Light Life Love

The first 150 years of public education in the United States was based in the 3 Rs: Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic.

The first 1900 years of Christian education was based on the 3 Ls: Light, Life and Love.

“In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and the darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of GOD was hovering over the face of the waters. Then GOD said, ‘Let there be light.’ And GOD saw the light, that it was good; and GOD divided the light from the darkness. GOD called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.” “So GOD created man in His own image; in the image of GOD He created him; male and female He created them, then GOD blessed them, and GOD said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’” “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gave light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of GOD, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, not of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD.” “Now hope does not disappoint, because the Love of GOD has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Genesis 1:1-5, 27-28; John 1:1-13; Romans 5:5 NKJV)
