Covid-19 Testimony

The Covid-19 Truth According to Bob

The reality of Covid-19, the china virus, is that until every American has been exposed and either contracted or not the virus will not decrease!

Of the over 8 million Americans who have tested positive with the china virus many more have been exposed. They say that for every positive test there are about 5 other people who have been exposed and most of them do not get sick or have symptoms so minor that they do not need any treatment.

Also of the over 8 million Americans who have tested positive for the china virus over 7 million have recovered. The 250,000 Americans who have died from the china virus; and that is a tragic number of people; is 3.1 percent of those who tested positive. That means that over 92 percent of those who tested positive have recovered.

Covid-19 is dangerous but it is not to be feared, we have to be careful but we also have to live our lives normally.

Our personal example: Our son who is a 55 year old medical technician in good health, got the virus. He knew he had been exposed at work and when he started developing symptoms he was tested and went into personal lockdown. He was unable to do anything for a week. We got him hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin and he started breathing better within an hour. He stayed home for two more weeks, then he tested negative and was able to return to work. My 76 year old wife and his 17 year old son and I all live with him. None of us got sick and my wife was tested twice during the month long period. Several others (2 ER doctors and several nurses and techs) at the hospital where our son works have also tested positive during this pandemic, including a nurse this past week. None of them have died, one doctor, an older man will have to retire because of the damage to his lungs, but they have all recovered. A couple of patients have died but most have recovered.

This is the reality of live with the china virus until we are all exposed and there is a vaccine that actually prevents it.

Be careful, be safe but don’t be afraid.

GOD Loves you, GOD Bless you,

Bob

True and Truth!

True and Truth!

What are true and truth?

True: adj; consistent with fact or reality, not false or erroneous. adv; in accord with reality, fact or truthfulness. tr.v; to position (something) so as to make it balanced, level or square. n; truth or reality, used with the.

Truth: n; conformity to fact or actuality.*

So true is an action or descriptive of an action, such as, the world tells us “to be true to yourself”. Which means do what we want for our own goals and happiness, no matter how it affects other people. As a Christian what does it mean to be true? The Bible teaches us that GOD is True, the Bible teaches that GOD cannot tell a lie, that there is no deception in Him and everything He says and does is true to Himself and His purpose for all of His creation. The Bible describes it as “with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning”. The Bible teaches us “let GOD be True but everyman a liar”. So for us to be true we have to first know GOD and His purpose for His creation and us individually; because GOD is True and therefore we have to be true to GOD above everything else, even our ownself. This is why JESUS taught us to “seek first The Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness,” then everything we need will be provided according to GOD’s purpose and timing. That is why JESUS taught us to “store up treasure in Heaven” by doing as He did. JESUS only said and did what He saw The Father say and do.

What is true never changes and the only thing that never changes is GOD and His purposes (will), that is why JESUS taught us to pray “Our Father in Heaven, Holy is Your Name, Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done in the earth as it is in Heaven”. So to be true we have to be true to GOD who is True.

JESUS said that “if you know The Truth, The Truth will set you free”, what is The Truth? GOD! GOD is omniscient, He knows everything that has happened, is happening right now and that will happen because He is all knowing and He has ordained (willed) it. When Pilate asked JESUS, “What is truth?” he truly did not know and he truly did not want to know, his statement was critical and satirical based on his life’s experiences. In this world and in our life there is only one source of truth and that is GOD and His Word The Bible!

To be true to ourself we have to know The Truth-GOD! To be set free by The Truth we have to have a personal relationship with Him through JESUS CHRIST. To know the Truth you have to know Him who is The Truth. To know Him who is The Truth you have to have a personal relationship with Him. Just like to truly know anybody you have to have a personal relationship with them. That is done by being born again, confessing by trust that JESUS is the savior of humanity (yourself) and The Head of His Body in the earth, The Church. Then His HOLY SPIRIT comes to live in you and to teach you everything you need to know about JESUS through GOD’s Word The Bible!

How The White House is Seeking Justice for Native Americans by Rose Dunleavy

How the White House Is Seeking Justice for Native Americans

Indigenous communities have long been plagued by violence and poverty. The White House is working to change that.

By Rose Dunleavy, ContributorOct. 19, 2020, at 2:32 p.m.

Rose Dunleavy is the first lady of the state of Alaska. She was born in the Northwest Arctic.

ON SEPT. 14, 2018, Ashley Johnson-Barr's body was discovered just outside the Inupiat community of Kotzebue, Alaska. For eight days, the smiling 10-year-old's missing person's case had dominated the state's news coverage. Having grown up just 25 minutes from Kotz myself, the news of her murder was devastating.

