JESUS is The Covenants and The Law and He fulfilled them at the cross!

After this, JESUS, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that The Scripture might be fulfilled, said, ‘I thirst!’…So when JESUS had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’” John 19:28-30

“And when JESUS had cried out with a loud voice, He said, ‘Father into your hands I commit My Spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last.” Luke 23:46

 

JESUS expects us to keep His fulfilled Covenants, Law and Commandments, He told us so!

“Then JESUS said to those Jews who believed in him, ‘If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the Truth and The Truth shall make you Free.’” John 8:31-32

The Name of Jesus Christ "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24" The disciples of Jesus Christ were exhorted by Jesus to use His name. Why did He tell them to use His name? Jesus Christ would soon leave the earth; therefore, He had to ensure that the disciples experienced the value of His name. His name has answers to questions; His name has power to give what they asked for; His name has power to make them joyful. Their responsibility was to ask whatever they needed by faith using His name. Precious one, do you know the value of the name of Jesus Christ? Do you use it? Use it as much as you can to receive answers from God to make your joy completed. Praise the LORD!

Isaiah 58 With Commentary

 

“Cry aloud, do not hold back!

Raise your voice like a shofar.

Tell My People their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”

GOD commands Isaiah to call Israel to repent, He has done this throughout the history of the world. Before the flood, before the Covenant with Abraham, before Israel was a nation, before Israel went into 70 years of captivity, before JESUS started His earthly Ministry, before every major event in modern history. But like the people of pre-flood history, like the Children of Israel throughout history and like the people of all eras we (for the most part) do not listen to GOD’s call to repentance, Joel 2:12-17.

 

“Yet they seek Me day to day and delight to know My ways, as if they were a nation that did right, and had not forsaken their God’s decree. They ask Me for Righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of GOD.”

Humanity has always sought their own will while trying to appease GOD and even false gods with outward obedience, (Malachi 3:1, 8-10). JESUS called those of His day “whitewashed tombs” Matthew 23 [:27-28]; Deuteronomy 25:1-3; Acts 23:1-3.

 

“Why have we fasted, yet You do not see?

Why have we afflicted our souls, yet You take no notice?”

GOD has heard this type of questioning since He gave us life (even I have asked this) Zechariah 7:1-7; Matthew 6:16-18.

 

“Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure and exploit all your laborers.

Behold, you fast for strife and contention and to strike with a wicked fist.

You should not fast as you do today to make your voice heard on high.

Is this the fast I have chosen?

A day for one to afflict his soul?

Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and spreading out sackcloth and ashes?

Will you call this a fast and a day acceptable to ADONAI?”

GOD answers our question and shows our heart! 1 Kings 21:1-16 [9-10]; Luke 18:9-14; Acts 6:8-7:60 [6:8-15, 7:54-60] When David repented and fasted of his sin with Uriah and Bathsheba praying and fasting with great sorrow was correct; during the reign of Hezakiah when Jerusalem Israel and Jerusalem was under immediate threat of being conquered, the whole populace praying and fasting was correct. But most of the time we pray and fast today it is not for GOD’s Will but for our own desire, even if it is ministry related, James 1:26-27.

 

“Is this not the fast I choose:

To release the bonds of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and tear off every yoke?

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the homeless poor into your house?

When you see the naked, to cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh and blood?”

This is what JESUS taught: Matthew 11:28-30, 25:31-46; Luke 4:18-19, 18:18-23.

 

“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will spring up speedily.

Your righteousness will go before you, the Glory of ADONAI as your rear guard.

Then you will call, and ADONAI will answer.

You will cry and He will say, ‘Hear I AM.’

If you get rid of the yoke among you – finger-pointing and badmouthing – if you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness, and your gloom will be like midday.”

Repent! Isaiah 55:6-7; 60; Matthew 6:22-23, 33-34; Luke 3:1-14, 18:18-23; John 5:1-15 [14], 8:1-12 [11]; 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.

 

“Then ADONAI will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones.

You will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters never fail.”

Who would not want their life to be drought proof? Psalm 1; Proverbs 3:1-6; Matthew 6:33-34; John 7:37-39; 1 John 5:7-8.

 

“Some of you will rebuild the ancient ruins, will raise up the age old foundation, will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Street for Dwelling.”

