Chapters 1 and 2 are about GOD using the devil to test Job. The devil thinks he can bring tribulation on Job and get him to curse and reject GOD.

 

Chapters 3 through 31 are about Job claiming his righteousness and the unjustness of his treatment by GOD. Job’s 3 “friends” spend their days refuting Job’s righteousness and innocence because he must be a sinner to have GOD judging him so harshly.

 

Chapters 32 through 37 Elihu, a young man, a servant of GOD who has been listening, spoke to Job because Job was justifying himself rather than GOD and Job’s friends had no answer just judgments against Job.

 

Chapters 38 through 41 GOD answers Job with a question, “Who do you think you are? What have you done in comparison to Me?” If you want to know something about GOD that you do not know study these 4 chapters!

 

Chapter 42 Job recognizes his sin is his pride and repents, GOD restores everything to him double. GOD corrects Job’s three friends, and they repent, and all Job’s family and acquaintances come and comfort Job and rejoice with him.

 

 

Conclusion

 

GOD is warning us not to be too confident in our righteousness, The Bible teaches us that pride comes before a fall, to be humble and not judgmental. These are basic truths that many Christians forget.

 

Job could not understand why he was suffering so much calamity when he was such a righteousness man. Instead of seeking GOD humbly and thanking GOD that he and his wife were still alive. He complained to GOD and His friends about how it was so unjust, to the point that his wife told him to “curse GOD and die.”

 

While Job’s friends told some truths about GOD, they could not believe that Job had not sinned to cause such a calamity in his life. In the Church there is a propensity to judge other Christians who are going through hard times, be very careful of this sin.

 

The young Elihu seemed to have a better relationship with GOD than the other men in this story. Many Christians start out enthusiastic in their walk with GOD as Believers in JESUS. But the cares of the world that we all have to deal with and the religious spirit that hovers over the Church can soon wear down and transform humble obedient Believers into monotonous, judgmental, religious spouters of self-righteous criticism; this is sin.

 

JESUS told us that we would be persecuted, “Blessed are you when men persecute you for My Name’s sake…” and that we would have trials and tribulation; all The Apostles who wrote letters to the Church told us this was for our good, it would cause us to grow in Faith, endurance, and patience, all good characteristics.

 

JESUS told us to Love GOD, Love our neighbors, Love each other, Love the lost and to Love our enemies. Paul told us that no matter what we have in our life if we do not have Love, it means nothing. All we have is Faith, Hope and Love and Love is the greatest of these.

 

Seek first The Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness! Our righteousness comes from GOD through JESUS, when we stop obeying GOD and doing what He commands us then we are walking outside of the Righteousness that comes from JESUS.

The harmonizing of the events of The Book of Revelation of JESUS CHRIST that He gave to His servant John to give to His Body, The Church.

 

 

 

 

 

Introduction: 

In reading and studying the Bible but especially the book of The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST you have to not think of GOD or His Eternal Kingdom as linear! GOD is not restricted by time He is the creator of time, and His Eternal Kingdom does not operate according to our understanding and concepts of time. The prophesies about CHRIST were not given to humanity linearly nor were they fulfilled in the order they were given. The four Gospels, the story of the life of JESUS are not written linearly (or the exact order of the events and teachings of His life) which confuses some people when they compare them to each other. John 20:30-31; 21:24-25

As I have studied the Bible and Revelation in my forty-six years as a Christian, I have changed my mind or understanding of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation and CHRIST’s Millennial Reign from Jerusalem several times. As a young Christian I accepted what I was taught in Church and Bible College, but as I read, studied, and meditated on the Bible over the years my understanding changed. The reason for this book is to put in order as I understand them the events of Revelation. Others have different understandings of the book of Revelation – I am not saying I am right and they are wrong. As JESUS told us, none of us know (Acts1:6-7), we can only study the signs of the time we live in and watch for His return. Matthew 24:1-14,32-35; Luke 21:29-36; John 16:1; Mark 13.

While I believe that I am fairly accurate in my harmony of the events of revelation that is not what is important. What is important is that we each know the signs of the times in which we live as given to us by CHRIST; to keep an armed watch against the world and lies of our adversary the devil and to be expectant and prepared for CHRIST’s return at any moment. Chapter 1

Overview of Revelation

Chapter 1 is the introduction of and reason for the Revelation of JESUS CHRIST that is given to John. Verse 3, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the Words of this prophesy and keep those things that are written in it; for the time is near.” John sees JESUS and receives understanding of the Seven Golden Lampstands and the seven stars: the seven stars are the angels of the seven Churches in Asia; The Seven Golden Lampstands are the seven Churches in Asia 

Chapters 2 and 3 are the letters from CHRIST to the seven Churches in Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.

Chapter 4 John is called into Heaven to receive CHRIST’s revelation of “things that must take place after this.” He sees CHRIST enthroned the twenty-four Elders enthroned around Him and the four living creatures, all who worship CHRIST.

Chapter 5 is the Revelation of the scroll with seven seals that only The LAMB that was slain and is alive is worthy to open. So the four living creatures and the twenty-four Elders worshiped Him with harps and bowls of incense which are the prayers of the Saints, along with tens of thousands of angels.

Chapter 6 is the opening of the first six seals: seal 1 is the rider of the white horse with a crown and a bow who conquers; seal 2 is the rider of the red horse with a sword who takes peace from the earth and causes people to kill each other; seal 3 is the rider of the black horse with a pair of scales who causes inflation; seal 4 is the rider of the pallid horse named death who is followed by hell, they kill one-fourth of humanity by plagues, famine, war and by wild animals; seal 5 is the martyrs put to death for their witness and proclaiming The Word; seal 6 is a great earthquake, the sun turned black and the moon blood red, stars fall from heaven to the earth and the sky recedes like a scroll rolled up, mountains and islands are moved and all peoples call out to be hidden from The LAMB’s wrath.

