Martha and the Resurrection (Rapture)!

Now Martha said to JESUS, ‘LORD, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.’ JESUS said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the resurrection (rapture) at the Last Day* (Revelation 11:14-15).’ JESUS said to her, ‘I Am the Resurrection and The Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?...’” John 11:1-44

 

“Moreover brethren, I declare to you The Gospel which I  preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which you are saved, if you hold fast that Word which I preached to you–unless you believed in vain…Now if CHRIST is preached that He is raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then CHRIST is not risen. And if CHRIST is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is empty…But now CHRIST is risen from the dead, and has become the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep (died)…But each one in his own order: CHRIST the Firstfruits, afterward those who are CHRIST’s at His coming. Then comes The End, when He delivers The Kingdom to GOD The FATHER (Revelation 21:1-8), when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must Reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The Last enemy that will be destroyed is death (Revelation 20:14-15)…But someone will say, ‘How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?’…Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood (Luke 34:39) cannot inherit the Kingdom of GOD; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed–in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last (seventh) trumpet (Revelation 11:15). For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible (Revelation 20:4-6), and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immorality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory?’ The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to GOD, who gives us the Victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of The LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in The LORD.” 1 Corinthians 15

 

*Even the Jews of JESUS day knew that the resurrection (rapture) does not take place until the Last Day before JESUS begins He thousand year reign over the nations of the earth.

Do Good to those who hate you, Bless those who curse you, Pray for those who mistreat you. If someone hits you on one cheek, offer the other too; if someone takes your coat, let him have your shirt as well. If someone asks you for something, give it to him; if someone takes what belongs to you, don’t demand it back. Treat other people as you would like them to treat you.” Luke 6:26-31 CJB

 

These are hard teachings because they require us to Trust in GOD no matter how people treat us. GOD expects us to live righteously no matter what! Knowing that in the end His Will will be done. Seek GOD First! GOD Bless, Bob & Charlene

Obviously GOD Loves us and if we live our life only thinking about our wants and needs then we have missed the purpose of our Call – The GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST!

Veteran's Day 2021

 

Today is Veteran’s Day in America, originally called Armistice Day at the end of World War 1.

It is also the anniversary of my father’s birth (November 11, 1927), he would be 94 today, but he passed from cancer of the throat in 2018. When we was 16 he convinced his mother, Thelma (Booth) Headrick, a single mom with two sons, to sign a paper saying he was 17 so he could join the Merchant Marines. He was on a supply ship during the invasion of the Philippines, his ship was strafed by a Japanese fighter and the man in front of him was wounded.  When he returned to the States he was now thought to be 18 and he joined the Army and was sent to Germany where the war was over. He said that the Russians would often take pot shots at them and they in return would do the same. When the war with Japan ended he was discharged and returned to the States. He got a job as an accountant for Sears but was not really happy so he joined the Navy. He was stationed aboard the USS Sperry in San Diego where he met Barbara Jean Colburn. They dated and got married in January of 1951 (during the Korean war) and I was born on December 8, 1951. He then was station in Hawaii for two years and my sister Josephine was born in 1953; after that he was stationed in Japan and our brother Steven was born, then he was stationed in Texas. He was discharged in 1957 and we moved to San Antonio where our sister Lynn was born.

My father Robert (Bob) Benjamin Headrick was a veteran of three services during two wars by his own choice. I am a veteran of the Navy (Vietnam) and the Navy Reserve, both my sisters are veterans of the Army. My son is a veteran of the army and spent 3 years in Korea. We have many family members who are veterans of the US Military, including my cousin Alan Headrick who retired as a Captain of the Navy (TAR).

I and my family Thank all who have served our Nation at any time in any of our military services.

This morning I’m awakened at 6:30 by an Amber alert. The loud obnoxious sound bolts me out of bed to stop it; this causes momentary anger at being rudely awakened. I start praying for all involved, especially the children. As I’m now awake and starting my morning activities an old worldly tune starts playing in my head, at first I don’t remember the words but I don’t like the tune so I start thanking JESUS for who He is. Then the words start playing in my head; “In the heat of the moment.” over and over. I don’t like the immoral theme of the song but it keeps playing in the back of my head even as I’m thanking JESUS.

I read the word from Oswald and as I start writing this the song starts to fade, now it is a only a memory. Which brings us to Oswald’s message, it’s not about inspiration  but obedience, about not letting the world in any form distract us or stop us from The Commission JESUS gave every Disciple’ seek Him, pray and tell people about Him.

This word was for Babylon, but it is also to everyone, every group and every government that uses any form of witchcraft; there is no help for those who trust in witchcraft, only eternal judgment in The Lake of Fire.

My Dream 11/4/2021

 

Dream

11/4/2021 between 5 & 6 AM

 

In my dream I met Former President Regan in an airport concourse as we were both leaving the airport. People were giving him cookies and he did not want them. I told him to put them in his pocket and then give them to people as he met them. As we left the building we walked across a large open well manicured park like area, we walked together not really talking but obviously going to the same place.

 

He seemed tall to me and at times watched me as we walked. When we arrived at what turned out to be a university we separated and I met some friends. Two of them were telling me they decided to leave the university and go to an employer specific school (I was not a student). This was in technology, as we talked we agreed that it would be better to get an employer’s specific training rather than general education (this would apply spiritually also).

 

Then we went to a room where Regan was to be speaking, as we were entering the area we heard of another speaker so we went into that room. In my dream that speaker’s name was not mentioned but I said he was going to be the next president (I felt it was President Donald Trump).

 

Our chairs lined the wall around the room, as the MC started speaking the people stood up and stared line dancing (Jewish not country, the song started as worship but then changed to romantic) then we broke into couples, I was dancing with a preteen girl. Then we were back in our chairs and as we listened to the speaker I looked at my friends. Then it seemed we were sitting in a car and they were crammed into the back seat. I asked if they were ok and they said yes as long as they could hear the speaker.

 

Them my dream ended.
