Beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He (JESUS) expounded  to them in all The Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Luke 24:27

 

“I Will put enmity between you (satan) and the woman, and between your seed (those who reject GOD, Revelation 13:8) and her seed (JESUS CHRIST); He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel”. Genesis 3:15

 

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace…Of the increase of His government and Peace there shall be no end…For the zeal of JEHOVAH of Hosts will perform this”. Isaiah 9:6-7

 

“Who has believed our report?”...He has no stately form or splendor…He is despised…a Man of sorrows…we did not esteem Him…Surely He has borne our sicknesses…and by His stripes we are healed…because He was numbered with the transgressors and He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors. The book of genealogy of JESUS CHRIST, the son of David, the son of Abraham…And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born JESUS Who is called CHRIST. Matthew 1:1-16

 

Now the birth of JESUS CHRIST was as follows; after His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with Child of The HOLY SPIRT…(Joseph) did not know her (no sex) till she had brought forth her Firstborn Son; and he called His Name JESUS. Matthew 1:18-25

 

In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with GOD and The WORD was GOD…And The Light Shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it…The next day John (The Baptist) saw JESUS coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of GOD Who takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:1-5, 29

 

JESUS bearing His cross went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which in Hebrew is called Golgotha, where they crucified Him and two others with Him, one on either side, and JESUS in the center. John 19:17-18

 

So when JESUS had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” and bowing His head He gave up His SPIRIT. John 19:30

 

Now after the sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary (JESUS’ mother) came to see the tomb…But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek JESUS Who was crucified. He is not here for He is risen as He said. Come, see the place where The LORD lay.” Matthew 28:1-6

 

JESUS said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons which The father has put in His own authority. But you shall received Power when The HOLY SPIRIT has come upon you”…While they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold two men stood beside them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same JESUS Who was taken up from you into Heaven will come in like manner as you saw Him go.” Acts 1:7-11

 

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things…but with the Precious Blood of CHRIST, as of The Lamb, without blemish and without spot. He (JESUS) indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you… 1 Peter 1:16-21

 

I saw thrones and they sat on them and judgment was committed to them… and they lived and reigned with CHRIST for a thousand years…and anyone not found written in The book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:4, 15

 

Then, I John, saw The Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from GOD, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband…But I saw no Temple in it for JEHOVAH  ELOHIM El Shaddai and The LAMB are its Temple. Revelation 21:1-2, 22

 

He (tha angel) said to me (John), “Do not seal The Words of The Prophecy of The Book, for the time is at hand.”…He Who Testifies to these things says, “Surely I Am coming quickly.”  Amen. Even so, come LORD JESUS! The Grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:10, 20-21

Revelation Chapter 19

 

Revelation Chapter 19

 

Introduction:

Chapter 11:1-14 and chapter 13 cover the last three and a half years of the great tribulation. The seventh trumpet sounded in chapter 11:15-19; The Church was raptured in chapter 14:14-16 and the vine of the earth was harvested in chapter 14:17-20; Chapter 15 is Heavenly worship of GOD. Chapter 16 is the seven bowls of GOD’s wrath poured out on the nations of the earth. Chapters 17:1-19:4 are about the judgment of the great harlot Babylon. Chapter 19:5-21 is the announcement of the Marriage of the LAMB, the revelation to the world of JESUS CHRIST as The LORD of Lords and KING of Kings; and the battle of Armageddon. The events of Revelation 16:17-19:21 may be consecutive or they may all be happening at the same time. The one thing for sure is that all of the earth is going to see and hear what is happening in real time!

 

:1-4 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and Glory and Honor and Power belong to The LORD our GOD! For True and Righteous are His Judgments, because He has Judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His Servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped GOD Who sat on The Throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia! (Deuteronomy 32:39-43; Psalm 21:8-13; Isaiah 34:8-10)

 

:5-9 Then a voice came from The Throne, saying, “Praise our GOD all you his Servants and those who Fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For The LORD GOD Omnipotent Reigns! Let us be Glad and Rejoice and give Him Glory, for the Marriage of The Lamb* has come and His Wife** has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in pure linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the Righteous acts of the Saints. Then he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are called to the Marriage Supper of the LAMB!” And he said to me, “These are the True Sayings of GOD.”

 

:10 I fell at his feet to worship him; but he said to me: “See (that you do not do that!) I am your fellow servant and of your brethren who have the Testimony of JESUS. Worship GOD! For the Testimony of JESUS is The SPIRIT of Prophesy.”***

 

:11-13 Now I saw Heaven opened, behold a white horse and He Who sat on him was called, Faithful and True (John 14:6; Revelation 3:14; ) and in Righteousness He Judges (Isaiah 11:1-5) and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire and on His head were many crowns (He Rules all of The Heavens and the earth and the seas). He had a Name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood (Isaiah 63:1-4) and His Name is Called The Word of GOD (John 1:1-2, 14).