Chapter 7 is about the one hundred and forty-four thousand (See 14:1-5) virgin Jewish men; twelve thousand each from the tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin; who are sealed with the Mark of GOD on their foreheads. (See Addendum 2)

Chapters 8-9 is the seventh seal opened and the first six trumpet judgments are sounded and three woes are announced: seal 7 is silence in Heaven, seven angels given seven trumpets, the smoke of incense and the prayers of the Saints goes up before GOD, fire from the Altar is thrown to the earth, there is an earthquake, peals of thunder and lightning; trumpet 1 is hail, fire and blood thrown to the earth and a third of the earth, a third of the trees and all the green grass are burned up; trumpet 2 is a blazing mountain is thrown into the sea and a third of the sea is turned into blood, a third of the sea creatures die and a third of the ships are destroyed; trumpet 3 is a blazing star falls from the sky onto a third of the rivers and onto the springs of water, they become bitter and many people die; trumpet 4 is a third of the sun, moon and stars are darkened, an eagle cries out a warning of three woes to come; trumpet 5 is a star fallen from heaven to the earth is given the key to the abyss, when it is opened smoke and locusts with power like a scorpion are loosed on the earth, they are told not to harm any plants only people, they cause pain but not death for five months, that is the first woe; trumpet 6 is four angels that have been bound at the river Euphrates are loosed with a large cavalry to kill one third of humanity; those still alive do not turn from their sins.

Chapter 10 is about a mighty angel who had a small book open in his hand, he stood on the land and on the sea and cried with a loud voice; he swore by GOD that there should be no more delay but that in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel the Mystery of GOD would be finished as GOD had declared to His servants the prophets. When the mighty angel cried out with a loud voice as when a lion roars, John heard the voices of seven thunders but also heard a voice from Heaven telling him to seal up the Words of the seven thunders and not to write them (Will these be revealed only when the seventh trumpet sounds?). Then John was told to take the small book and eat it; that it would be sweet in his mouth but bitter in his stomach. Then he was told he “must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.” What was the book?

Chapter 11:1-14 is about the Two Witnesses who prophesy for the second three and a half years of the Great Tribulation? “Then I was given a measuring rod and the angel stood saying, ‘Rise and measure the Temple of GOD, The Altar and those who worship there. But leave out the Court, which is outside the Temple, do not measure it, for it is given to the Gentiles. They will tread The Holy City underfoot for forty-two months (first 3 ½ years).  I will give power to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days (second 3 ½ years) clothed in sackcloth’” this is the second woe. Verses 15-19 is the sounding of trumpet 7: there was worship of GOD in Heaven, The Temple in Heaven is opened, and The Ark is seen, there are peals of thunder and lightning, violent hail and an earthquake.

Chapter 12 is a review of Israel and CHRIST, the devil’s defeat in his war against GOD in Heaven; and his war against GOD’s servants on the earth; with the promise that we can overcome the devil by The Blood of The LAMB, the word of our testimony and not loving our life over death.

Chapter 13 reveals the anti-christ (beast), the false prophet, the image of the anti-christ and the mark of the anti-christ that condemns all who accept it. The false prophet gives life to the image of the anti-christ and cause all rich and poor, small, and great to receive a mark of the name of the anti-christ or his number on their forehead or right hand. Without the mark no one can buy or sell anything. “Here is wisdom, let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: his number is 666.” (Humanity was created on the sixth day, humanity was Redeemed on the sixth day, humanity has been give dominion over the earth for six millennium.)

Chapter 14:1-5 has more information about the one hundred forty-four thousand who have the Name of The Father written on their foreheads. Verses 6-13 are about three angels making proclamations: first is the everlasting Gospel being preached to everyone living on the earth; second is the fall of Babylon; third is a warning against taking the mark of the beast. Verses 14-20 are the reaping of the earth of the servants of GOD by CHRIST and of the wicked by an angel. “Then I looked and saw a white cloud and on the cloud sat One like The Son of Man, He had on a Golden Crown and in His hand a sharp sickle. Another angel came out of The Temple, crying with a loud voice to The One sitting on the cloud, ‘Thrust in Your sickle and reap for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ Then He Who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle and reaped the earth (the rapture). Then another angel came out of the Temple in Heaven having a sharp sickle; another angel who had power over fire came out from the altar and cried with a loud voice to the angel with the sharp sickle, ‘Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth for her grapes are fully ripe.’ So the angel thrust in his sickle and gathered the vine of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of GOD; and the winepress was trampled outside the city and blood came out of the winepress up to the horse’s bridles, for one hundred and eighty four miles. (Battle of Armageddon)”

Chapter 15 is the prelude to the bowl judgments; “…the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of GOD is complete.” The Sea of glass and fire where those who have overcome the beast, his image, his name and the number of his name; having harps worship GOD. The Temple of The Tabernacle of The Testimony in Heaven is opened and the seven angels of the seven last plagues come out and are given the plagues of the wrath of GOD. “The Temple was filled with the smoke of GOD’s Glory and Power, and no one could enter the Temple until the plagues were completed.”

Chapter 16 is the seven bowl judgments poured out. “Then I heard a loud voice from The Temple say to the seven angels, ‘Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of GOD on the earth.’”

Bowl 1 is disgusting painful sores on all who worship the anti-christ and have his mark; bowl 2 is the sea becomes like the blood of a dead person and every living thing in it dies; bowl 3 is all the rivers and springs are turned to blood, the angel of the waters declares, “They deserve it.”; bowl 4 is the sun is permitted to burn people with fire and the people do not repent; bowl 5 is the kingdom of the anti-christ grows dark and people gnaw their tongues because of the pain but they do not repent; bowl 6 is the river Euphrates is dried up allowing the armies of the earth to gather at Armageddon driven by evil spirits that come out of the mouth of satan, the anti-christ and the false prophet; bowl 7 is a voice from Heaven declaring, “It is done!”, flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and a massive earthquake, the Great City is divided into thirds, the cities of the nations fall, Babylon is remembered by GOD’s raging fury, the islands and mountains flee, seventy pound hail fall on people and the people curse GOD.

Chapter 17:1-19:4 is about the Great Harlot Babylon, and the scarlet beast. Her judgment and those of the world who serve and worship her. Babylon is hated, burned and judged by GOD, all the people of the world mourn her destruction, but the Saints and The Heavenly Host rejoice over her judgment.

Chapter 19:5-21 is the announcement of the Marriage of the LAMB, the revelation to the world of JESUS CHRIST as The LORD of Lords and KING of Kings with the armies of Heaven; and the battle of Armageddon. “Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword with which He strikes the nations, for He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron (see 20:4-6). He Himself treads the winepress with the fierceness of GOD Almighty’s wrath (see 14:17-20). He has His Name written on His robe and on His thigh, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” (See 16:12-16).

