On The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST
My first
theory about JESUS’ revelation is that not all of the Seals and none of the
Trumpets have happened yet. The first four Seals have been opened and they have
been taking place since CHRIST’s ascension to The Father’s Right Hand. The
fifth, sixth and seventh Seals I believe will be opened just before the First
Trumpet sounds.
I believe
that the fifth Seal through the sixth Trumpet will take place during the last
three and a half years of the Great Tribulation which will come to an end when
the two Witnesses in Jerusalem are raised from death and ascent to Heaven; that
event will be the first event of the seventh Trumpet.
The fifth
Seal and the fifth Trumpet are the only judgments that have time associated
with them. When the fifth Seal is opened the martyrs are told to “rest a little
while longer, until the number of your fellow servants and brethren, who will
be killed as you were is complete.” this time period lasts until the seventh
Trumpet sounds. The fifth Trumpet releases from the bottomless pit the locusts
that have the power of scorpions, they are released for five months, but they
cannot kill people only torment them; that is the first Woe.
The seventh
Trumpet sounds and the two Witnesses in Jerusalem come alive and ascend to
Heaven. “Then the Temple of GOD is
opened in Heaven and the Ark of His Covenant is seen in His Temple.” The seven
last plagues, or bowl judgments are released on the earth and Babylon the Great
– the Mother of Harlots and of the abominations of the earth is judged before
the whole world. Then CHRIST rides forth on a white horse leading Heaven’s Army
to the Battle of Armageddon where He has the anti-christ and the false prophet
cast into the Lake of Fire; He has the devil chained and thrown into the bottomless
pit for a thousand years. Then He kills all of the human army that came against
Him with the anti-christ.
Remember all
of the Seal, Trumpet and Bowl events are happening to the whole world at the same
time. But the events of the Last Day when the seventh Trumpet sounds the whole
world will see these events as if they are in Jerusalem when they happen as
they happen.
I do not believe
that the events of The Revelation of JESUS happen in the order that John saw
them and wrote them. Chapter twelve about the birth of The Messiah, the devils
rebellion and being cast from Heaven and the persecution of the Church do not
happen after chapter six where The Lamb who was slain opens the Seals of the
Scroll.
Two events
from chapter fourteen the reaping of the earth’s harvest and the reaping of the
earth’s vines, I believe do not happen where they are placed in the narrative. CHRIST,
seated on a cloud with a sharp sickle reaps the ripe harvest of the earth. An
angel with a sharp sickle comes from the Temple and reaps the clusters of the
earth’s vines which are thrown into the winepress of GOD’s wrath and blood
comes forth as it is pressed. The first, I believe happens on the Last Day, it
is what we call the rapture (yes I believe the rapture does not happen until
the Last Trumpet sounds).The second event sounds like the Final Judgment in
20:7-15, after fire comes from Heaven and destroys the army of the devil and the
devil is cast into the Lake of Fire, all the dead are raised for judgment, so I
believe all the non-Christian people left alive are reaped for their judgment
along with those who are already dead.
I believe
that during the thousand year reign of CHRIST from Jerusalem there will be non-Christians
living on the earth. How else will the devil be able to raise a massive army
after he is released from his imprisonment for an unknown period of time?
Knowing The Signs of Our Time
JESUS
chastened the religious leaders in His day for not knowing the signs of the
times, “Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, ‘Teacher, we
want to see a sign from You.’ But He answered and said to them, ‘An evil and
adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except
the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of
the great fish, so will The Son of Man be three days and three nights in the
heart of the earth.’” Matthew 12:38-40 “Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came,
and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from Heaven. He answered
and said to them, ‘When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for
the sky is red”; and in the morning, “It will foul weather today, for the sky
is red and threatening.” Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the
sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous
generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given unto it except the
sign of the Prophet Jonah.’ And He left them and departed.” Matthew 16:1-5
He also told
the disciples that they would not know the specific time of His return, “Immediately
after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will
not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the Powers of the
Heavens will be shaken Then the Sign of The Son of Man will appear in heaven,
and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of
Man coming on the clouds of heaven with Power and great Glory. And He will send
His angels with a great sound of a Trumpet, and they will gather together His
Elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn this
parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts
forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these
things, know that it is near–at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this
generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away. But of that
day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, but My Father only.
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of The Son of Man be.”
Matthew 24:29-37 (study the whole passage of 24:13-44). “Therefore when they
had come together, they asked Him, saying, ‘LORD, will You at this time restore
the Kingdom to Israel?’ And He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times
or seasons which The Father has put in His Own Authority.’” Acts 1:6-7 “But
concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should
write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that The Day of The LORD so
comes as a thief in the night.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 (study 4:13-5:11).
So JESUS and
Paul taught that no one would know the times or seasons for The Last Day – the return
of CHRIST except The Father in Heaven. But they also taught that we should know
the signs of the times in which we live.
In that vain
many Christians today believe we are in the last days before the rise of the
anti-christ and the beginning of the Great Tribulation. (I hope that is true) My
theory is that we have about 212 years or there about, till that happens. By
the Hebrew calendar this is the year 5781, which means that we are three
quarters of the way through the 6th millennium; so there are 219
more years until we start the 7th millennium. Here is my reasoning; with The LORD a day is
as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day (Psalm 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8);
so we are in the 6th day of mankind’s rule over the earth. That
means in 219 years or so, we will enter into the millennium of eternal rest,
the 7th day. So the anti-christ should come to power in 5993 or
there about. That will be 2233 and 2240 or there about by our calendar.
Just a side
note, the number of the anti-christ is 666 – man was created on the 6th
day of creation, man was redeemed on the 6th day of the week, and
the anti-christ (a man) comes to power in the 6th millennium of
mankind’s rule over the earth; just a thought.
