“Because the Children of Israel are Servants to Me, they are My Servants whom I Brought out of the land of Egypt. I AM JEHOVAH your ELOHIM!”

 

Rewritten for The Church: Because the Believers in CHRIST are Servants to Me, they are My Servants whom I Redeemed out of sin by the Blood of My Son JESUS CHRIST. I AM JEHOVAH your ELOHIM!

 

Leviticus 25 is about keeping the Sabbaths for the land and the Year of Jubilee.

 

Every seventh year is a Sabbath year and no farming is done, the land rests. GOD’s Provision is given in the abundance of the sixth year’s harvest, which will last for three years, :18-22. (Numbers 14:19-24; Hebrews 4:8-10, that rest comes with JESUS Return.)

 

When land or people become indebted – sold – they cannot remain in that status, everyone and everything is redeemable at any time, but every fiftieth year everyone and everything must be returned to its original status (except houses in a walled city, they can only be redeem during the first year of their possession).

 

At the conclusion of these Commands GOD says because He is JEHOVAH GOD that His Servants must be Redeemed. In Israel, under The Torah this was accomplished according to GOD’s Commandments of sacrifices to cover their sins and keeping Sabbaths and Jubilees.

 

In The Church (The Body of CHRIST) it is done by JESUS’ Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension. JESUS fulfilled the Law of Redemption because He Fulfilled The Torah and The Prophets!

 

So if your are a Born Again Christian than you are GOD’s Servant! Are you Serving His Will and Purpose for your Life, family, community, fellowship?

:1-9 Warnings to watchmen about their responsibility to warn the people or the blood of the people who perish without being warned will held against them! I just published a teaching and video in this  on 9-26-2025, called Watchmen!.

 

:10-11 JEHOVAH declares that He takes no pleasure in the death of sinners (2 Peter 3:8-9). JEHOVAH says that if a righteous person commits a sin and dies, that his Righteous deeds of the past will not keep him from Judgement. This means that GOD does not practice “Once Saved Always Saved”. Do not say to yourself that this is the Old Testament and it does not matter or does not count or any other lame brained excuse to sin. JESUS said that He came to Fulfill the Torah and The Prophets, not do away with them, JESUS said that The Word of GOD will not pass away, it is Eternal (Matthew 5:17-20; Luke 16:14-18).

 

:12-16 Also, if a sinner repents and Lives a Righteous Life, at death his unrighteous deeds will not be held against him, what does Repentance mean? Verse15 “If the wrong Restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen and walks in The Laws of Life without doing crookedness, he shall certainly Live; he shall not die.” (2 Chronicles 7:13-14; John 3:14-21; Acts 3:18-20).

 

:17-20 Then the children of Israel who were in Jerusalem during the captivity of Babylon were complaining that GOD was not being Fair! (Isaiah 55:8-9) JEHOVAH told them through Ezekiel in verse 20, “And you have said, ‘The Way of JEHOVAH is not fair.’ House of Israel, I shall Judge every one of you according to you own Ways.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

 

:21-29 A man escapes from Jerusalem to tell Ezekiel how bad it was in Jerusalem; and JEHOVAH open Ezekiels mouth to speak to the people in Jerusalem. The people were trying to claim the land as an inheritance without Repenting of their sins  and GOD Judged them. The judgment of verses 25-29 was only partially fulfilled in the days of their captivity in Babylon, its complete fulfillment did not happen until 70 AD when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and The Temple and scattered the Israelites throughout the whole world that lasted for 1,878 years. The application for The Church is “Stop Complaining”, it is going to get harder before it gets better; the Great Tribulation is coming before CHRIST’s Millennial Reign! And the war of Gog comes before The New Heaven, Earth and Jerusalem! (Revelation 20:7-21:7)

 

:30-33 JEHOVAH tells Ezekiel that the people come to him asking for a Word from GOD and the like GOD’s Word but then the people do not Obey GOD’s Word. The Judgment will come on them as a “thief in the night”, they will not be expecting it! (Revelation 22:20-21) There are many Christians today who live to hear the Word of GOD, who love to sing about GOD but who do not Listen and Obey GOD! They will be surprised at their Judgment (Matthew 7:21-29).

