Today is my 47th Born Again Birthday, it is also my 70th natural birthday.
Forty seven years ago in Spring Valley (Jamul), Calif. I went to church where my Aunt Millie Cosner (I was living with her family) went because it was my birthday. I believed there was a GOD but I did not know anything about Him, the only thing I knew about JESUS was the He had twelve Apostles, I did not know what that meant, I had never heard of GOD’s HOLY SPIRIT. I had read the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs that I was given in boot camp while on my second cruise in the Navy, but nothing stood out to me or spoke to me. Growing up I had been to church four times and I went to two religious services while in boot camp, but I had never encountered GOD.
The day of my salvation I went to Fair Oaks Chapel pastured by George Runyan, with my twelve year old cousin, Michelle Cosner. I did not know anyone else there, she went to her Sunday School class, when she returned for the main service she sat with her friends. Through the Sunday School service, the worship service and the main service and ministry time I did not learn a thing; a couple of people had introduced themselves to me and welcomed me. But, when I left that Sunday service I knew that I belonged there, GOD had birthed in my heart a desire to know Him.

That is my experience as a Christian and as a Follower of JESUS, twenty years as a Christian, sixteen years of prideful rebellion, eleven years of being a Follower of JESUS.