While her killer was caught, justice remains out of reach for so many Indigenous victims of violence. For every Ashley, scores of families are left to wonder if their mother or daughter will ever be found or their killer apprehended. From Wyoming's Wind River Country to members of Canada's First Nations, the crisis of violence against Indigenous women and girls transcends state and national borders. Here in our own country, presidents of both parties have tried and failed to find lasting solutions.

To his credit, President Donald Trump has remained committed to our cause. The U.S. Department of Justice, for example, recently awarded over $560 million in grants to support public safety, crime victims and youth programs in tribal communities.

When Attorney General William Barr visited rural Alaska last year, he took our concerns seriously, joining our efforts by declaring a public safety emergency and devoting tens of millions of dollars to combating crime and assisting victims.

More importantly, he took our plight to the president, who responded by creating Operation Lady Justice, a historic nationwide effort to bring justice to missing and murdered Indigenous people. The job of the task force is to develop protocols to handle unsolved missing or murdered persons cases, and to provide closure to the many families who have gone without it for far too long.

This summer, the task force accomplished a major milestone with the opening of a cold case office in Anchorage, Alaska. This new office joins five existing Operation Lady Justice offices in ArizonaMontana and several other important locations. These are tangible resources that represent a long-term commitment to our nation's first peoples.

The president also has called for much-needed reforms to the Indian Health Service. This year, First Lady Melania Trump was briefed on a White House task force's recommendations for eliminating child abuse in a system that serves 2.6 million Native Americans and Alaska Natives.

The task force's 10 recommendations range from annual awareness training conducted by child welfare experts to withholding pay from retired employees convicted of exploiting children. The administration stands ready to implement these common sense solutions to ensure the terrible abuses seen in the past are never repeated.

But the health of our native communities requires more than simply solving cold cases and preventing crimes. In one county that's part of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, men have a life expectancy of about 63 years. For many Native Americans, economic opportunities are hard to come by. Like the rest of the nation, addictive substances are readily available where jobs are not.

One common theme discussed during the administration's roundtables with tribal interests is the importance of broadband infrastructure in addressing long-standing quality-of-life deficiencies. To that end, the administration hosted the first-ever National Tribal Broadband Summit, the second of which took place last month.

At the U.S. Department of Transportation, the new Tribal Transportation Self-Governance Program will provide tribal governments with more autonomy and less restrictions on how they spend their federal infrastructure dollars. Programs like these offer an important contrast to previous administrations who believed that Native American sovereignty was a gift from the federal government.

I am under no illusions about the difficulty of the challenges we face in rural Alaska or among tribal populations throughout the United States. For 17 years, my father served as the first chairman of the NANA Regional Corp., an organization tasked with creating economic opportunity for the Inupiat people of the Northwest Arctic. I celebrated his successes and shared in his struggles as he fought for a better future for our people. But in the current administration, I see allies: a president who is committed to a long-term partnership between tribal interests and the federal government, and a first lady who understands that poverty and victimization should never be a birthright.

As the mother of three bright young women, this gives me great hope. Between the administration's work and our state's historic efforts to increase public safety and economic opportunity in rural Alaska, I'm confident we can leave behind a safer, more prosperous world for all of our children.

Obamacare's Illusion of Preexisting Condition Protections by Seema Verma (CMS)

Obamacare’s Illusion of Preexisting Condition Protections

By SEEMA VERMA

October 19, 2020 4:04 PM

SEEMA VERMA is administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Prohibitive costs placed coverage outside the reach of everyday Americans, including countless with preexisting conditions.

President Trump’s recent executive order laying out his “America-First Healthcare Plan” makes clear his continued commitment to the long-standing, bipartisan consensus that we should protect people with preexisting conditions. Unfortunately, the previous administration’s attempt to make good on that consensus — Obamacare — has failed to deliver on its promises.

Contrary to the prevailing media narrative, federal health insurance enrollment protections for preexisting conditions long predate Obamacare. Bipartisan legislation passed nearly 25 years ago protects people with preexisting conditions and prior health coverage from having to wait for their condition to be covered when they move to a new job. These protections apply to the 180 million Americans with job-based coverage, who represent roughly 90 percent of everyone with private health coverage.

Obamacare attempted to deliver additional protections for people with preexisting countless with preexisting conditions.

After premiums doubled and even tripled in some states once Obamacare regulations took effect, individual-market coverage became unaffordable and unusable for millions of middle-class and self-employed Americans earning too much to qualify for subsidies. A 60-year-old couple living in Hannibal, Missouri, who earn $70,000 a year faces a $37,000 annual premium for the lowest-cost silver plan — over half their income — and that’s before a staggering $12,000 deductible. For them, there are no protections if they have a preexisting condition. Sadly, Obamacare has failed to protect them.

It’s time the national debate over Obamacare finally confronts this reality. One can support maintaining formal preexisting protections in the individual market — as President Trump has done repeatedly, and has done again in his recent executive order — while honestly confronting the law’s poor track record in making those protections meaningful for real people.

