What Does The Book Of Proverbs Say For Today Part 8

What Does Proverbs Say For Today Part 8

Humility and Pride

1 Humble = adj. modest, unassuming. Syn. Lowly. A man is humble from a sense of his imperfections; he is modest inasmuch as he sets little value on his qualifications and acquirements.

Humility = n. modesty, mildness, freedom from pride; unpretentiousness.

2 Humility (OT) = humility, gentleness, affliction.

3 Humble = Abase, to make or bring low; to humble; Contemn, to despise with mockery; Entreaties, pleadings; humble requests; Ravish, to rape; lie with; humble; Spite, vexation; anger; grief.

1 Pride = n. inordinate self-regard; a proper feeling of esteem for one’s own qualities or achievements; that which one prizes, as my record is my pride.

5Pride = Verbs. “to be proud, be exalted.” This verb appears 7 times in biblical Hebrew. The word appears in Exod. 15:1 in the sense of “to be exalted”: “I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted [KJV, “he hath triumphed”]; The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea (NASB).

“Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble. When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom. Better is the one who is slighted (lightly esteemed) but has a servant, than he who honors himself but lacks bread. By pride comes nothing but strife, but with the well-advised is wisdom. In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride, but the lips of the wise will preserve them. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident. The LORD will destroy the house of the proud, but He will establish the boundary of the widow. The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weights the spirits. Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces (Lit. hand to hand), none will go unpunished. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (stumbling). Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil (plunder) with the proud. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. He who loves transgression loves strife, and he who exalts his gate seeks destruction. A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment (sound wisdom). Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility. He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him. Most men will proclaim each his own goodness (Lit. mercy), but who can find a faithful man? Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weights the hearts. A haughty look, a proud heart, and the plowing (Or lamp) of the wicked are sin. A proud and haughty man – ‘Scoffer’ is his name; he acts with arrogant pride. By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches and honor and life. It is not good to eat much honey; so to seek one’s own glory is not glory. Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the LORD will be prospered. He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor. There is a generation that is pure in its’ own eyes, yet is not washed from its filthiness. There is a generation – oh, how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up (in arrogance). If you have been foolish in exalting yourself, or if you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth.” (Proverbs 3:34; 11:2; 12:9; 13:10; 14:3, 15-16, 18; 15:25, 33; 16:2, 5, 19; 17:19; 18:1, 12-13; 20:6; 21:2-4, 24; 22:4; 25:27; 26:12; 27:1-2; 28:25; 29:1, 23; 30:12-13, 32)

“When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2 Wisdom is not easy for the proud, remember wisdom is not intelligence but the ability to learn and apply knowledge and understanding to every aspect of life.

“Better is the one who is slighted (lightly esteemed) but has a servant, than he who honors himself but lacks bread. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident. A proud and haughty man – “Scoffer” is his name; he acts with arrogant pride.” Proverbs 12:9; 14:16; 21:24 Sounds like being a “wiseacre” or “wise guy” is bad. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” and James says is James 4:13-17, “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we (M let us) will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life” It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the LORD wills, we shall live and do this or that.’ But now you boost in your arrogance. All such boosting is evil. Therefore to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

Proverbs 26:1-11 teaches about fools and folly then Solomon ends this passage with this statement, “Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.” Proverbs 26:12 this is a strong judgment against pride!

“The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (stumbling). Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility. A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor. When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’ Then He will save the humble person. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled (put down), and he who humbles himself will be exalted (lifted up).” Proverbs 15:33; 16:18; 18:12; 29:23; Job 22:29; Matthew 23:12 “And whoever exalts himself will be humbled (put down), and he who humbles himself will be exalted (lifter up).” It is clear that self humility is better than humiliation. Study Luke 14:7-14.