Chapter 20 is when the devil is chained in the bottomless pit for one thousand years while CHRIST Reigns over the earth from Jerusalem with those who were “beheaded for their witness to JESUS and to The Word of GOD, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.” (This is during the Tribulation) Then after the thousand years satan is loosed and drums up a vast army; of those who still do not want to serve GOD or CHIRST during His thousand reign; for one final battle by attacking Jerusalem and the camp of The Saints.  The Scriptures are clear that CHRIST will reign over the nations of the world for one thousand years with a rod of iron. Why a rod of iron? Not everyone who remains alive after the battle of Armageddon is a Believer. After this last great battle there is the Great White Throne Judgment where all the dead are judged by the books and those not found in The LAMB’s Book of Life are cast into eternal torment in the lake of fire with death and hell; where the anti-christ, the false prophet and the devil already are.

Chapter 21:1-22:5 is about the New Heaven (there is no sun or moon), the New Earth (there are no seas), the New Jerusalem, the River of Life and the Tree of Life, The Father and The Son are the Light.

Chapter 22:6-21 is a reminder to obey GOD, watch and be ready for CHRIST’s return by obeying GOD’s Word “For I testify to everyone who hears the Words of the Prophesy of This Book: If anyone adds to these things GOD will add to him the plagues that are written in This Book. If anyone takes away from the Words of This Book of Prophesy, GOD will take his name from the Book of Life, from The Holy City and from the things that are written in This Book.” JESUS says, “Truly, I Am coming quickly.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 2

Seals, Trumpets, Proclamations, Woes, Thunders, Bowls,

The Seven Seals of The Scroll 

First Seal – 6:1-2 “Now I saw when The LAMB opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, ‘Come and see.’ And I looked and behold a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” This has been happening since the beginning of sin (Adam’s disobedience). Some make a deal about the fact that the rider has a bow, and arrows are not mentioned; I believe that when a bow is given as a weapon it always includes arrows. 

Second Seal – 6:3-4 “When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, ‘Come and see.’ Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” Again this has been happening since the first sin. 

Third Seal – 6:5-6 “When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘a quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” There have always been droughts, wars, floods, and government corruption since the flood, that have and continue to cause famine throughout the world.

Fourth Seal – 6:7-8 “When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was death, and hades followed with him. And power was given them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” This has been going on since the first sin, yet it could be enhanced during the Great Tribulation.

The effects of the first four seals have been present in the world since Adam’s sin!

Fifth Seal – 6:9-11 “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under The Altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of GOD and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice saying, ‘How long, O LORD, Holy and True, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ Then a white robe was given to each one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” People have been killed for their faith and testimony since the fall of man. It has increased since the disciples started proclaiming CHRIST’s Resurrection.

Sixth Seal – 6:12-17 “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind…’ For The Great Day of His Wrath has come, and who is able to stand.’” This is during the time of the reaping in 14:14-20, during the seventh seal, trumpet, and bowl.

Seventh Seal – 8:1-6 “When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before GOD and to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel having a golden censor came and stood at the Altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the Saints upon the Golden Altar which was before The Throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the Saints, ascended before GOD from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censor, filled it with fire from the Altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. So, the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.”

 

The Seven Trumpets

First Trumpet – 8:6-7 “So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded. And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up and all green grass was burned up.”

Second Trumpet – 8:8-9 “Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.”

Third Trumpet – 8:10 “Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.”

Fourth Trumpet – 8:12-13 “Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine and likewise the night. And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of Heaven, saying with a loud voice, ‘Woe, Woe, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!’”

Fifth Trumpet and First Woe – 9:1-12 “Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit. Then out of the pit locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of GOD on their foreheads (Ephesians 1:11-14). And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of the scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die and death will flee from them. The shape of the locusts was like horses made ready for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like a woman’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sounds of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.” 

Sixth Trumpet – 9:13-21; 11:14 “Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the Golden Altar which is before GOD, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels that are bound at the great river Euphrates.’ So the four angels who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of humanity. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million. I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses of the vision those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of humanity was killed–by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For the power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. But the rest of humanity who were not killed by these plagues; did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. The second woe is past, behold, the third woe is coming quickly.”

Seventh Trumpet – 11:15-19 “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in Heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our LORD and of His CHRIST, and He shall reign forever and ever!’ And the twenty-four elders who sit before GOD on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped GOD, saying: ‘We give You thanks, O LORD GOD Almighty’ The One who is and who was and who is to come. Because you have taken Your Great Power and Reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged. And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints; and those who fear Your Name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth. Then The Temple of GOD was opened in Heaven, and  the Ark of His Covenant was seen in His Temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.”

 

 The Three Proclamations:

In Chapter 14 between the presentation of the One Hundred Forty Four Thousand sealed with the Mark of GOD and the final reaping of the fruit of the earth there are three proclamations, these proclamations take place during the seventh trumpet the sixth seal and the sixth bowl. In fact all of chapter 14 takes place during the seventh trumpet event.

First proclamation – 14:6-7 “Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of Heaven, having the everlasting Gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth–to every nation, tribe, tongue and people–saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear GOD and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come, and worship Him who has made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.’”

Second proclamation – 14:8 “And another angel followed, saying, ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.’” (See 17:1-19:4)

Third proclamation – 14:9-12 “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, ‘If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of GOD, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of The LAMB. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the Saints; here are those who keep the commandments of GOD and the faith of JESUS.’” (See 20:11-14)

 

The Three Woes 

Chapter 8:12-13 is the fourth trumpet and the announcement that there are three woes coming. “And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, ‘Woe, Woe, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!’”

Chapter 9:1-12 is the fifth trumpet which is the first Woe.

Chapter 9:13-21 is the sixth trumpet and chapter 11:1-14 are the two witnesses; these are the second Woe.

Chapter 11:15-18 and chapters 15-19 are the seventh trumpet which is the third woe.

 

The Seven Thunders

Chapter 10:1-4 there are seven thunders that John is not allowed to write down their utterance. "Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, 'Seal up the things the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them down.'"

 

The Seven Bowls

First Bowl – 16:1-2 “Then I heard a loud voice from the Temple saying to the seven angels, ‘Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of GOD on the earth.’ So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image.”

Second Bowl – 16:3 “Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man, and every living creature in the sea died.”

