How Many Distractions Do You Have?

 

When you pray do your thoughts wander?

When you read the Bible do your thoughts wander?

When you worship do your thoughts wander?

When you are quite before The LORD do your thoughts wander?

We are always thinking, but what we are thinking about and when we are thinking it are important.

 

Do we have a job?

Do we spend time surfing the web?

Do we spend time working around our home?

Do we spend time on our hobby?

Do we spend time visiting with family and friends?

We always have things to do, but what we do and when we do them is important.

 

None of the things above are bad of themselves, but we can make them bad by our desire and attitude. What is the solution to our relationship with GOD and the rest of our life?

 

First the thought that it is the rest of OUR LIFE!

If you are a Christian than you have been bought and paid for by The Blood of The LAMB! Ephesians 1:7

You are redeemed from a life in the world to a life in The Kingdom of GOD! Mark 10:45; Galatians 2:20

You are no longer your own, you belong to GOD! 1 Corinthians 6:20

 

GOD told us to being Him our first fruits. Leviticus 23:10; Romans 8:23

GOD told us to give Him the first ten percent of our production. Leviticus 27:30; Malachi 3:10

GOD told us to seek Him while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6-7

GOD told us to seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness First! Matthew 6:33-34

 

Everything we do must follow our time with The LORD, undisturbed by the fleshly needs and worldly demands. This takes discipline and discipline requires endurance and endurance is based on our passion. Romans 5:1-5; 2 Peter 1:5-11

 

Are you compelled to seek GOD First? 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

The answer to this question determines your walk with GOD in this life and your walk with GOD in the Eternal Life.