While this was spoken to the generation of Hebrews who would rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple after their exile, it also speaks to the Modern Church, about the society where we live and the many needed repairs of integrity, morality and righteousness that must be built on the Foundation of the Chief Corner Stone, JESUS CHRIST! Psalm 118:22-24; Isaiah 28:16-17; Luke 20:17-18; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 2:19-22; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 2:1-12.

 

“If you turn back your foot from Shabbat, from doing your pleasure on My Holy Day, and call Shabbat a delight, The Holy Day of ADONAI honorable, if you honor it, not going your own ways, not seeking your own pleasure, nor speaking your usual speech, then you will delight yourself in ADONAI, and I will let you ride over the heights of the earth, I will feed you with the heritage of your father Jacob.”

The nation of Israel was sent into 70 years of exile for not honoring (they ignored it) the Sabbath for 490 years, one year for every Sabbath. In JESUS’ day Israel had made it impossible to keep the Sabbath with their traditions, Exodus 20:8, 31:13; Jeremiah 25:1-14 [11-12]; Daniel 9:24; Mark 2:23-3:6 [2:27-28]. JESUS fulfilled The Law, that included The Sabbath, but we still have to keep The Ten Commandments. There is no place in The Scriptures that tells us that we do not have to keep any of The Commandments! In fact throughout the New Testament we are told to obey all of the 50 commandments that JESUS gave us [for more on that you can see my paper and video on The Will Of GOD Is Our Purpose]. When we are seeking GOD’s Kingdom and His Righteousness then we will have Peace and Joy no matter our situation, Matthew 5-7.

 

“For the mouth of ADONAI has spoken.”

This is the greatest guarantee that GOD’s Will, will be done! Hebrews 6:13-18.

Election Dream 3-21-2024

 

Early this morning I awoke from a dream that I remembered I had a couple of years ago, I do not remember the year, but it was within the last four years.

 

Both times I have had this dream it ended without a conclusive result, the first time it did not mean anything to me, this time it did, but my understanding is in the general sense not what its actual meaning may be.

 

In my dreams there were three candidates running for a major office, one was represented by the color yellow, one by the color white and one with no color. The white and no color candidates were the two major parties and the yellow candidate was an independent candidate.

 

In my dreams I do not remember what the party platforms of the candidates were.

 

Just before the election it was revealed that the yellow candidate was a member of the white party and that they were actually running two candidates to increase their chances of winning.

 

There was general outrage with the public over the deception. But again, my dreams ended before the actual election.

 

My understanding based on today’s political situation.

 

The situation for the Presidential election being held this November fits these dreams in two possible ways.

First: The Democrats have two electable candidates running, Joe Biden, the current President running for reelection and Robert Kennedy Jr., running originally as a Democrat but expelled by his party and now running as a conservative Independent.

Second: The Republicans have two electable candidates running, Donald Trump, the former President and Nicki Haley whose main support and votes come from Liberals not Conservatives.

 

It seems to me that the Democrats are possibly running two dark horse candidates, Robert Kennedy Jr. and Nicki Haley hoping to spoil President Trump’s chances of winning reelection.

 

The even darker scenario is that the leftist elitists have more sinister plans, I have no actual information or evidence, but I believe these two scenarios are very possible.

First: That the leftist elitists are telling Robert Kenny Jr. to hang in there, that by the time of the convention or just before the election Biden will not be the candidate and he, Robert Kennedy Jr. will become the Democrat candidate for President with the full party’s support.

Second: That the leftist elitists are telling Nicki Haley to hang in there and that just before the election Donald Trump will no longer be the Republican candidate and with their, the leftist elitists, and the RINO’s support she will be the Republican candidate for President.

Conclusion: That either or both scenarios will give the leftist elitists the White House for four more years.

 

My thoughts:

In 1976 I voted for the first time, as a young Christian in Bible college there was a lot of excitement about the Democrat candidate, Baptist Minister, Georgia Governor, Jimmy Carter. I did not know anything about politics and apparently neither did a lot of Christians who voted for him.

The Republicans ran President Gerald Ford who barely beat Ronald Regan in the republican primary.

How different things would have been if the Christians had looked at the candidates more closely and seen that Ronald Regan was a true conservative and a true Christian, no matter the rhetoric of the Democrats and RINOs.

