“Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill The Law of CHRIST.” Galatians 6:2

How can we carry each other’s burdens and rest quietly before The LORD?

By resting quietly before The LORD is how we can carry one another’s burdens, because by the fleshly way we are overcome by our own burden’s and then overwhelmed by other’s burdens till we are totally frazzled and burned out.

But when we are quite in The LORD’s presence we can give Him our own burdens and the burdens of others. It’s not just praying; it’s releasing through Trust. Our Hope, our Trust, our Expectation is in GOD but if we continue to worry and fret about things after we have prayed then we have not left them with GOD to take care of.

JESUS said, “Come to Me all you who are struggling and burdened, and I Will Give You Rest. Take MY Yoke upon you and Learn from Me, because I Am Gentle and Humble in Heart, and you Will Find Rest For Your Souls. For My Yoke is Easy and My Burden is Light.” Matthew 11:28-30

As you know from reading the Gospels, JESUS often went off by Himself to spend time with His Father. Like JESUS we should get away and just rest in GOD’s Presence so that when we leave it we are no longer burdened by the issues in ours and other’s lives. When JESUS was alone with His Father He refreshed Himself in The Father’s Will so that He could stay focused on what He was supposed to be doing. That is why in the garden just hours before His crucifixion He was able to lay down His Will in the flesh and do The Father’s Will. When our will is the Father’s Will it is no longer a burden!
