:1 “The vision of Isaiah…” (Numbers 12:6; Genesis 31:10-13, 46:1-5)

 

:2-15 GOD’s Judgment against Israel!

:2 “Hear Heavens and give ear earth! For JEHOVAH has Spoken!”

:3 “The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib (manger or feed trough); Israel does not know, My people do not consider (understand).” (Exodus 23: Jeremiah 8:7-8, 9:3)

:4 GOD calls out their sin:

:5-6 “There is no soundness in it!”

:7-9 “Unless JEHOVAH of Hosts had left a remnant…”

:10-11 “Hear The word of JEHOVAH!” (1 Samuel 15:22-23; Hosea 6:1-6; Matthew 9:9-13, 12:1-8)

:12-15 “Who has required this from your hand?” (Exodus 23:14-19; Matthew 15:7-9 [Isaiah 29:13]; Colossians 2:8-10, 1819; Proverbs 1:20-33)

:16-31 There Is Hope!

:16-19 “Come now let us Reason together…” (Jeremiah 4:14; James 1:21-27, 4:7-10; Revelation 7:9-14; Isaiah 55:1-7)

:20 “For The mouth of JEHOVAH has spoken!” (Titus 1:1-3)

:21-23 “How the faithful City has become unfaithful!” (Jeremiah 2:20-22, 6:27-30; Proverbs 29:24)

:24-30 “Therefore JEHOVAH says, JEHOVAH of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel.” (Job 31:1-4; Deuteronomy 28:63; Malichi:1-3; Zechariah 8:1-3; Jeremiah 29:11-13)

:31 “The Work of it as a Spark.” Matthew 3:11-12; Hebrews12:28-29 [Exodus 24:17]; 2 Peter 3:1-13)