Genesis 2:21-22, “So JEHOVAH ELOHIM caused a deep sleep to fall on the man and he slept; and GOD took one of his ribs (tsel‛âh: which means side, not just a rib; it also means architectural support structure, like the side of the Tabernacle (1 Kings 6:15-16), and closed up the flesh in its place. The rib which JEHOVAH ELOHIM had taken from the man He made into a woman and brought her to the man.”

Point 1: This means the woman was not just a bone, she was part of the Temple structure of the man’s Calling.

 

Point 2: Divine sleep before Divine match; this sleep is not just physical alone it is a prophetic stillness. The more a woman is hidden in GOD the more likely she is to be revealed at the right time.

 

Point 3: The war over Marriage is over thrones, satan does not fight Marriages because of emotion. Marriage is a Throne of generational Legislation! Abraham and Sarah birthed a Covenant nation. Ahab and Jezebel birthed a national destruction. Genesis 2:24, “For this cause a man will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become on flesh.” The two shall become one (’echâd) the same as Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear, O Isra’el; JEHOVAH our ELOHIM, JEHOVAH is One!”

 

Your marriage is not just personal its prophetic and governmental. Our JESUS CHRIST is our groom and we are His Bride; He gave His Life for us so that we become His Followers.

Throughout the First Testament we read about watchmen, being a watchman was a very important position with a lot of responsibility. They were lookouts for those approaching the city or community. They had the responsibility to announce the approach of important people or warn of approaching enemies or even warn of approaching weather. Cities big and small would have watchmen posted 24 hours a day every day; they would be posted in a place where they could see in the distance what was happening or approaching, on walls or in towers.

 

The Scriptures mention watchmen: 2 Samuel 18:24-27.

The Scriptures tell us that some have been called to be a watchman: Ezekiel 3:17.

The Scriptures tell us that being a Watchman of JEHOVAH is an awesome responsibility: Ezekiel 33:1-9; Psalm 127:1.

The Scriptures teach us that all Believers are watchmen: Proverbs 24:10-12, 24-26; Luke 10:1-24; Mark 13:33-37,16:14-18; 2 Corinthians 6:5, 11:27 (in these two passages in KJV it is “watchings”, in NKJV is it is “fastings”).

 

As Believers in JESUS CHRIST we are called to be about the Father’s Business in the earth as it is in Heaven and Watching for JESUS’ Return!

 

What is the Father’s Business? Redeeming His Creation! John 3:16-17 is The Father’s Business!

 

That is why that before He laid the foundation of the earth (1 Peter 1:13-21), before He created anything in our reality; He determined to come to earth as a human, born of a virgin so that He was fully GOD and fully Man – JESUS is The Son of Man and The Son of JEHOVAH GOD! GOD knew that Adam was going to sin and that He would have to Redeem us from the Eternal Judgment of Hell that was created for the devil (Matthew 25:41). So JEHOVAH GOD formed a human male in a virgin’s (Miryam [Mary] a direct descend of King David) womb. GOD revealed His plan throughout history to humanity (Psalm 22; Isaiah 53), mostly through the Hebrew people, to come as a Savior for all humanity (if you believe in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and Savior and Confess Him as Risen from the dead you will be Saved, Romans 10:8-13).

 

How are Believers in JESUS supposed to be about JEHOVAH GOD’s Business? Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:14-18; Romans 1:16-17, Romans 10.

 

All Christians are todays Watchmen! JESUS told us to Watch for His Return, to be ready for His Return and to be about the Work of His Kingdom while we are Watching for His Return, Matthew 24:42-44, 25:13; Mark 13:33-37; Luke 12:35-40, 21:34-36; Revelation 3:1-3; 16:12-16). The Apostles also watched and warned, Acts 20:24-32; 1 Corinthians 16:13; Ephesians 6:17-20; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; 2 Timothy 4:1-5; Hebrews 13:16-17; 1 Peter 4:7-11.

The Sin Of Nakedness!

Did you ever wonder why nakedness was a sin?