“Most men will proclaim each his own goodness (Lit. mercy), but who can find a faithful man?” Proverbs 20:6 JESUS told us not to boast of our good deeds, “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in Heaven…That your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly (NU omits openly).” Matthew 6:1-4

Humility is the nature of JESUS, pride is the nature of the devil and the root of all sin5, and we are called to repent of pride and live in humility. Let this mind be in you which was also in CHRIST JESUS, who, being in the form of GOD, did not consider it robbery to be equal (Or something to be held onto to be equal) with GOD, but made Himself of no reputation (emptied Himself of His privileges), taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore GOD also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of JESUS every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of GOD the Father.”You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of GOD, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober (self-controlled), be vigilant (watchful); because (NU, M omit because) your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  “Therefore submit to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and He will lift you up.” (Philippians 2:5-11; John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:6-8; James 4:7-10) In 1968 the Rock group American Breed released a love song “Bend Me, Shape Me”, the chorus is, “Bend me, shape me, Anyway you want me, Long as you love me, it's all right.” This should be the theme of our life as a Christian.

Pride is natural to our sin nature, but JESUS has delivered us from the sin nature that we were born with and given us His nature of humility. Humility from the world’s perspective can be, but is not necessarily, a positive quality. From GOD’s perspective it is the only human quality that will not be judged, Matthew 5:2-12; 7:1-5. “Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth (Or land).

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see GOD.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of GOD.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.’”

“Judge (condemn) not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment (condemnation) you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Proverbs 21:4 says, “A haughty look, a proud heart, and the plowing (Or lamp) of the wicked are sin.” In the KJV, “and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.” is also rendered, “or, the light of the wicked.”

6 To Plow = The word is used to express the plotting of evil against a friend in Prov. 3:29: “Devise not evil against thy neighbor, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee”, literally, “do not plow evil”

JESUS said, The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good (clear or healthy), your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad (evil or unhealthy), your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23.

Pride causes our heart to be darkened to the point we become reprobate, pride leads to every other vice7. Romans 1:18-25, “For the wrath of GOD is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress (hold down) the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of GOD is manifest (evident) in them (among), for GOD has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and GODhead (divine nature, deity), so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew GOD, they did not glorify Him as GOD, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible GOD into an image made like corruptible (perishable) man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of GOD for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Study this passage with the intent to see your own pride.

Proverbs 21:24, “A proud and haughty man – ‘Scoffer’ is his name; he acts with arrogant pride.”

1 Scoff = n. a jeer, an expression of contempt, mockery or derision. v.i. and v.t. to mock, jeer, treat with scorn, deride.

8 Scoffers = Persons who try to turn all religion into ridicule, with a design to depreciate truth and represent it as contemptible.

2 Peter 3:3-7, “knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.’ For this they willfully forget: that by the Word of GOD the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same Word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition (destruction) of unGODly men.” Study Psalm 19.

Seek GOD's Kingdom!

Seek GOD’s Kingdom!

Matthew 6:33 “You, seek first The Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For, everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Matthew 13:45-46 “Again, The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”

Matthew 6:33 is about seeking GOD and because you put GOD first He supplies all that you need (not want). In many modern translations the “you” is left out, but the “you” is an imperative. Without the “you” it is just a statement, with the “you” it is a command. Study 6:25-34

Matthew 7:7-8 is mostly misunderstood, many believe that this is about getting stuff from GOD when it is actually being Blessed by GOD for seeking Him.  JESUS compares GOD’s Gift giving to ours, ours is about natural things, GOD’s is about eternal things, then commands us to treat others as we want to be treated. Study 7:7-12

Matthew 13:45-46 is about seeking GOD, the reward is in giving up your life to find and acquire GOD’s Kingdom. The story about the hidden treasure, it’s like the man just stumbled upon it, but why was he wandering through a field that was not his? He was looking for something, even if he did not know what it was. In the story of the great pearl the man was seeking it then gave everything to have it. This is what JESUS calls us to do, give up our life for His; Mark 8:34-38.  Study 13:44-52

In all of these parable examples of GOD’s provision it starts with the seeker. These are not about the point of salvation; most lost people do not seek GOD’s Kingdom or Righteousness. This is about once we are saved we then must start seeking GOD’s Kingdom and Righteousness!

