Blood!
A subject for study was proposed to me, “The blood of sin is
ever communicating and putting people into madness.”
People say, “I am flesh and blood.” JESUS, after His death on
the cross and his resurrection presented Himself as “flesh and bone”, Luke 24:36-43,
(:39) “..Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see,
for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have…” Ephesians 5:30-33,
(:30) “For we are members of His body, of His flesh and bones…”
JESUS’ blood was given as a sacrifice to take away the sin of
humanity because His Life is Eternal, John 1:29-34, (:29) “The next day John
saw JESUS coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of GOD Who takes away
the sin of the world!…’” 1 Peter 1:13-21, (:19) “…but with the Precious Blood
of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was
foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last
times for you…” Revelation 13:8, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him,
whose names have not been written in The book of Life of The Lamb slain from
the foundation of the world.”
Adam said after GOD made Eve from his rib, (:23) “And Adam
said: ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;’…” Genesis 2:22-24. They
were not aware of blood yet as there had been no death yet.
Blood cries out, Genesis 4:10; the blood of the innocent
cries out to GOD because GOD is the creator of life and the life of humanity
and every living animal is in their blood, Genesis 9:1-7, (:4) “…But you shall
not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood…”; Leviticus 17:11-12, (:11a) “For
the life of the flesh is in the blood…”
Blood is necessary for life to every human and every animal!
But blood does not carry sin, does not cause sin, and blood cannot sin. Blood
is the source of life for all flesh, it carries oxygen and nutrients to every
part of the body. There are two things that the lack of causes immediate death
blood and oxygen. Oxygen is external to the body, but the blood carries it to
every part of the body, even our skin gets oxygen from our blood rather than
the atmosphere.
Oxygen like blood is not self-willed, they do not know what
they are doing, whatever is in our atmosphere is taken into our body as we
breath and our blood carries it to every part of our body, even sickness and
disease.
Blood used for evil as in witchcraft has no life in it to
carry sin and has no influence over our life. When blood is removed from the
body it dies as well as the body dies. Blood is symbolic to those who are in
rebellion against GOD who is the creator of life because it is sacred to GOD.
The power of wicked sacrifices is not the blood but demonic spirits.
Death and blood of an animal was used by GOD to cover the sin
of Adam and Eve, Genesis 3:21, “Also for Adam and his wife The LORD GOD made
tunics of skin and clothed them.” The next mention of animal sacrifice is when Cain
and Able brought sacrifices to GOD, Genesis 4:1-4, then when Noah and his
family left the Ark, Genesis 8:20-21. And it continued on until the Sacrifice
of JESUS CHRIST to take away the sin of humanity; Hebrews 9:11-15, (:13-14) “For
if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the
unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the
blood of CHRIST, Who through the Eternal SPIRIT offered Himself without spot to
GOD, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the Living GOD.”
Animal sacrifice and the shedding of its blood was ordained
by GOD to cover sin, it does not remove sin. Only the death of JESUS and the
shedding of His blood takes away sin eternally. Study Hebrews 10.
That brings us to sin, so what causes sin? Disobedience to
GOD is sin and it has many symptoms; lust, hate, lying, stealing, pride, etc.
While sin is contagious it is not carried by the blood, sin
is a physical, emotional act or behavior that is learned by observation, there
is a proverb, “One rotten apple spoils the bunch.” The Bible teaches us that we
should not hang around with evil people or we will become like them, Proverbs
1:8-19, (:10, 15) “…My son, if sinners entice you, Do Not Consent!...My son, do
not walk in the way with them, Keep your foot from their path…” 1 Timothy 6:11-16,
(:11, 14a) “But you, O man of GOD, flee these things and pursue righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness…that you keep this commandment
without spot…”
Or passed on genetically. Exodus 20:4-6, (:5b) “…For I, The
LORD your GOD, am a jealous GOD, visiting (punishing) the iniquities of the
fathers upon the children to the third and forth generation to those who hate
Me…” It has been proven medically and scientifically that there is a genetic
addictive behavior in humans that some cannot control without the power of GOD
in their life. Romans 7:13-25, (:15, 25) “For what I am doing, I do not understand.
For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do…I
thank GOD – through JESUS CHRIST our LORD! So then, with the mind I myself
serve the Law of GOD, but with the flesh the law of sin.”
Only by the life, death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST are
we set free from the power (habit) of sin. Ephesians 1:7-14, (:7a, 13b-14) “In Him we
have Redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,…you are sealed with
The Holy SPIRIT of promise, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His Glory.” Study Romans
8 and 10.
So it is not sin in our blood, it is rebellion in our soul
and demonic activity that can be generational that causes us to sin and keep
sinning. Paul said, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
(Study 6:10-20)
And “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war,
according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but might
in GOD for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high
thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, bringing every thought
into captivity to the Obedience of CHRIST, and being ready to punish all
disobedience when your Obedience is fulfilled.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-6.
So “Seek first The Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness!” Matthew
6:33a
If you want to know the Truth and be set free you have to
keep His Commandments, John 8:31-32. If you are not doing these two things you are
susceptible to sin in your life.