Third Bowl – 16:4-7 “Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood, and I heard the angel of the waters saying: ‘You are Righteous oh LORD, The One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their due.’ And I heard another from the Altar saying, ‘Even so, LORD GOD Almighty, True and Righteous are Your judgments.’”

Fourth Bowl – 16:8-9 “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of GOD who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.”

Fifth Bowl – 16:10-11 “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed The GOD of Heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds.”

Sixth Bowl – 16:12-16 “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of GOD Almighty. ‘Behold, I Am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.’ And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” The frogs are not visible to humanity, they are the demonically empowered words that are spoken by the dragon, the anti-christ and the false prophet.

Seventh Bowl – 16:17-21 “Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Temple of Heaven, from The Throne, saying, ‘It is done!’ and there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake, as had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before GOD, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed GOD because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.” (The sixth seal, seventh trumpet and seventh bowl all sound alike.)

 

Chapter 3

The Letters

“To the angel of the Church in Ephesus write: He who holds the seven Stars in His right hand and who walks in the midst of the seven Golden Lampstands says; ‘I know your work, your labor your patience and that you cannot bear those who are evil. You have tested those who claim to be apostles and found them to be liars, you have persevered, have patience, and have labored for My Name’s sake and you have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you: you have left your first Love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, repent and do the first works or else I will come to you quickly and remove your Lampstand from its place – unless you repent. Yet, this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans which I also hate. He who has an ear, let him hear what The SPIRIT says to the Churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from The Tree of Life which is in the midst of The Paradise of GOD.’”

“To the angel of the Church in Smyrna write: ‘These things,’ says The First and The Last, Who was dead and came to Life: ‘I know your works, tribulation and poverty (but you are rich). I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of satan. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer, indeed the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death and I will give you the Crown of Life. He who has an ear let him hear what The SPIRIT says to the Churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.’”

“To the angel of the Church in Pergamos write: ‘These things’, says He Who has The sharp two edged Sword: ‘I know your works and where you dwell, where satan’s throne is, and you hold fast to My Name. You did not deny My faith even in the days when Antipas who was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where satan lives. But I have a few things against you; because you have there those who hold to the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the Children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which I hate. Repent or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the Sword of My mouth. He who has an ear let him hear what The SPIRIT says to the Churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. I will give him a white stone with a new name written on it which no one knows except him who receives it.’”

“To the angel of the Church in Thyatira write: ‘These things,’ says the Son of GOD who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like fine brass. ‘I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation unless they repent of their deed. I will kill her children with death and all the Churches shall know that I Am He Who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your works. Now to you I say and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of satan, as they say, “I will put on you no other burden” but hold fast what you have until I come. He who overcomes and keeps My Works until The End, to him I will give power over the nations. “He shall rule with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels” – I also have received from My Father and I will give him the morning star. He who has an ear let him hear what the SPIRIT says to the Churches.’”

“To the angel of the Church in Sardis write: ‘These things,’ says He Who has the seven Spirits of GOD and the seven Stars. ‘I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before GOD. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names, even in Sardis, who have not defiled their garments they shall walk with Me in white for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments and I will not blot out his name from The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear let him hear what The SPIRIT says to the Churches.’”

“To the angel of the Church in Philadelphia write: ‘These things,’ says He Who is Holy, He Who is True, He Who has the key of David, He Who opens and on one shuts and He Who shuts and no one opens; ‘I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie – indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet and to know that I have Loved you. Because you have kept My Command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which will come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast to what you have so that no one may take your crown. He who over comes I will make him a pillar in the Temple of My GOD, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the Name of My GOD and the name of The City of My GOD, The New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My GOD; and I will write on him My New Name. He who has an ear let him hear what The SPIRIT is saying to the Churches.’” 

“To the angel of the Church in Laodicea write: ‘These things,’ says The Amen, The Faithful and True Witness, The Beginning of the creation of GOD; ‘I know your works, that you are neither cold or hot, I wish you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, neither cold or hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. You say “I am rich, have become wealthy and have need of nothing”–you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked–I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich and purchase white garments that you may be clothed that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve so that you can see. As many as I Love I rebuke and chasten, therefore be zealous and repent. Look, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and have fellowship with them. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My Throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne. Chapter 4

Harmony of Revelation

The Beginning

 

“In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; darkness was on the face of the deep. The SPIRIT of GOD was hovering over the face of the waters. Then GOD said, ‘Let there be Light!’ and there was light. In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with GOD and The Word was GOD. He was in the beginning with GOD. All Things were created by Him and without Him nothing was made that exists. In Him was Life and the Life is the light of humanity.

A great sign appeared in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of Heaven and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as He was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Her Child was caught up to GOD and His Throne.

War broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought but they could not prevail and there was no place for them in Heaven any longer. So the great dragon, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him.

Then a loud voice in Heaven said, ‘Now salvation and strength and The Kingdom of our GOD and the power of His CHRIST have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our GOD day and night has been cast down. They overcome him by the Blood of The Lamb, by the word of their testimony and they do not love their lives more than death. Therefore rejoice you Heavens and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath because he knows he has a short time.’

Now when the devil saw that he had been cast to the earth he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness to her place prepared for her where she is nourished one thousand two hundred and sixty days from the presence of the serpent. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood, but the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowed up the flood. The dragon was enraged with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her offspring who keep the commandments of GOD and have the testimony of JESUS CHRIST.”

 

 

The Seals: The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse

“I watched as The LAMB broke the first of the seven seals and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a thundering voice, ‘Go!’ I looked and there in front of me was a white horse, its rider had a bow and was given a crown; he rode off as a conqueror to conquer.

When He broke the second seal I heard the second living creature say, ‘Go!’ A red horse went out and its rider was given a great sword and was given the power to take peace away from the earth and make people kill each other.

When He broke the third seal I heard the third living creature say, ‘Go!’ There in front of me was a black horse and its rider held in his hand a pair of scales. Then a voice from among the four living creatures said, ‘Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages! Six pounds of barley for the same price! But don’t damage the oil or the wine.’”

When He broke the fourth seal I heard the fourth living creature say, ‘Go!’ There was a pallid, sickly looking horse whose rider’s name was death and hell followed close behind him. They were given authority to kill one quarter of the world by war, by famine, by plagues and by the wild animals of the earth.

