“So from now on, we do not look at anyone from a worldly viewpoint. Even if we once regarded The Messiah from a worldly viewpoint, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is united with The Messiah, he is a new creation – the old has passed; look, what has come is fresh and new! And it is all from GOD, Who through The Messiah has reconciled us to Himself and has given us the work of reconciliation, which is that GOD in The Messiah was reconciling mankind to Himself. Not counting their sins against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore we are ambassadors of The Messiah; in effect, GOD is making His appeal through us. What we do is appeal on behalf of The Messiah, ‘Be reconciled to GOD! GOD made this sinless Man be a sin offering on our behalf, so that in union with Him we might fully share in GOD’s Righteousness.’” 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 CJB

 

There is a lot of talk about the end times Revelation, the rapture, the Great Tribulation and the thousand year reign of CHRIST, but if that is not wrapped up in the presentation of The Gospel it is useless.

 

As Christians all we really need to know is to seek GOD through His SPIRIT and His Word, keep His commands, love everyone as we love ourself and watch for His return; but for the lost they need to hear The Gospel of JESUS CHRIST, for without salvation the message of the end times is wasted.

 

When I came home from the Navy in the summer of 1974 I was not yet a Christian, my sister and her boyfriend were not Christians, but they gave me a copy of “The Late Great Planet Earth” by Hal Lindsey. They told me they believed it was true, I started the book but never finished it. In December of 1974 I became a Christian, but it had nothing to do with that book. My sister and her boyfriend broke up a year or so later and he died of cancer in the early eighties. My sister is still not a Christian. Many non Christians believe there is a GOD and they believe the message about the Great Tribulation and the rapture, some even go to Church; but if they do not hear the message of Salvation through JESUS CHRIST believing in GOD and the message of the Great Tribulation and the rapture will not help them at all.
