Martha and
the Resurrection (Rapture)!
“…So when JESUS came, He found that he (Lazarus) had already been in the tomb four days…Then Martha, as soon as she heard that JESUS was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. Now Martha said to JESUS, ‘LORD, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.’ JESUS said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the resurrection (rapture) at the Last Day* (Revelation 11:14-15).’ JESUS said to her, ‘I Am the Resurrection and The Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?...’” John 11:1-44
“Moreover brethren, I declare to you The Gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which you are saved, if you hold fast that Word which I preached to you–unless you believed in vain…Now if CHRIST is preached that He is raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then CHRIST is not risen. And if CHRIST is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is empty…But now CHRIST is risen from the dead, and has become the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep (died)…But each one in his own order: CHRIST the Firstfruits, afterward those who are CHRIST’s at His coming. Then comes The End, when He delivers The Kingdom to GOD The FATHER (Revelation 21:1-8), when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must Reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The Last enemy that will be destroyed is death (Revelation 20:14-15)…But someone will say, ‘How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?’…Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood (Luke 34:39) cannot inherit the Kingdom of GOD; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed–in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last (seventh) trumpet (Revelation 11:15). For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible (Revelation 20:4-6), and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immorality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory?’ The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to GOD, who gives us the Victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of The LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in The LORD.” 1 Corinthians 15
*Even the Jews of JESUS day knew that the resurrection (rapture) does not take place until the Last Day before JESUS begins He thousand year reign over the nations of the earth.