 

The Revelation

The revelation of JESUS CHRIST; which GOD gave Him to give to His servant John Ben-Zebedee; by His angel. John bore witness to The Word of GOD and to The Testimony of JESUS CHRIST, to everything that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and hears the Words of This Prophecy and keeps them for the time is near.

“John, to the seven Churches that are in Asia: Grace and Peace to you from Him Who is, Who was and Who is to come and from the Seven Spirits who are before His Throne; and from JESUS CHRIST, The Faithful Witness, The Firstborn from the dead and The Ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who Loved us and washed us from our sins in His Own Blood and has made us kings and priests to His GOD and Father, to Him be Glory and Dominion forever and ever. Amen! Behold He is coming, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him, all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen!”

“I Am The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End,” says The LORD, “Who is, Who was and Who is to come, The Almighty!”

“I, John, your brother and companion in the tribulation, The Kingdom, and the patience of JESUS CHRIST; was on the island of Patmos for The Word of GOD and for The Testimony of JESUS CHRIST. I was in The SPIRIT on The LORD’s Day and I heard a loud voice, like a trumpet, behind me, saying, ‘I Am The Alpha and The Omega, The First and The Last; what you see write in a book and sent it to the seven Churches which are in Asia, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.’

Then I turned to see the voice that spoke to me, I saw seven Golden Lampstands and in the midst of them One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded around the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like fine brass refined in a furnace and His voice as the sound of many waters. He had seven Stars in His right hand, out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead, but He laid His right hand on me, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, I Am The First and The Last, I Am He Who lives and was dead; behold I Am alive forevermore! Amen! I have the keys of death and hell. Write the things which you have seen, the things that are and the things that will take place after this. The mystery of the seven Stars which you saw in My right hand and the seven Golden Lampstands: the seven Stars are the angels of the seven Churches and the seven Golden Lampstands are the seven Churches.’”

 

The One Hundred Forty-four Thousand 

“I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds of the earth so that they could not blow on the land, on the sea or on any tree. I saw another angel coming up from the east with a seal from The Living GOD, he shouted to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea, “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our GOD on their foreheads!” I heard the number of them, one hundred forty-four thousand, twelve thousand from every tribe of the people of Israel: 12,000 from Judah; 12,000 from Reuben; 12,000 from Gad; 12,000 from Asher; 12,000 from Naphtali; 12,000 from Manasseh; 12,000 from Simeon; 12,000 from Levi; 12,000 from Issachar; 12,000 from Zebulun; 12,000 from Joseph; 12,000 from Benjamin were sealed.”

 

The Throne Room, The LAMB, and The Scroll

“Next, I saw a door standing open in Heaven. The first voice I heard was like a trumpet saying, ‘Come up here and I will show you what happens next.’ Immediately I was in The SPIRIT, I saw a Throne set in Heaven and The One Who sat on it. He Who sat on The Throne was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, there was a rainbow around The Throne that looked like an emerald. Around The Throne were twenty four thrones with twenty-four elders seated dressed in white robes and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

From The Throne came peels of thunder, lightnings and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before The Throne which are the seven Spirits of GOD. In front of The Throne was a sea of glass, like crystal, in the midst of The Throne and around The Throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and back.

The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature was like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures each having six wings were covered with eyes, inside and out. They did not rest day or night and were always saying,

‘Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD GOD Almighty, who was, who is and who is to come!’

Whenever the four living creatures give Glory, Honor and Thanks to Him Who sits on The Throne and lives forever and ever; the twenty-four elders fall down before Him and worship Him Who lives forever and ever, casting their crowns before The Throne saying,

‘You are worthy O LORD to receive Glory, Honor and Power;

for You created All things and by Your Will they exist.’

Then I saw in the right hand of Him Who sat on The Throne a scroll, it was written on the inside and the outside and sealed with seven seals. Then a strong angel proclaimed with a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the scroll and its seals?’ No one in Heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it. I cried and cried because there was no one to open or read the scroll. One of the elders said to me, ‘Do not cry, see The Lion of the tribe of Judah, The Root of David has won the right to open the scroll and its seven seals.’ As I looked I saw in the midst of The Throne, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders, stood a LAMB that appeared to have been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of GOD sent out into all the earth. He came and took the scroll out of the hand of The One sitting on The Throne.

When He took the scroll the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down in front of The LAMB, each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with pieces of incense which are the prayers of GOD’s people, and they sang a new song:

‘You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals because You were killed;

at the cost of Blood You ransomed for GOD persons from every tribe, language, people and nation. You made them into a Kingdom for GOD to rule,

priests to serve Him and they will rule over the earth.’

Then I saw and heard the sound of a vast number of angels – thousands and thousands, millions, and millions! They were all around The Throne; the living creatures and the elders and they shouted out:

‘Worthy is the LAMB that was slain to receive power,

riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and praise!’ 

I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth and on the sea – yes, everything in them saying:

‘To The One sitting on The Throne and to The Lamb

belong praise, glory, and power forever and ever!’ 

The four living creatures said, ‘Amen!’ and the elders fell down and worshipped.”

 

The First Three and a Half Years!

The Anti-Christ, The False Prophet, The Image:

“I saw the anti-christ come up out of the sea, he had ten horns and seven heads, on each horn was a royal crown and on its heads were blasphemous names. He was like a leopard but with feet like a bear and a mouth like a lions. To it the dragon gave his power, its throne and great authority. One of the heads of the anti-christ appeared to have received a fatal wound, but its fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth followed after the anti-christ in amazement. They worshipped the dragon because he had given his authority to the anti-christ and they worshipped the anti-christ saying, ‘Who is like the anti-christ, who can fight it?’ It had a mouth for speaking blasphemies and it had authority to act for forty-two months. It spoke blasphemies against GOD, His Tabernacle and those living in Heaven; it was allowed to make war on GOD’s Holy People and to defeat them; it was given authority over every tribe, language, people and nation. Everyone on earth will worship it except those whose name is written in the Book of Life belonging to The LAMB slain before the foundation of the world.

‘Those who have ears let them hear!

If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he goes!

If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he is to be killed!

This is when GOD’s Holy People must persevere and trust!’