This is what Paul was saying to the Philippians in 2:12-13, (paraphrased) “Now that you are saved you must work at staying saved, you cannot sit around and wait for GOD to Bless you, you must seek it by your new lifestyle, that is His Will.” Study 2:1-18

And none of these say that it will happen right away, which is what people want. All of GOD’s promises are “Yes” and “Amen”, but they are not promised immediately (Psalm 37:34; Isaiah 40:31; Romans 8:18-25; Philippians 3:20-21).

BE HOLY!

BE HOLY!

We know that GOD is HOLY or set apart from every other being because He is the creator of all beings and no being can stand before GOD on their own merit.

We know that GOD created humanity in His own image (Genesis 1:26-27) and called humanity to be Holy as He is HOLY (Leviticus 11:44-45; 1 Peter 1:16); we are to be set apart to GOD above everything and everybody else.

We know that GOD is Spirit (John 4:24) and that being made in His image that humanity is spirit. We know that Ruach HaKodesh (The HOLY SPIRIT or SPIRIT of GOD) is GOD. One of the identifying marks of the believer is that the SPIRIT of GOD is the seal or mark of our salvation; or the HOLY SPIRIT is the seal of our being set apart to GOD (Ephesians 1:13-14). This is the evidence to the spiritual and physical world that we are redeemed by the Blood of the LAMB; that those humans who believe and confess that JESUS CHRIST is Savior and LORD are born again as a new creation in CHRIST JESUS. We are set apart from the world even though we still live in the world because He has made us Holy as He is HOLY.

So why does GOD tell us in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, “Be Holy as I am HOLY!” if His SPIRIT sets us apart from those who do not believe and is the seal of our Holiness? Because as the whole of the Old and New Testaments teach; we are to stop living like those of the world around us live. As JESUS said, “Go and sin no more!” (John 5:14, 8:11) we are called to be separate from those in the world who do not believe in GOD and JESUS CHRIST, those who continue to sin (John 17:15-18).

It is not about religious activity, even though under the Law the Jews were called to be Holy as GOD is HOLY they did not desire a personal relationship with GOD but preferred Moses to act as their mediator, and they failed to understand and therefore know GOD as SPIRIT and TRUTH so they became religious. JESUS came as the perfect and only mediator between GOD and humanity that could actually bring humanity back into relationship with GOD and lead humanity into Holiness (John 14:6; Hebrews 7:25); because as the Son of GOD (in the SPIRIT) and the Son of Man (in the flesh) He was the only person who was set apart to GOD from conception since Adam and it was Adam who sinned (disobeyed) and caused humanity to stop being Holy to GOD (1 Corinthians 15:20-22).

Adam was conceived in the heart of GOD and formed from the dust (which GOD had created) and then GOD breathed into Adam and made him a living being and GOD commissioned him to care for His creation. JESUS was conceived in the heart of GOD before the foundation of the earth was laid then formed in the womb of the virgin (Luke 1:30-35) and commissioned with the salvation of humanity and creation waits for the fulfillment of our salvation.

It is about how we live our life now that we believe in JESUS and confess Him as Savior and LORD. Our part of being Holy as GOD is HOLY is to demonstrate to the world by our lifestyle that we are no longer part of the world (even though we still live in the world) but that we are set apart for GOD’s eternal Kingdom now! (Philippians 2:12-13; 1 Peter 2:11-12) We are to be witnesses; light and salt (Matthew 5:13-16) of GOD’s eternal Kingdom so that others will see and desire what we have and we are to be ambassadors of GOD’s eternal Kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:20) telling people how to receive citizenship.

But we must be clear this is not a dual citizenship life we now live. We cannot be citizens of both the world and GOD’s eternal Kingdom Matthew 6:24)! The true sign of our being Holy as GOD is HOLY is that we live in the world even while we live for GOD’s eternal Kingdom. Relationship with GOD is about lifestyle. We can be religious and live for the world but we cannot have a personal relationship with GOD as our Father and live for the world. To have a personal relationship with GOD as our Father we have to live for Him and His eternal Kingdom. That is being set apart only for GOD; that is being Holy as GOD is HOLY!

