TONY’S TOP TEN
1. I think one thing we need to grasp more fully is, that Jesus broke the
power of sin but did not take away the presence of sin.
2. Being saved was not to take us out of this sinful world; but to keep us
in the midst of this sinful world as an example of what God can do for anyone
who turns to Him.
3. Our purpose for remaining in this sinful world is to present the same
Jesus to the sinful world that changed our lives in the hopes that their lives
will be changed by the same Jesus, too.
4. Living in a sinful world as a Christian tests our loyalty to Jesus
Christ and the sinful world is paying attention.
5. The world is not looking to hear what they have heard before, but a
demonstration, an action example of what they haven’t seen before.
6. There is a testimony to the sinful world more powerful than words and it
is the one they are looking to see.
7. I am not against telling people you are a Christian, but I have seen
more people come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord through ministering the love
of Jesus to their lives.
8. Each of us, as Christians, need to be honest with ourselves before
witnessing to others about Jesus, because they see in your life whether the
things you are saying are true or not.
9. You just cannot witness to sinners and act like one too.
10. In giving a
testimony of Christ, be sure your testimony is more about what He has done in
your life rather than glorifying your past sins, most already know about your
past sins, what they need to hear is more about Jesus not you.
