Are We Ready For The Day In Which We Live?

Are We Ready For The Day In Which We Live?

The Bible clearly teaches that all Christians are members of The Body of CHRIST and that He is The Head of The Body. The Body of CHRIST is One Body and should not be divided but we are divided, we are actually at war with one another in many areas. Ephesians 4; 1 Corinthians 12,13,14; James 4; 1 John 3,4,5.

Our individual dedication should not be to anything or anyone – only to JESUS!

When we serve denominations, organizations, ministries, people or anything else, we are not serving JESUS. Psalm 105:4; Matthew 6:33, Matthew 7.

Unity is where the blessings of GOD are! Psalm 133; Ephesians 4:1-16; Hebrews 10:19-25.

Today there are many divisions in The Church and it should not be so! We are called to be One Body of many parts, none of which are any less important than any other. If we believe what JESUS told the disciples, “Upon this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (on offence or defense).” Then we have to be unified, we cannot push back the gates of hell or resist them if we are not unified and we should be on offence but we are mostly on defense.

It seems that it would be the other way around but it is not: the Church is on offence where it is persecuted the most! The believers in countries where Christianity is suppressed because of political or religious persecution are the strongest. They practice their Faith in JESUS everyday just for being know as a Christian, yet you find many of them practicing their Faith publicly, preaching and teaching the Gospel and the Bible and caring for the poor and orphans. In the western nations where Christianity is accepted most Christians are closet Christians or holiday Christians. Few are involved in outreach ministries in their communities, few host home meetings of any kind that do not involve selling some product. Most do not support local ministries through tithes and offerings, pray regularly, read the Bible daily or support missionaries.

If you believe you are a Christian or want to be an active Christian then Seek GOD First!

Here are a few Scriptures that tell us what we should be doing to be a Christian, read them in the contest of their book and chapter: 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 55:1-11; Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 6:30-34, 11:25-26; John 14:1-4; Romans 12:1-2; Ecclesiastes 3:11; 1 Samuel 15:22-23; Mark 12:32-33; John 8:31-32, 14:6; Luke 9:26; Matthew 25:34,41; Ezekiel 18:25-32; Lamentations 3:33; 2 Peter 3-8-10
