Writing The Days of Our Life

Writing The Days of Our Life!

I heard a TV Pastor giving a sermon called “This is Not Your Last Chapter” he said he felt like calling it “Writing Your Next Chapter” and he quoted Psalm 45:1 “My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” He said that GOD is writing your next chapter.

The problem is that in Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my substance, being ye unformed. And in Your Book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” When GOD wrote the chapters of our life we were still in our mother’s womb, this is The Book of Life!

In Revelation 20:12-14 it says, “And I saw the dead, small and great standing before GOD, and books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the books...And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

GOD is the writer of the books, especially the Book of Life (also called The Lamb’s Book of Life)

When we are conceived GOD forms us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 193:13-18) and gives us a name (Revelation 2:17), a calling (Galatians 1:15-16) and a gift (1 Corinthians 7:7) so that we can serve Him in the earth and in Heaven. He writes out the days of our life before we are born (This is The Book of Life, Luke 10:17-20), but we do not even know or understand Him when we are born. Some find GOD and begin the process of growing into GOD’s purpose for their life and therefore fulfill what GOD wrote for their life to be (this is why some can be born again at a young age). But most do not; even most Christians do not fulfill GOD’s written purpose for their life. That is why the other books are written, the ones we will be judged out of are the books that record how we live our life (our works) rather than how GOD wrote out the days of our life, Revelation 3:4-5, 20:13-15.

So, in response to the TV Pastor’s message, the only chapters we are writing in Heaven’s books are the chapters of our disobedience because GOD wrote out the chapters of our life according to His Will before we were born. Psalm 45:1 is not about the next chapter of our life, it is about the Psalmists heart overflowing toward GOD and his inability to keep it to himself.

In Isaiah 55:6-7, GOD tells us to seek Him while He can be found! If you want to get back in the chapter that GOD wrote for your life you have to seek Him, you have to lay down your life and take up your cross and follow JESUS, Mark 8:34-38.