 

:14 The armies in Heaven clothed in fine linen, pure white and clean, (Mark 9:1-3; Matthew 28:1-3) followed Him on white horses.

 

:15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp two-edged sword (Isaiah 11:4; Hebrews 4:12-13), that with it He should strike the nations. He Himself will Rule them with a rod of Iron (Psalm 2:8-9; Revelation 20:4-6). He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty GOD (Isaiah 63:1-6; Revelation 14:17-20).

 

:16 He has on His robe and on His thigh a Name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” (1 Timothy 6:11-16; Revelation 16:12-16).

 

:17-18 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of The Great GOD, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and those who sit on them and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great (Ezekeil 39:17-20).”

 

:19-21 I saw the beast, the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him Who sat on the horse and against His Army (Revelation 16:12-16). Then the anti-christ was captured and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were cast into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone (Luke 12:4-5; Matthew 25:41). And the rest were killed with The Sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him Who sat on the horse, all the birds were filled with their flesh (Revelation 14:9-11).

Revelation Chapter 18

 

Introduction:

 

The seventh trumpet sounded in chapter 11:15-19; chapter 11:1-14 and chapter 13 cover the last three and a half years of the great tribulation; The Church was raptured in chapter 14:14-16 and the vine of the earth was harvested in chapter 14:17-20; Chapter 16 is the seven bowls of GOD’s wrath poured out on the nations of the earth. Revelation chapters 17:1-19:4 are about the fall of the great harlot Babylon. Chapter 18 is a continuing description of Babylon’s fall before the world as part of the seventh bowl of GOD’s Wrath that is poured out on the nations of the earth.

 

Revelation 14:8 One of three angelic proclamations made after the sounding of the seventh trumpet and just before the rapture of The church and the harvest of the nations. “Another angel followed saying, ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.’”

Revelation 17:6 What John said when he saw the great harlot Babylon. “I saw the woman drunk with the blood of The Saints and with the blood of The Martyrs of JESUS; when I saw her I marveled with great amazement.”

 

:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from Heaven having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. (In our study of Revelation we have seen that stars are angels like our sun; GOD created light before He created the sun, moon and stars; this angel is reflecting the Glory of GOD as all Christians are supposed to be doing. Matthew 5:14-16)*

 

:2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen and has become a dwelling place for demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! (Is this before, during or after the judgment of Babylon? I believe it is before and during.)

 

:3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance (Lit. strengths) of her luxury.”

 

:4-8 And I heard another voice from Heaven saying, “Come out of her My people, lest you share in her sins and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to Heaven and GOD has remembered her iniquities (Revelation 16:19). Render to her just as she rendered to you and repay her double according to her works; in the cup she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously (sensually – any and every pleasure), in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen and am no widow and will not see sorrow (Ezekiel 28:2-8). Therefore her plagues will come in one day–death and mourning and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire (Revelation 17:16), for strong is The LORD GOD Who Judges her (Jeremiah 50:33-34 – both naturally and spiritually).”**

 

:9-10 The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning (Revelation 17:16, 19:3), standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, “Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come (Ezekiel 26:16 – this is about Tyre another city-kingdom like Nineveh and Babylon).”

 

:11-13 The merchants of the world will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore; merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots and bodies and souls of men (Ezekiel 27:12-13). The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all things that are rich and splendid have been lost to you and you shall find them no more at all.”

 

:15-17a The merchants of these things who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, “Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.”

 

:17b-19 Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried our when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, “What is like this great city?” They threw dust on their heads and cried out weeping and wailing, and saying, “Alas, alas, that great city in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she has been laid waste (Ezekiel 27:25-28).”

 

:20 “Rejoice over her, O Heavens and you saints, apostles and prophets, for GOD has avenged you one her (Jeremiah 51:48)!”

 

:21-24 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. The sound of harpists, musicians, flutist and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of the millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore! For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. In her was found the blood of prophets and saints and of all who were slain on the earth.”

 

*Revelation 1:20 “The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven Churches and the seven lampstands you saw are the seven Churches.” The stars like our sun shines in all directions at once, but their light does not wrap around objects. This angel is lighting up the whole earth at once with the Glory of GOD.

 

** As you read through Isaiah all of these spiritual judgments against Babylon the great harlot (one world government) happened to the natural Babylon of Chaldea; Isaiah 13:19-21; 14:23; 21:9; 34:11-15; 47:15; 48:20 are a few.

The Search For GOD!

 

The Search For GOD!