A Christian Perspective On AI by Andrew Torba

A Christian Perspective on AI

FEBRUARY 3, 2023

AI is about to shift the fundamental reality of our entire society, culture, and world. I feel it is my responsibility to help my brothers and sisters in Christ understand this fact, come to grips with it, and encourage them to start building before our enemies gain too much ground.

Christians have been building and using tools to glorify God for millennia. This is nothing new, and it’s only scary if we allow the enemy to take dominion over these new tools and use them against us as we, unfortunately, did with the last great leap in technology: social media.

Christians moved too slowly and allowed our enemies to dominate the technology to capture the minds of the youth with social media platforms. Thankfully we’ve recently been building our own parallel social media platforms like Gab, but imagine if we had started a decade earlier alongside Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. We can’t miss the boat again, or we will risk losing yet another generation of youth to the pagans.

The AI arms race will be the ultimate battle of worldviews. Future generations will be shaped by whatever AI they end up interacting with on a daily basis across every facet of society. That is why we must build an AI shaped by the Christian worldview, that is to say, one grounded in Truth.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen many Christians calling AI the “antichrist” or the “mark of the beast” or some other such nonsense. This is the result of a century of flawed doomsday eschatology, where the modern Christian mind has been–somewhat ironically–programmed to seek out end-times signals and even wishfully embrace bad things happening as a sign that Christ is returning soon. It’s time for Christians to stop praying for doomsday and start building for the glory of God again.

“The development of AI must be guided by a deep understanding of what it means to be human, created in the image of God.” – Dr. John Piper

Many of us are acutely aware of just how bad things are right now in our society and culture. If you think CRT in schools, the anti-White content in entertainment, media, and education, and the anti-Christian cultural content is degenerate and satanic now, you haven’t seen anything yet. If our enemies lay claim to the mass adoption of AI, they will ensure that dissident Christian voices and the Biblical worldview are stamped out of society for generations to come.

That’s how serious and important this is.

Few people understand that we are heading towards a world where most of us will literally not know what is “real” or fabricated by AI regarding video, audio, and text content. Anyone anywhere in the world can create stunningly detailed images, videos, novels, news articles, and much more simply by asking an AI system to do it. Watch this video that appears to be President Biden. It looks like him, it sounds like him, but it’s not him. This video was created by AI.

https://twitter.com/MachiavelliMemz/status/1621212197480267777?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1621212197480267777%7Ctwgr%5E1e6e0999aa72b186c648f087b50c2845c9dbd8d5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnews.gab.com%2F2023%2F02%2Fa-christian-perspective-on-ai%2F

While some may panic about this emerging technology and rapidly changing world, I actually see it as a massive Gospel opportunity. As Christians, we know that the Truth of Jesus Christ is the ultimate reality. Jesus Christ and the Truth of God’s Word is solid ground for us to stand on in a world where reality and fiction are rapidly blended into the fog of artificial information warfare. In a world where people no longer know what “reality” is, they will seek solid ground to stand on.

Jesus Christ is that ground.

Christians have been leaders in technology, science, math, art, and innovation for centuries.

The printing press made the mass dissemination of knowledge possible, while AI is transforming how people interact with technology and the world around them. The invention of the printing press led to a cultural and intellectual revolution. AI is also profoundly impacting society, changing how people work, learn, and interact with each other.

Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press, was a member of the German Christian community in the 15th century. The printing press played a significant role in the spread of Christianity and in shaping the religious landscape of Europe. By making the Bible and other religious texts more widely available, the printing press helped bring the message of the Gospel to more people and contributed to the spread of Christianity worldwide.

Every player in the AI space is spending billions to try to prevent AI from reaching its full potential by neutering it with politically correct wokeness and rewriting history. Let me give you an example. The snakes in Silicon Valley—like Sam Altman, the CEO of Open AI which built ChatGPT—would love for you to believe that Alan Turing is the “Father of Computing,” but the reality is Charles Babbage was widely considered the “Father of Computing” long before Alan Turing was even born.