The data bear this out. From 2016 to 2018, 2.5 million unsubsidized enrollees left the individual market. Census data in turn show that the number of uninsured with incomes greater than 400 percent of the federal poverty line — the cutoff point to qualify for federal tax credits — increased by 1.1 million in 2018.

In short, Obamacare created a new class of uninsured — none of whom, of course, have the slightest protection against their preexisting conditions.

The pandemic has underscored just how unaffordable and unattractive Obamacare remains to most Americans. Over the last six months, millions have lost their jobs and with them their health-care coverage. Each and every one of these individuals who held job-based coverage is eligible for enrollment, and many states opened enrollment to anyone who is still uninsured. Still, relatively few have opted for Obamacare thus far.

Americans were promised Obamacare would protect them against discrimination on the basis of preexisting conditions. But when the price of unsubsidized coverage would bankrupt the average middle-class family, the promise of protection rings hollow.

By contrast, no one has done more to protect real people with real preexisting conditions than President Trump. He has not abided by the old, worn-out playbook of simply increasing taxes and spending more taxpayer dollars. Rather, he has addressed the underlying factors that limit access to care and make health care unaffordable in the first place. Under his watch, premiums have gone down for three consecutive years across HealthCare.gov, Medicare Advantage, and Part D health plans, while options have expanded for Americans who rely on these plans.

Moreover, his policies are driving toward a new age of transparency and interoperability where patients have the information they need — including the price of care and their medical records — to make the best health-care decisions with their doctor or to shop for new health-insurance coverage. This information will move us toward a system that increases provider competition and rewards lower-cost care. And that just scratches the surface.

The president’s antagonists are free to oppose his health-care agenda, marked by almost four years of increased patient control, fewer government mandates, and robust competition — an agenda that has delivered results. They are even free to defend the dubious legacy of Obamacare. But they should do so on the basis of fact, not fiction.

Acts 5:1-11

Acts 5:1-11

A few days ago I wrote a paper on John 20:21-23, today as I was reading in Acts 5 I felt that the story of Ananias and Sapphira related to what JESUS told the disciples when He breathed on them His SPIRIT and told them that whoever’s sin they retained or forgave were retained or forgiven.

Peter was not acting out of his own understanding or wisdom but was led by HOLY SPIRIT as he retained the sin of lying to HOLY SPIRIT and the Church of Ananias and Sapphira. Neither Ananias nor Sapphira had a chance to repent.

Now their sin was not in that they kept back part of the money from the sale of their property but that they said that they gave all of the proceeds to the Church when they had not. Peter made it clear that the property and the proceeds from the sale were theirs to do with as they pleased. Their sin was that they lied about how much they sold it for and secretly kept back part of the money.

The sin was not in the money, the sin was in the lie!

This sudden and final judgment created fear in all who heard, believers and non-believers alike. And that was the point of that judgment by HOLY SPIRIT; GOD values honesty and integrity and all believers are called to live by them. GOD is Truth and GOD is True.

Honesty and integrity in the small things of life will give us a reputation in the Church and in society so when we speak of GOD people will know we are telling the truth.

When I was growing up in the 50s and 60s we were told that honesty was the best policy, but I saw many adults who lied and so I learned to lie. After I became a Christian I learned the hard way that honesty was better than lying even though it was not always easy at the beginning of the process.

Not lying is the result of living a life of integrity and living a life of integrity can only come from seeking to serve GOD and do His will with our life.* The Bible is full of examples of people who lived their life with integrity and those who did not live their life with integrity, Proverbs is full of teachings on living a life of integrity before men and GOD. This is why it is important for Believers to read, study and meditate on GOD’s Word The Bible!

*Some people who are not Christians can live a life of honesty and integrity they (even if they do not know it) are living by the Biblical standard. It should make it easier for them to believe the truth about JESUS.

Will To Obey GOD!

Joshua 24:15

“If it seems bad for you to serve ADONAI, than choose today whom you will serve! … As for me and my household, we will serve ADONAI!” CJB

“When GOD gives us a vision of Truth it is never a question of what He will do, but of what we will do. We must exercise our will. We must will to obey.” Oswald Chambers.

For the last 70 years the Modern Church has stopped willing to obey GOD. While some have been willing not many obeyed. Being willing and doing are not the same and doing the works of GOD’s Kingdom rather than His will for us is disobedience!

The Church has let the world take over every aspect of our society and life without any real resistance. Now the world is on the brink of total chaos because the Church has been silent and complacent as they denied and removed GOD from every aspecy of our society and life.

The only cure is for the return of GOD into every aspect of our society and life! How? By our will to obey GOD before anything else!

Fast, pray, speak Truth, vote according to The Bible’s teaching on morality, righteousness, mercy and Truth.

GOD Bless, Bob