 

There are lots of teachings on seeking and searching for GOD because there are lots of Scriptures on seeking and searching for GOD (Father, Son, Spirit), His Word, His Kingdom, His Will and Purpose for His Church and His Children (His Children make up His Church and He has a Will and Purpose for His Church and each of His Children). So we are going to look at some of The Scriptures that tell us to Seek and Search for Him. At the end of this study is a list of the 19 Old Testament and 8 New Testament words for seek and search that are found in The King James Version of The Bible (that is because I only have a Strong’s Concordance for the King James Version). You can look up these verses in different versions of The Bible and see other words that should mean the same thing.

 

All this is about the fact that GOD has sought us from the beginning, Genesis 3:8-11.

GOD has advised us to seek Him, Isaiah 55:6; Matthew 6:33.

The reality is that most of us became a Christian because GOD sought (pursued) us until we came to the place that we saw His Love and our need. Very few people have become a Christian because they were searching for GOD.

 

In the late sixties and early seventies there was the JESUS movement, it was all about the Great Commission, sharing (preaching) The Gospel, baptizing people and discipling them. In the late seventies and early eighties there was the One Way (G) JESUS is The Way, John 14:6, primary emphasis was personal evangelism. Then there was the “I Found It” movement which was about personal testimony evangelism. Since then it has been big meeting evangelism and telling new converts to find a Bible Believing Church. All of these were about taking The Gospel to people who were not necessarily looking for GOD or JESUS. The JESUS Movement was the only one that overall was the complete package.

 

When I became a Christian  in December of 1974 I was not searching for GOD, on the contrary I had avoided JESUS Freaks. One day for no reason that I can understand even 50 years later, I decided to go to a Church where my aunt went. GOD showed me that I belonged there, then I began to understand that I was a sinner and that GOD wanted me to be saved from sin and death because He had a plan for my life. So I was baptized, then baptized in GOD’s SPIRIT (The HOLY SPIRIT), then nine months after I became a Christian I started Bible College.

 

Lee Strobel, a prominent Bible teacher was once a proclaimed atheist, he was not searching for GOD, he decided to prove The Bible was false and that GOD did not exist. After 2 years of research he knew that GOD existed and that The Bible was real.

 

Some search through every type of religion and spiritual teaching to find GOD because they reject Christianity. But if their heart is true in seeking The One True GOD He will reveal Himself.

 

Some people come to GOD at the most desperate time in their life, they are so desperate that they just call out to Him something like this, “GOD if You are real, help me!” They are not even sure there is a GOD or that He cares but they need something that they themselves and no one else can do, so they hope beyond faith and GOD hears and responds.

 

The above examples are proof that every person is born with a need to know GOD and that GOD so Loves us that He makes it almost impossible for us to not find Him.

 

Isaiah 65 is about GOD seeking us :1-5, we reject Him :6-12, there is Judgment :13-15, there should be Repentance that leads to Salvation :16, then eternal life :17-25.

 

Numbers 15:37-40 GOD gives us reminders to not forget Him but to keep seeking Him.

Isaiah 55:6-13 GOD tells us to seek Him while He can be found (that means there is a time when we cannot find GOD (Proverbs 1:20-33), He reminds us that we are not like Him, that His Word is True and His Will, will be accomplished, and all creation rejoices with us in Salvation (Romans 8:18-23).

 

Matthew 3:1-12 John The Baptist told us to repent of our sins and live for GOD for there is eternal judgment.

 

Matthew 6:25-34 JESUS tells us to seek GOD’s Kingdom (therefore GOD) and His Righteousness (how He wants us to live) before the things of this life.

 

Mark 16:14-18 JESUS told us to tell everyone about His Salvation and to disciple them into His Kingdom. Why should we tell everyone, because they are not seeking GOD, GOD is seeking them.

 

JESUS told us to pray, “Our Father in Heaven, Holy is Your Name (JEHOAVH), Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in the earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:9-10). The point of The Gospel in not going to Heaven, it is to tell those who do not know and believe in GOD that He Loves them and has a plan for their life. When they believe The Gospel Message then we must get them baptized into JESUS (The Father,  The Son, and The HOLY SPIRIT) and disciple them into His Kingdom on the earth Mark 16:14-16); so that when we get to Heaven we will be ready to serve GOD’s Eternal Purpose (whatever that is, Revelation 21-22).

Baptism In The HOLY SPIRIT!

 

Have you ever thought about when JESUS came out of the water of baptism that The HOLY SPIRIT came from Heaven as a dove but when the apostles were baptized with The HOLY SPIRIT on the day of Shavuot (Pentecost) He came out of Heaven as a mighty wind and cloves (tongues) of fire? Also those are the only two times that The HOLY SPIRIT was physically (visibly) manifest, in all the other recorded events where The HOLY SPIRIT was manifest at baptism, it was known because people started speaking in other tongues. To me the difference of a dove and cloves of fire is not that He came to more than one, He could have come as many doves to the apostles.