 

About 3000 years after creation GOD gave The Hebrew people The Torah – The Law, it was meant for all peoples of all nations but the Hebrews failed in their responsibility to Live by It and disseminate it to the rest of the world.

 

In the Torah, Leviticus 18 has a lot of regulations about nakedness and sex, sometimes the two are related but not always.

The third time naked or nakedness is mentioned in the Bible is in The Torah given in Exodus and Leviticus.

The second time naked or nakedness is mentioned in The Bible is in Genesis 9:20-23, the nakedness of Noah and GOD’s judgment on Ham for exposing his nakedness.

The first time naked or nakedness is mentioned in The Bible Genesis 2:23-25 (‛ârôm)* and Genesis 3:7-13 (‛êrôm)*.

 

I have always understood that seeing other people naked was a moral issue that was generally fronded upon in civilized nations; which is why it is such a strong temptation. But it is deeper than that, in Genesis the first mention of nakedness or nudity is in 2:25 after GOD made Eve, it states, “And they were both naked, the man and his wife and were not ashamed.” GOD united them in Marriage so that they were one flesh, and they did not realize they were naked because there was no sin!

 

In Genesis 3 we see sin and shame arrive with the knowledge of Good and evil; “So Adam SAID, ‘I heard Your voice in the Garden and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.’ JEHOVAH asked, ‘Who told you that you were naked, have you  eaten from the tree of which I told you not to eat?’ Adam’s response was to blame Eve and so sin, shame and blaming became part of Marriage.

 

The reason that nakedness outside of Marriage is a sin is because it is representative of human rebellion against GOD and His institution of Marriage. Adam and Eve did not know they were naked and there was no sexuality associated with their nakedness until Adam sinned!

 

Pornography started as depicting the naked human body, it has grown to very gross levels of immorality and perversion. Many Christians partake of the sin of pornography via television, movies, books and the internet; not just the hard core pornography but also the soft core pornography! Watching people other than your spouse or your very young children who are naked is a sin before JEHOVAH GOD!

 

If you are a Christian, married or single and when you see an attritive person of the opposite sex and your thoughts are sensual or sexual then you are sinning according to JESUS, “You have heard that it was said of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery!’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Matthew 5:27-30 NKJV)

My paraphrase of this passage of Scripture, ““You have heard that it was said of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery!’ But I say to you that whoever looks at another person to lust for them has already committed sexual immorality with them in their heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”

 

In Revelation 22:15 JESUS lists those who will not be allowed into Jerusalem during His 1000 year Reign over the nations of the earth, “But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

In Revelation 21:8 JESUS lists those who will not be allowed into His Eternal Kingdom (Heaven), “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the Lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

 

To JEHOVAH GOD this is a very serious issue, do not be on the wrong side of the sin of nakedness!

Nakedness = 6172 Leviticus 18, 20 ‛ervâh = nudity, literality (especially the pudenda) or figuratively (disgrace or blemish):-nakedness, shame, unclean *-ness). From 6168 (Lamentations 4:21) ‛ârâh = a primary root; to be (causatively make) bare; hence to empty, pour out, demolish:-leave destitute, discover, empty, make naked, pour (out), rase, spread self, uncover.

True faith is not in the absence of the storm but True Faith is in the middle of the storm!

 

:22-24 “Immediately JESUS made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away He went up onto the mountain by Himself to Pray. Now when evening came He was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea tossed by the waves for the wind was contrary.” Storms are a part of Obedience – JESUS sent the disciples into the midst of the storm. Obedience does not exempt us from the storm but the storm is to increase our Faith!

 

:25-27 “Now in the forth watch of the night, JESUS went to them walking on the sea; and when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea they were troubled, saying, ‘It is a ghost!’ and they cried out for fear. But immediately JESUS spoke to then, saying, ‘Be of Good Cheer, it is I do not be afraid!’” JESUS sees you and comforts you. JESUS walking on the water saw their struggle (Mark 6:47-52). JESUS walks above the storm and tells us not to be afraid! When emotions take over remember that JESUS is in our storm!