 

This Presidential election year: Christians take a hard close look at the four candidates that could become the next President of our nation. Pray and ask GOD for His Will for our nation and vote based on Biblical standards! Look past the rhetoric and accusations! The truth is hidden in the noise created to confuse!

Adoption

There are three types of adoption for humans: unofficial, official and spiritual.

Unofficial adoptions are where people claim another person as a relative who is not a blood relative. They except and love each other as if they are family and tell everyone that they are family. Sometimes this comes out of personal relationships, sometimes it comes from shared emotional experiences like a tragedy or war. These bonds are as strong as any natural relationship and for some people they are stronger than their blood relationships.

Official adoptions are where someone decides to legally adopt another person, usually as a child with full legal rights as any natural born blood child. This can be arranged through an authorized agency for such adoptions that meet the legal standards of where they are living and from where they are adopting; like a state foster agency or a foreign country. This can also be done through the local legal agency by consenting parties such as combined families, or by people who see a need and want to help as more than a friend.

Spiritual adoption is only done by the True and Living GOD, YAHWEH, Who adopts people who repent of being a sinner and receive His Salvation through YESHUA His Son. The Almighty GOD Who created everything that exists wants every human to be His Child with all the legal rights that His Only Begotten Son YESHUA has.

John 1:11-13 “He came to His own and His own did not receive Him, but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become Children of GOD, to those who believe in His Name: who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD.”

John 3:14-17 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life. For GOD so Loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life. For GOD did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be Saved.”

John 12:34-36 “The people answered Him, ‘We have heard from The Law that The Christ remains forever; and how can You say, “The Son of Man must be lifted up?” Who is the Son of Man?’ Then JESUS said to them, ‘A little while longer The Light is with you. Walk while you have The Light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have The Light, believe in The Light, that you may become Sons of Light.’ These things JESUS spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.”

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received The SPIRIT of Adoption by which we cry ‘Abba, Father.’ The SPIRIT Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are Children of GOD, and it Children, then Heirs–Heirs of GOD and joint Heirs with CHRIST, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may be glorified together…For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have The First Fruits of The SPIRIT, even we ourselves, eagerly waiting for The Adoption, The Redemption of our body.”

Romans 9:1-5 “I tell the Truth in CHRIST, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in The HOLY SPIRIT, that I have great sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from CHRIST for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the Adoption, the Glory, the Covenants, the giving of The Law, The Service of GOD, and The Promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, CHRIST came, Who is over all, The Eternally Blessed GOD. Amen.”

Galatians 3:22-4:7 “But The scripture has confirmed all under sin, that The Promise by Faith in JESUS CHRIST might be given to those who believe. But before Faith came we were all kept under guard by the Law, kept for The Faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore, The Law was our tutor to being us to CHRIST, that we might be Justified by Faith. But after Faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all Sons of GOD through CHRIST JESUS. For as many of you as were Baptized into CHRIST have put on CHRIST. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in CHRIST JESUS. And if you are CHRIST’s, then you are Abraham’s Seed, and Heirs according to The Promise. Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fulness of the time had come, GOD sent forth His son, born of a woman, born under The Law, to Redeem those who were under The Law, that we might receive The Adoption as Sons. And because we are Sons, GOD has sent forth The SPIRIT of His Son into our hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a Son, and if a Son, then an Heir of GOD through CHRIST.”

Ephesians 1:3-6 “Blessed be The GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who has Blessed us with every Spiritual Blessing in The Heavenly places in CHRIST, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before Him in Love, having predestined us to Adoption as Sons by JESUS CHRIST to Himself, according to the Good Pleasure of His Will, to the praise of The Glory of His Grace by which He made us accepted in The Beloved.”

Hebrews 12:3-8 “For consider Him Who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as Sons: ‘My son, do not despise the chastening of The LORD, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; for whom The LORD Loves, He chastens, and scourges every Son He receives.’ If you endure chastening, GOD deals with you as with Sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not Sons.”

So, we are received by GOD The Father as Sons in CHRIST JESUS, we are made joint Heirs of GOD’s Eternal Kingdom and like our first born brother, JESUS, we are called to serve The Father’s Will for and through our lives. The purpose of our Salvation is not so we can go to Heaven, it is to preach the Gospel to all the nations, to make disciples, to lay hands on the sick so they recover, to cast out demons, to baptize new believers, to raise the dead, to know the time in which we live, to watch and be ready for CHRIST’s return.!
