The Resurrection Life!

 

John 11:25 “JESUS said to her, ‘I am The Resurrection and The Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.’” (23-27)

Acts 17:30-31 “Truly, these times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because he has appointed a Day on which He will Judge the world in Righteousness by The Man Whom He has Ordained. He has given assurance of all this by Raising Him from the dead.” (22-32)

Acts 26:8 “Why should it be thought incredible by you that GOD raises the dead?” (26:6-9)

Romans 6:5 “For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His Resurrection.” (1-14)

1 Corinthians 15:20-21 “But now CHRIST is Risen from the dead, and has become the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep (died). For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.” (1-58)

Philippians 3:10-11 “…that I may know Him and The Power of His Resurrection, and the fellowship of His Sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means I may attain  to (arrive at) the resurrection from the dead.” (3:1-11)

Hebrews 11:35 “Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.” (30-40)

Revelation 20:5 “But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. The is The First Resurrection. Blessed and Holy is he who has part in The First Resurrection…” (1-6)

 

What is the Resurrection Life?

JESUS said, “Do not think that I came to bring Peace on earth. I did not come to bring Peace but a Sword…And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me in not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 10:34-39

JESUS said He is “The Way and The Truth and The Life.” and “no one come to The Father except through ME.” John 14:6

JESUS said, “This is Eternal Life, that they may know You, The only True GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, Whom You have sent.” John 17:3

Paul said, “I, through the Law, died to the Law that I might Live to GOD. I have been crucified with CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST Lives in me; and the Life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in The Son of GOD, Who Loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:19-20

Paul said, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which CHRIST has made us Free, and be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1

Paul said, “Finally my brethren, rejoice in The LORD…But what things were gain for me, these I have counted loss for CHRIST…if, by any means, I may arrive at the resurrection from the dead.”  Philippians 3:1-11

The Gospels, the Epistles and Resurrection all teach us that after we are Born Again, we must stop living the life we used to live and start living the life that CHRIST has given us. We are to stop doing what we want and start do the Works of GOD Will on the earth as it is in Heaven.

This requires all Christians to follow The SPIRIT of GOD – The HOLY SPIRIT and to know and understand The Bible – GOD’s Word. In the beginning we only know what other people tell us about GOD and The Bible. But as we grow in our experience and Faith we must learn for our self what the Bible Teaches and we must listen to the voice of GOD’s SPIRIT Who will never contradict the Bible. That is why we must learn and understand The Bible.

There are many who do the Works of GOD’s Kingdom and have Faith but they are not doing what GOD Calls them to do. JESUS said that they are lawless and will be cast into the Lake of Fire; Matthew 7:21-23.

JESUS told us not to worry about food, clothing and shelter, but to seek GOD first and His Righteousness, then these things will be provided. He also told us not to worry about tomorrow for today has enough things to deal with; Matthew 6:25-34.

JESUS also told us that not only would we be persecuted for our Faith and Confession but that it was a Blessing and we should rejoice in it; Matthew 5:10-12; John 15:18-20, 16:1-4; Revelation 12:10-12.

Our Eternity hangs in the balance; it is not just about confessing our sin and asking GOD to Forgive us in JESUS Name (Romans 10:8-13); we must also change our mind set (repent: Matthew 3:1-3; Luke 13:1-5; Revelation 3:19-22) and start seeking GOD and doing the works of His Kingdom: Matthew 6:9-10, 33; . The Work that all Christians are called to do: Mark 16:14-18. And the Work that GOD calls us too specifically: Psalm 139:13-18; Romans 8:26-30; 2 Peter 1:10-11.