 

:28-29 “Peter answered Him and said, ‘LORD, if it is You, Command me to come to You on the water.’ So JESUS said, ‘Come!’ and when Peter had come down out of the boat he walked on the water to go to JESUS.’” Faith steps out of the boat! Peter says, “LORD, if it is you, command me…”, this is the question we should ask in every situation of our Life! JESUS said, “Come!”  Do not wait for the circumstances to be just right! Peter wants to exercise his Faith but he did not step out until JESUS said to, when JESUS Calls step out in Faith!

 

:30-31 “But when he saw that the wind was boisterous he was afraid and beginning to sink, He cried out saying, ‘LORD Save Me!’ and immediately JESUS reached out his hand and caught him, and said to him, ‘O you of Little Faith why did you doubt?’“ Doubt distracts but Grace Saves! Everyone at some point in our Life have doubted and not stepped out in Obedient Faith! Peter lost his focus on JESUS he focused on his circumstances in the storm and started to sink; he called out to JESUS and JESUS immediately reached out and saved him! Faith does not mean you will not fall but it means you know Who to Call to for Grace!

 

:32-33 “And when they got into the boat the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and Worshiped Him, saying, ‘Truly You are The Son of GOD!’” When JESUS entered into the circumstances of the disciples the storm calmed (Matthew 8:23-34) and they recognized Him as LORD and worshipped Him! They moved from fear to Worship! Every storm is an opportunity to see JESUS more clearly and to Worship Him more deeply!

 

In the storm are my eyes on the circumstances or on JESUS The LORD of all creation? JESUS does not Promise us a storm free Life. JESUS does Promise to be with us to lift us up and calm the storm! In the storm JESUS Calls us to step out and then we can call out for Him to Save us if we need to, then we should Worship the One Who brings us through. We know that GOD is in Control so we should be Bold in our Faith!

GOD Knows Our Sin!

 

Proverbs 5:21-23 “For the ways of man are before the eyes of JEHOVAH, and He considers all his paths. The wrong one is entrapped in his own crookedness and he is caught in the cords of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline and in the greatness of his folly he goes astray.”

GOD sees all, knows all and hears all, even our thoughts!

 

James 1:13-16 “Let no one say when he is enticed, ‘I am enticed by GOD,’ for GOD is not enticed by evil  and He entices no one! But each one is enticed when he is drawn by his own desires and trapped. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin when it has been accomplished brings forth death. Do not go astray my beloved brothers.”

I call this LSD – lust, sin, death!

 

The Blood of JESUS takes away our sins! (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Hebrews 9:13-1 7; Revelation 1:4-6)

 

The water of Baptism in JESUS’ (Father, Son , HOLY SPIRIT) Name washes us and buries our sins with JESUS in the Grave; when we rise from Baptism we are filled with GOD’s HOLY SPIRIT and made a New Creation in JESUS CHRIST! (Mark 1:1-11; John 3:3-7; Acts 22:14-16; Romans 6:1-7; Colossians 2:11-14)

 

We are washed in The Water of The Word, as we read and study the Word of GOD it cleanses our soul! (Ephesians 5:25-27)

 

So what am I saying? GOD sees and knows our sins and He is Calling us to Repentance!

Repentance is not the act of asking for Forgiveness! When our heart is pricked by GOD’s SPIRIT that we are a sinner and need Salvation that can only be received through JESUS CHRIST (John 14:6) and we ask GOD to Forgive us our sins, that is only the beginning. (Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:14-18) Salvation is Forgiveness and Repentance, Repentance is everything that we do in Obedience to GOD after we receive Forgiveness. Baptism in water, Baptism in GOD’s SPIRIT, Baptism in GOD’s Word (2 Timothy 2:14-17, 3:14-17); if we are Living in these behaviors we will be Living in Obedience to GOD, Overcoming temptation and sin!

 

JESUS throughout the Gospels and Revelation tells us to have ears that Hear What The SPIRIT is Saying and to Overcome. You will not Hear What The SPIRIT is Saying if you do not know What GOD’s Word Says and if you do not Hear What The SPIRIT is Saying you will not be able to Overcome the issues of Life and sin!
