Psalm 91 and Sin

The above video is very powerful;
it was shared with me and I shared it with several people. But, many Christians,
including myself have not always experienced this type of protection and I want
to address that.
Notice in the video the woman, she
is reading her Bible, this is a reflection of the teachings of JESUS; He said
in John 8:31-32 that if His Word abides in us we will be His disciple and we
will know The Truth and The Truth will set us Free.
What is The Truth that sets us
Free? John 15 is the Truth that we have to abide in JESUS to be Productive in
The Father’s Kingdom. In Mark 4:21-32 JESUS tells us that we have to pay
attention to what we hear, why? Because it affects how we think and believe and
this affects how we experience life and GOD’s Kingdom in the earth. In Mark 8:34-38
JESUS tells us that we have to lay down our Life and take up our cross to
follow Him. He tells us we have to lose (surrender) our Life to Him and The
Gospel (The Work of The Kingdom) to be Saved.
In Matthew 5:27-29 JESUS tells us
that what we look at can cause us to sin. He says if we cannot control what we
look at, which influences our soul, it is better to pluck out our eye and enter
Eternity maimed than hell whole. In Matthew 6:22-24 JESUS tells us that we have
to guard our eyes, if we look on sin it will darken our soul, He says we cannot
serve two masters, we have to serve Him or we will serve the devil.
As I said above I have experienced
not receiving the protection of GOD at times in my life and it was always when
I was harboring (holding on to) sin in my Life. This is why we are told to
confess our sins to one another (James 5:15-16), so that they are not hidden
and festering; we bring them into the Light so that we can overcome them.
(Matthew 5:23-26, 18:15-20) John says in 1 John 1:5-10 and 2:1-2 that if we
have sin we must confess it and JESUS
will forgive us.
If we want the protection of Psalm
91 and to live in the armor of GOD (Ephesians 6:10-20) we have to “Seek first
The Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness” daily!
Remember every Promise has a
Requirement and every Commandment has a Promise!