 

The difference is that JESUS CHRIST The Son of GOD was fully aware of and ready for His public revealing. JESUS was fully man and fully GOD, He was prepared to enter into His Obedience to His Father. JESUS’ first step of Obedience was to be baptized by John, John baptized the people in a baptism of repentance (turning away from sin to obey GOD), but JESUS had no sin to repent of and the Father (JEHOVAH EL Shaddai) proved it when He said, “You are My Beloved Son in You I am well pleased!” when JESUS rose from the water of baptism. JESUS had not yet entered into His Ministry of proclaiming Salvation, after He was baptized He went into the wilderness for 40 days of fasting and being tempted by the devil, in Mark’s account it says JESUS was driven by The HOLY SPIRIT into the wilderness. After than John recognized JESUS as “The Lamb of GOD Who takes away the sin of the world.”

 

For the apostles, even after being with JESUS  for over a year they did not understand what was happening. After JESUS’ crucifixion and resurrection they still did not fully understand what was happening and what JESUS expected of them. They were with Him over a year and after His resurrection they had seen him several times over 40 day, yet they asked JESUS on the day of His Ascension if He was going to set up his Kingdom in Jerusalem at that time (they were expecting Him to kick out the Romans). JESUS told them it was not for them to know the times or the seasons and to wait in Jerusalem to receive power. So The HOLY SPIRIT came as a mighty wind to blow away their doubt and fear, He came as cloves of fire to purge their understanding of the old and refine the Truth they had. The apostles, like us needed to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so they could become whom GOD had called them to be; just as GOD does in us when we are Born Again and Baptized in His SPIRIT.

Introduction:

Chapter 17:1-19:4 is about the Great Harlot Babylon, and the scarlet beast (anti-christ). Her judgment and those of the world who serve and worship her. This is part of the seventh bowl of GOD’s wrath.

Revelation 14:8 And another angel followed saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

:1-2 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot (Nahum 3:1-7*; Revelation 16:19**) who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

:3a So he carried me away in The SPIRIT into the wilderness (Revelation 12:6, 14, where is this wilderness? It seems to be a celestial wilderness***).

:3b-5 I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast (devil Revelation 12:3; anti-christ 13:1-2) full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls (Revelation 18:16 ); having in her hand a golden cup full of abomination and the filthiness of her fornication (Jeremiah 51:7). On her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

:6 I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the Saints and with the blood of the Martyrs of JESUS (Revelation 6:9-10); when I saw her I marveled with great amazement.

:7-8 The angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was and is not and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition (destruction); and those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in The Book of Life from the foundation of the world,**** when they see the beast (anti-christ) that was, and is not, and yet is (Revelation 17:11).*****

:9-11 Here is the mind that  has Wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.****** There are also seven kings; five have fallen, one is and the other (the anti-christ) has not yet come (for us that is six have fallen and one is yet to come) When he comes he must continue a short time (three and one half years) The beast that was and is not is himself also the eighth and is of the seven (the anti-christ will have been part of the ruling coalition of seven nations, but having been by appearance killed he is now the eighth who rules them all) and is going to perdition (Revelation 13:2-3).

:12-14 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the anti-christ. These are of one mind and they will give their power and authority to the anti-christ. These will make war with The Lamb and The Lamb will overcome them (Revelation 19:17-21), for He Is LORD of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called Chosen and Faithful.

:15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues (Revelation 17:18).

:16-17 The ten horns which you saw on the anti-christ, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For GOD has put it into their hearts to fulfill His Purpose, to be of one mind and to give their kingdom to the anti-christ until the Words of GOD are Fulfilled (GOD uses whoever He wants to accomplish His Will! (Exodus 9:13-16; 1 Kings 22:19-23).

:18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth (Revelation 11:8, 16:19).******

**** I believe that when we are conceived and GOD makes us a living spirit (Genesis 2:7), He writes out the days of our life before they exist – His plan for our life (Psalm 139:13-18) and our name (the one He knows us by (Revelation 2:17) is written in The Lambs Book of Life.

 

***** “when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” This is not an eternal being in the sense of JESUS “Who is (always existed), and Who was (The Son of Man) and Who is to come (to reign over the nations)” The anti-christ will be a human who rises to be part of the world ruling government (he was), then he will appear to be killed (he is not) but he recovers (and yet he is) to become the one world ruler.

 

****** Many think that Babylon could be Rome because of the seven hills; many believe it is New York City or Hong Kong or some other great seaport, but in our study of the Bible we have seen that waters can represent peoples and nations. I believe as the Scriptures say that in the great tribulation Jerusalem will be the center of the world and the home of the one world government (Revelation 11:8, 16:19) remember during the great tribulation, though it will be worldwide it will be focused in Jerusalem.