Then a false prophet was raised up from the land, it had two horns like those of a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all of the authority of the anti-christ in its presence and it makes the earth, and its inhabitants worship the anti-christ, whose fatal wound has been healed. It performs great miracles, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth as people watch. It deceives the people living on the earth by the miracles it is allowed to perform in the presence of the anti-christ. It tells the people to make an image honoring the anti-christ that was wounded but came alive again. It was allowed to put breath into the image of the anti-christ so that the image could speak, and it was allowed to make anyone who would not worship the image of the anti-christ to be put to death. Also it forces everyone, great and small, rich, and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. Preventing anyone from buying or selling unless they have the mark, that is the name of the anti-christ or the number of its name. This is where wisdom is needed, those who understand should count the number of the anti-christ, for it is the number of a person and its number is 666.”

 

The Last Three and a Half Years!

The Martyrs

“When The LAMB broke the fifth seal I saw under the Altar the souls of those who had been slain for proclaiming The Word of GOD; that is for bearing witness. They cried out in a loud voice, ‘How long, O LORD, Holy and True, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ Each of them was given a white robe and told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants should be reached, of their brothers who would be killed just as they had been.”

 

Prelude to the Last Day

“When The LAMB broke the sixth seal there was a great earthquake, the sun turned black as sackcloth worn in morning, the full moon became blood red, the stars fell from heaven to the earth just like the fig tree drops its figs when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up and every mountain and island were moved from their place. Then the earth’s kings, rulers, generals, rich and mighty – indeed everyone slave and free – hid himself in caves and among rocks in the mountains; they cried to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of The One sitting on The Throne and from the fury of The LAMB! The Great Day of Their fury has come and who can stand?!’

When The LAMB broke the seventh seal there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour. Then the seven angels who stand before GOD were given seven trumpets. Another angel came and stood at the Altar with a gold incense bowl, he was given a large quantity of incense to add to the prayers of all GOD’s people to offer on the golden Altar in front of The Throne. The smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of GOD’s people from the hand of the angel before GOD. Then the angel filled the incense bowl with fire from the Altar and threw it down onto the earth; there were peals of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Then the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

 

Witnesses, Trumpets, Bowls, Woes, Proclamations

The first angel sounded his trumpet and hail and fire mingled with blood was thrown down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up and all the green grass was burned up.

The second angel sounded his trumpet and what looked like a giant blazing mountain was hurled into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The third angel sounded his trumpet and a great star, blazing like a torch fell from the sky onto a third of the rivers and onto the springs of water. The name of the star was “Wormwood” and a third of the water became bitter, and many people died because the water became bitter.

The fourth angel sounded his trumpet and a third of the sun was struck, also a third of the moon and a third of the stars so that a third of them were darkened; the day and the night each had a third less light.

“I was given a measuring rod and told, ‘Get up and measure the Temple of GOD and the Altar, count how many people are worshipping there! Do not measure the outer court, leave that out, it has been given to the nations and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.

I will give power to My two witnesses; they will prophesy for forty-two months dressed in sackcloth. These two are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before The LORD of the earth. If anyone tries to harm them fire comes out of their mouth and consumes them – yes, if anyone tries to harm them that is how they must die. They have the authority to shut up the sky so that no rain falls during the period of their prophesying. They also have the authority to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

Then I saw and heard a lone eagle give a loud cry as it flew in mid-heaven saying, ‘Woe! Woe! Woe! to the people living on the earth, because of the remaining blasts from the remaining three angels who have yet to sound their trumpets.’

The fifth angel sounded his trumpet and I saw a star that had fallen out of heaven onto the earth, he was given the key to the shaft leading down to the Abyss. He opened the shaft and smoke went up from the shaft like the smoke from a great furnace, the sun was darkened and the sky too by the smoke from the shaft. Then out of the smoke onto the earth came locusts, they were given power like the power of scorpions have on the earth. They were instructed not to harm the grass on the earth, any green plant, or any tree, only people who did not have the seal of GOD on their foreheads. The locusts were not allowed to kill them, only to inflict pain for five months and the pain they caused was like the pain of a scorpion sting. In those days people will seek death but will not fine it, they will long to die but death will elude them.

These locusts look like horses outfitted for battle, on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold and their faces were like human faces. They had hair likes women’s hair and their teeth were like lion’s teeth. Their chests were like iron breastplates and the sound their wings made was like the sound of many horses and chariots rushing to battle. They had tails like those of scorpions, with stingers in their tails with the power to hurt people for five months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is “Abaddon” and in our language is “Destroyer.” The first woe is past and there are still two more woes to come.

The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden Altar before GOD, saying to the sixth angel with the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels that are bound to the great river Euphrates!’ They were released, these four angels had been kept ready for this moment, for this day and month and year to kill a third of humanity; the number of the cavalry soldiers was two hundred million – I heard the number. Here is how the horses looked in the vision: the riders had breastplates that were fire-red, iris-blue and sulfur-yellow; the horses’ heads were like lions’ heads, from their mouths issued fire, smoke and sulfur. It was these three plagues that killed a third of humanity – the fire, smoke and sulfur issuing from their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and also in their tails, for their tails were like snakes with heads and with them they could cause injury.

The rest of humanity that were not killed by these plagues even then did not turn from what they made with their own hands, they did not stop worshipping demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood which cannot see or hear or walk. Neither did they turn from their murdering, their involvement with the occult, with drugs, sexual immorality or stealing.

Another mighty angel came down from Heaven, he was dressed in a cloud with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, his legs like columns of fire and he had a little scroll lying open in his hand; he planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, he shouted in a voice as loud as a lion; when he shouted, seven thunderclaps sounded with voices that spoke. When the seven thunders spoke I was about to write, but a heard a voice from Heaven say,

‘Seal up the things the seven thunders said, do not write them down!’

The angel standing on the sea and the land lifted his right hand toward Heaven and swore by The One Who lives forever and ever, Who created heaven and what is in it, earth and what is in it and the sea and what is in it. ‘There will be no more delay; on the contrary in the days of the sound from the seventh angel when he sounds his trumpet; the hidden plans of GOD will be brought to completion, the Good News as He proclaimed it to His servants the prophets.’

Then the voice I heard from Heaven said to me, ‘Go, take the scroll lying open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and the land!’ So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll; he said to me, ‘Take it and eat it; it will turn bitter in your stomach, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.’ I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but after I swallowed it my stomach turned bitter. Then I was told ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.’

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet and there were loud voices in Heaven saying,

‘The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom

of our LORD and Messiah and He will rule forever and ever!’

