; it is about seeing as many people saved from eternal damnation as possible.

 

LORD JESUS, forgive me for my years of selfish “Christian” living, use me as your servant of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