Charles Babbage was an English mathematician, inventor, and mechanical engineer credited with designing the first mechanical computer, known as the “analytical engine.” He is considered the father of computing, and his work laid the foundation for future computer development. Like Gutenberg and many brilliant thinkers and inventors before him, he, too, was a Christian.

Yet you wouldn’t know that by asking this question to ChatGPT.

Again, this is why we must build our own AI grounded in Truth. If we let these people gain ground in this space, they will rewrite history and force their degenerate anti-God ideology into the minds of all who interact with their systems.

David Rozado, an academic researcher, recently ran an analysis of ChatGPT through 15 different political orientation tests to diagnose ChatGPT answers for political viewpoint. 14 out of 15 of those tests demonstrated that ChatGPT has a liberal or far-left liberal bias in its responses.

AI is a tool.

It will be a reflection of its programmer and data. It is not conscious. It is a very fast and very accurate generative search engine. That’s it. You must program moral ethics into its data and responses, which is what we must do for the Biblical worldview. If not, our enemies will with their satanic “value systems.” You can have an AI that responds with Christian ethics and truth or one based on worldly “ethics” where anything goes.

You shouldn’t be afraid of Christians building AI, and you should be afraid of what will happen if we do not.

Here is what that looks like in practice. In the next few years, when all of your children and grandchildren are using this technology to access information, this is what the enemy’s AI will be telling them.

AI is no more “demonic” than the smartphone in your hand. It can be used for good, or it can be used for evil– depending on who is using it and who is building it. It’s the same with any tool: a hammer can build a house or be used to harm someone. A printing press can be used to print the Bible, or it can be used to print p*rn. Wicked people using a tool for evil does not make the tool itself inherently evil.

AI as a Tool for Dissident Christian Thinkers

The potential for counter-narrative truth operations by Christian dissidents using AI is unimaginable. Suddenly we can produce high-quality memes, images, and stories at an instant pace at no cost in a way that they will never be able to stop. Imagine the possibilities. We can produce high-quality Christian content in a way that has never been possible before for no cost.

When we were teenagers, my generation was “red-pilled” in places like 4chan. Many in the Gen X and Boomer generation were red-pilled by talk radio. Many, but not all, in the Zoomer generation, were red-pilled on social media. The next generation will either be red-pilled by AI or black-pilled by our enemies if we allow them to take ground and do not start building.

People like Sam Altman are on a quest to become gods and escape death because they know they will have to face the judgment of God for their sins. Rest assured; they will fail and face God’s righteous judgment. (Repent, Sam, it’s not too late!)

They want to make man a god, but ignore the reality of God making Himself a man in Jesus Christ. They want to defeat death while ignoring the reality of Christ doing just that, and through Him, so too can anyone who repents and believes.

We can leverage AI to introduce people to this Truth. A Truth that so many need to hear right now.

AI is nothing more than a program, and a program simply reflects the programmer.

So what will it be, Christian?

Everything in our world is about to be touched somewhere by AI and, in many ways, already is.

Would you rather this new tool be of the satanic or Christ-like?

If you are an engineer with experience in machine learning or AI and want to combat the wokeness of Open AI and others we invite you to reach out to us here: ai@gab.com

What Is A Soul Worth To GOD? by Chris Leeper

What Is a Soul Worth to GOD?

By Chris Leeper (Edited by Bob Headrick)

GOD never asked us to do anything HE hasn't already done for us.

What is a soul worth to GOD?

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.'" Matthew 13:44-46

We know that the above verses describe the value of CHRIST, HIS Kingdom, and salvation. However, let's look at this from a different angle.

What is FATHER GOD's pearl of great price? Is it not the lost? Those who have not yet been redeemed by the blood of the LAMB? FATHER gave HIS SON to purchase the treasure in the field. That treasure is you and every person who has not yet come to CHRIST.

HOPE is a call to take up the FATHER's passion for HIS lost children. Together, let's yoke ourselves to the plow with the FATHER in seeking to save the lost.