The twenty-four elders sitting on their thrones in GOD’s presence fell on their faces and worshipped GOD saying,

‘We thank You ADONAI, GOD of Heaven’s armies, The One Who is and was,

that You have taken Your Power and have begun to rule.

The nations raged but now Your rage has come,

the time for the dead to be judged, the time for rewarding Your servants the prophets.

and Your holy People, those who stand in awe of Your Name, both small and great.

 It is also time for destroying those who destroy the earth.’

Then The Temple of GOD in Heaven was opened, and the Ark of The Covenant was seen in His Temple; there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, an earthquake and violent hail.

I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven with the everlasting Good News to proclaim to those living on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language, and people, in a loud voice saying,

‘Fear GOD, give Him Glory for the hour has come when He will pass judgment!

Worship the One Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and the springs of water!’

Another angel, a second one followed saying,

‘She has fallen, she has fallen! Babylon the Great!

She made all the nations drink the wine of GOD’s fury caused by her whoring!’

Another angel, a third one followed them and said in a loud voice,

‘If anyone worships the anti-christ or it’s image and receives the mark on his forehead or on his hand, he will indeed drink the wine of GOD’s fury poured out undiluted into the cup of His rage. He will be tormented by fire and sulfur before the holy angels and before The LAMB, and the smoke from their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day or night, those who worship the anti-christ and his image and those who receive the mark of his name.’

This is when perseverance is needed on the part of GOD’s people, those who observe His Commands and exercise JESUS’ faithfulness.

I heard a voice from Heaven saying, ‘Write, “How blessed are the dead who die united with The LORD, from now on! Yes”, says The SPIRIT, “now they may rest from their efforts, for the things they have accomplished follow along with them.”

When the two witnesses finish their witnessing the anti-christ comes up out of the Abyss and fights against them, he overcomes them and kills them. Their dead bodies will lie in the main street of the great city whose name; to reflect its spiritual condition is, “Sodom” and “Egypt” – the city where their LORD was executed on a cross. Some from the nations, tribes, languages, and people see their bodies for three and a half days and do not permit the corpses to be buried. The people living in the land will celebrate and send each other gifts because these two prophets tormented them so much.

After the three and a half days the Breath of GOD entered them, and they stood up on their feet. Great fear came over all who saw them. Then the two heard a loud voice saying, ‘Come up here!’  They went up into Heaven in a cloud while their enemies watched. In that hour there was a great earthquake, a tenth of the city collapsed and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, the rest of the people were awestruck and gave Glory to the GOD of Heaven. The second woe is past watch the third woe is coming.”

 

The Last Great Day 

“I saw another sign in Heaven, a great and wonderful one: seven angels with the seven last plagues, because with them GOD’s fury is finished. I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire those defeating the anti-christ, his image and the number of his name were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps which GOD had given them. They were singing the song of Moses the servant of GOD and The Song of The LAMB:

‘Great and wonderful are the things You have done,

ADONAI, GOD of Heaven’s armies!

Just and True are Your Ways, King of the nations!

ADONAI, who will not fear and glorify Your Name?

Because You alone are Holy.

All nations will come and worship before You,

for Your Righteous Deeds have been revealed.’

After this I looked and the Sanctuary (that is the Tent of Witness in Heaven) was opened and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in bright linen and had gold belts around their chests. One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels, seven bowls filled with the fury of GOD, Who lives forever and ever. Then the sanctuary was filled with smoke from GOD’s Glory and Power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels had accomplished their purpose.

I heard a loud voice from the Sanctuary say to the seven angels, ‘Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of GOD’s fury!’

So the first angel went and poured his bowl on the earth and disgusting and painful sores appeared on the people who had the mark of the anti-christ and worshipped his image.

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and it became like the blood of a dead person and every living thing in the sea died.

 The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water and they turned to blood. Then I heard the angel of the waters say,

‘You are Righteous O LORD, The One Who is and was,

You are just in these judgment of Yours,

they poured out the blood of Your people  and Your prophets,

so You have made them drink blood. They deserve it!’

 

Then I heard The Altar say,

‘Yes ADONAI, GOD of Heaven’s armies,

Your judgments are True and Just!’

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun and it was permitted to burn people with fire. People were burned by the intense heat; yet they cursed the name of GOD, Who had the authority over these plagues, instead of turning from their sins to give him glory.

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the anti-christ and its kingdom grew dark, the people gnawed on their tongues from the pain, yet they cursed The GOD of Heaven because of their pains and sores and did not turn from their sinful ways.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and its water dried up; in order to prepare the way for the kings from the east. I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs that came out of the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the anti-christ and from the mouth of the false prophet. They are miracle working demonic spirits which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world to assemble them for the War of the Great Day of GOD Almighty.

‘Look I Am coming like a thief! How blessed are those who stay alert and keep their clothes clean, so that they won’t be walking naked and be publicly put to shame!’

They gathered the kings to the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of The Temple from The Throne saying, ‘It is done!’ There were flashes of lightning, voices, and peals of thunder. There was a massive earthquake, such as has never occurred since humanity has been on the earth. The great city was split into three parts, the cities of the nations fell, and GOD remembered Babylon the Great and made her drink the wine from the cup of His raging fury. Every island fled and there were no mountains to be found. Hugh seventy pound hailstones fell on people from the sky. But the people cursed GOD for the plague of hail, that it was such a terrible plague.

Then one of the angels with the seven bowls came to me and said, ‘Come, I will show you the judgment of the great whore who is sitting be many waters. The kings of the earth went whoring with her and the people living on the earth have become drunk from the wine of her whoring.’ He carried me off to a desert where I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast filled with blasphemous names and having seven heads and ten horns (the anti-christ). The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and glittered with gold, precious stones, and pearls. In her hand was a gold cup filled with the obscene and filthy things produced by her whoring. On her forehead was written a name with a hidden meaning.

‘MYSTERY BABYLON MOTHER OF WHORES, AND OF THE EARTHS OBSCENITIES’

I saw the woman drunk from the blood of GOD’s people; that is from the blood of the people who testify about JESUS.

On seeing her I was altogether astounded then the angel said to me, ‘Why are you astounded? I will tell you the hidden meaning of the woman and the anti-christ with the seven heads and ten horns that was carrying her. The anti-christ you saw once was, now is not and will come up from the Abyss, but it is on its way to destruction. The people living on the earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life since the founding of the world will be astonished to see the anti-christ that once was, now is not but is to appear.

