Word For 4/18/2022

“…Choose you this day whom you will serve…” Joshua 24:15

“We are not born with habits; we have to form habits on the basis of the new Life GOD has put into us.”

Oswald Chambers

“Whatever You DISLIKE in another Person, TAKE CARE to CORRECT in Yourself!”

Matthew 7:3 “Why do You Stare at the Small Particle that is in Your Brother’s Eye,  but PAY NO ATTENTION to the Big Pole that is in Your OWN Eye?”

“See people through the eyes of GOD!”

Be Encouraged, Pastor Bob Harris

“But now GOD’s Righteousness apart from The Torah has been revealed…for all have sinned and fall short of The Glory of GOD. They are set Right as a Gift of His Grace, through the Redemption that is in Messiah YESHUA.” Romans 3:21-24

We have to choose Salvation in CHRIST JESUS! We have to choose to serve GOD, we have to choose our habits! Otherwise we continue to miss the mark of GOD’s Glory.

Are We Ready For The Day In Which We Live?

Are We Ready For The Day In Which We Live?

The Bible clearly teaches that all Christians are members of The Body of CHRIST and that He is The Head of The Body. The Body of CHRIST is One Body and should not be divided but we are divided, we are actually at war with one another in many areas. Ephesians 4; 1 Corinthians 12,13,14; James 4; 1 John 3,4,5.

Our individual dedication should not be to anything or anyone – only to JESUS!

When we serve denominations, organizations, ministries, people or anything else, we are not serving JESUS. Psalm 105:4; Matthew 6:33, Matthew 7.

Unity is where the blessings of GOD are! Psalm 133; Ephesians 4:1-16; Hebrews 10:19-25.

Today there are many divisions in The Church and it should not be so! We are called to be One Body of many parts, none of which are any less important than any other. If we believe what JESUS told the disciples, “Upon this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (on offence or defense).” Then we have to be unified, we cannot push back the gates of hell or resist them if we are not unified and we should be on offence but we are mostly on defense.

It seems that it would be the other way around but it is not: the Church is on offence where it is persecuted the most! The believers in countries where Christianity is suppressed because of political or religious persecution are the strongest. They practice their Faith in JESUS everyday just for being know as a Christian, yet you find many of them practicing their Faith publicly, preaching and teaching the Gospel and the Bible and caring for the poor and orphans. In the western nations where Christianity is accepted most Christians are closet Christians or holiday Christians. Few are involved in outreach ministries in their communities, few host home meetings of any kind that do not involve selling some product. Most do not support local ministries through tithes and offerings, pray regularly, read the Bible daily or support missionaries.

If you believe you are a Christian or want to be an active Christian then Seek GOD First!

Here are a few Scriptures that tell us what we should be doing to be a Christian, read them in the contest of their book and chapter: 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 55:1-11; Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 6:30-34, 11:25-26; John 14:1-4; Romans 12:1-2; Ecclesiastes 3:11; 1 Samuel 15:22-23; Mark 12:32-33; John 8:31-32, 14:6; Luke 9:26; Matthew 25:34,41; Ezekiel 18:25-32; Lamentations 3:33; 2 Peter 3-8-10

TONY’S TOP TEN 4/17/2022

1. What do you do when you fail God?

2. I cling to Lamentations 3:22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

3. I confess my failings, repent of my failings and depend on His every day mercies to keep me in right relationship with Him and begin worshipping Him and praising Him.

4. The moment we forget that Jesus is the Lord of our lives, we set ourselves up for failings.

5. I never take God’s mercies for granted, but I am sure glad they are there.

6. God’s grace keeps us from what we deserve; God’s mercy is the reason for God’s grace.

7. I can see it now, all of the condemnation in the stones in the hands of the men who brought the woman to Jesus caught in the act of adultery; I can hear it now, as Jesus says neither do I condemn thee; the sounds of the stones as they hit the ground; they are the sounds of “NO CONDEMNATION!”

8. Our relationship with God through Jesus Christ our Lord should be the greatest priority of our life and time.

9. There is not enough knowledge in all of the world to satisfy; but a relationship with Jesus is the most satisfying thing any person can ever have.

10. Have we truly forgotten that history is really His story?

Happy Resurrection Day!

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? My help comes from The LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

“It does not matter what evil or wrong may be in the way, He has said, ‘I will never leave you.’”

Oswald Chambers

“He is not here; for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where The LORD lay.” Matthew 28:6

He promised to never leave us and He has kept His promise by filling us with His SPIRIT.

“And Blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me.” Matthew 11:6

“The danger with us is that we want to water down the things that JESUS says and make them mean something in accordance with common sense; if it were only common sense, it was not worthwhile for Him to say it.”

Oswald Chambers

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and The LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6

There is only one thing that GOD wants – requires – from us: repentant obedience!

In exchange He gives us “…exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to The Power that works in us…” so that we cqn give “…Him Glory in The Church by CHRIST JESUS to all generations, FOREVER and EVER. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Names

Names

His:

“Therefore The LORD Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His Name IMMANUEL (GOD-with-us).” “For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His Name will be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.” “And Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His Name YESHUA (JESUS).” “…let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by The Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, Whom GOD raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the Stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the Chief Cornerstone. Nor is there Salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men by which we must be Saved.” “Therefore GOD also has highly exalted Him and given Him The Name which is above every name, that at The Name of JESUS every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the Glory of GOD The Father.” “Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He Who sat on him was called FAITHFUL and TRUE, and in Righteousness He Judges and Makes War. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many Crowns. He had a Name written that on one knew except Himself. And on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Luke 1:31; Acts 4:10-12; Philippians 2:9-11; Revelation 19:11-12, 16

Ours:

“Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.” “He who has an ear, let him hear what The SPIRIT says to The Churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” “He who overcomes,I will make him a pillar in the Temple of My GOD, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him The Name of My GOD and the name of the City of My GOD, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My GOD. And I will write on him My New Name. He who has an ear, let him heard what The SPIRIT says to The Churches.” “And there shall be no more curse, but The Thrown of GOD and of the LAMB shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His Name shall be written on their foreheads.”

Luke 10:20; Revelation 2:17, 3:12-13, 22:3-4

Confess

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But fear Him Who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell. Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I also will confess before My Father Who is in Heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I also will deny before My Father Who is in Heaven.” “But what does it say? ‘The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the Word of Faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth The LORD JESUS and believe in your heart that GOD has raised Him from the dead, you shall be Saved.’” “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

Matthew 10:28,32-33; Romans 10:8-9; Revelation 3:5

“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to GOD by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be Saved by His Life.” Romans 5:10

“The Atonement means that GOD can put me back into perfect Union with Himself, without a shadow between, through the death of JESUS CHRIST.”

Oswald Chambers

“The devil rejoiced on Friday, being totally unaware that Sunday was just around the corner – HALLELUJAH! The Comeback is Always Stronger than the Setback!”

Hebrews 12:2 “FIXING our EYES on JESUS, the Pioneer and Perfecter of FAITH. For the JOY (You & Me) set before HIM HE Endured the CROSS, Scorning its Shame, and SAT DOWN at the Right HAND of The Throne of GOD.”

“There is HOPE – JESUS DIED for Sinners just like You and Me!”

Be Encouraged, Pastor Bob Harris

“For GOD so Loved the world that He Gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever Believes in Him should not perish but have Everlasting Life. He did not Send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but the world Might be Saved” John 3:16-17

Salvation is a gift only if we take hold of it and apply it in our life!