This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven hill on which the woman sits; they also are seven kings: five have fallen, one is living now, and one is yet to come and when he does come he will remain only a little while. The anti-christ which once was, now is not, is an eighth king, it comes from the seven and is on its way to destruction. The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet reigned; they will receive power as kings for one hour with the anti-christ. They are of one mind and will hand over the power and authority to the anti-christ, they will go to war against the LAMB, but the LAMB will defeat them, because He is LORD of lords and KING of kings; those who are called, chosen and faithful will overcome with Him.’

Then he said to me, ‘The waters that you saw, where the whore is sitting, are peoples, nations, tribes, and languages. As for the ten horns that you saw and the anti-christ, they will hate the whore, bring her to ruin, leave her naked, eat her flesh and consume her with fire. For GOD put it in their hearts to do what will fulfill His purpose, that is, to be of one mind and give their kingdom to the anti-christ until GOD’s Words have accomplished their intent. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.’

I saw another angel coming down from Heaven having great authority and the earth was illuminated with his glory. He cried with a strong voice,

‘Babylon the Great is fallen, fallen!

She has become a dwelling place for demons,

a prison for every unclean spirit

and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

 

For all the nations have drunk of the wine

of GOD’s fury caused by her whoring;

yes, kings of the earth went whoring with her,

and from her unrestrained luxury

the worlds businessmen have grown rich.’

Then I heard another voice out of heaven say,

‘Come out of her my people,

lest you share in her sins

and lest you receive of her plagues.

For her sins have reached to Heaven

and GOD has remembered her crimes.

 

Render to her just as she rendered to you.

and repay her double according to her works;

use the cup in which she brewed

to brew her double portion!

 

Give her as much torment and sorrow

as the glory she gave herself!

In her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen;

I am not a widow, I will not see sorrow.’

 

Therefore the plagues will come

in a single day – death, sorrow and famine;

she will be burned with fire because

ADONAI, GOD, her judge, is Mighty.’

The kings of the earth who went whoring with her and shared her luxury will sob and wail over her when they see the smoke of her destruction. Standing at a distance for fear of her torment, they will say,

‘Oh no! The great city!

Babylon the mighty city!

In one hour your judgment has come!’

The world’s businessmen weep and mourn over her because no one is buying their merchandise; gold, silver, gems and pearls, fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet, all rare woods ivory, things made of scented wood, brass, iron and marble, cinnamon, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, grain, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots and people’s bodies and souls.

‘The fruit that your soul lusted for are gone!

All the luxury and things that are splendid are gone

and you will never fine them again.’

The merchants of these things who became rich by her will stand at a distance for fear of her torment weeping and mourning saying,

‘Alas, alas, that great city was clothed

in fine linen, purple and scarlet

she was adorned with

gold, precious stones and pearls!

Such great wealth destroyed in one day!’

All the ships masters, passengers, sailors and everyone making a living from the sea stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke as she burned, ‘What city was like the great city?’ They threw dust on their heads and wept saying,

‘Oh no! The great city!

The abundance of her wealth

made all the ship owners rich!

In one day she is ruined!

 

Rejoice over her Heaven!

Rejoice People of GOD,

Saints, Apostles and Prophets!

For in judging her, GOD has vindicated you.’

Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a great millstone and hurled it into the sea saying,

‘With violence like this

will the great city of Babylon

be thrown down,

never to be found again!

 

The sound of harpists and musicians, flute players and trumpeters

will never be heard in you again.

No worker of the trades will be found in you,

the sound of the mill will never be heard is you again.

The light of a lamp will never be seen in you.

The voice of bridegroom and bride

will never be heard in you again.

 

For your businessmen were the most powerful on the earth,

all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.

In her was found the blood of the prophets and of GOD’s people,

Indeed, of all who have ever been slain on the earth!’

Then I heard what sounded like a roar of a huge crowd in Heaven saying,

‘Halleluyah!

Salvation, and Glory, and Honor, and Power belong to our GOD!

For His judgments are True and Just!

He has judged the great whore who corrupted

the earth with her whoring.

He has taken vengeance on her

who has the blood of His Servants on her hands.’

And a second time they said,

‘Halleluyah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever!’

The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped GOD, sitting on The Throne, saying,

‘Amen! Halleluyah!’

A voice went out from The Throne, saying,

‘Praise our GOD, all you His Servants, you who fear Him, small and great!’

I looked and there was before me a white cloud, sitting on it was One like The Son of Man with a Gold Crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. Another angel came out of The Temple and shouted to The One sitting on the cloud, ‘Start using Your sickle to reap because the time to harvest has come; the earth’s harvest is ripe!’ The One sitting on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth and the earth was harvested.

Another angel came out of The Temple and he also had a sharp sickle, then out from the Altar went yet another angel, who was in charge of the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, ‘Use your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine because they are ripe.’ The angel swung his sickle down onto the earth, gathered the earth’s grapes and threw them into the great winepress of GOD’s fury. The winepress was trodden outside the city and blood flowed from the winepress as high as the horse’s bridles for two hundred miles!

I looked and there was The LAMB standing on Mount Zion, with Him were the 144,000 who had His Name and The Father’s Name written on their foreheads. I heard a sound from Heaven like the sound of rushing waters and like the sound of pealing thunder; the sound I heard was also like the sound of harpists plating their harps. They were singing a new song before The Throne, the four living creatures and the elders; no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who have been ransomed from the world. These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, they are virgins, they follow The LAMB wherever He goes. They have been ransomed from among humanity as Firstfruits for GOD and The LAMB, on their lips no lie was found for they are without defect.

Then I saw a great multitude, too large for anyone to count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language. They were standing in front of The Throne and in front of The LAMB, dressed in white robes and holding palm branches in their hand; They shouted,

‘Victory to our GOD who sits on The Throne and to The LAMB!’

All the angels stood around the Throne, the elders and the four living creatures; they all fell face down before The Throne and worshipped GOD, saying,

Amen! Praise and Glory, Wisdom and Thanks, Honor and Power

and Strength belong to our GOD forever and ever! Amen! 

One of the elders asked me, ‘Who are these people dressed in white robes and where are they from?’ I answered, ‘Sir, you know.’ Then he told me, ‘These are the people who came out of the Great Tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white with The Blood of The LAMB. That is why they are before GOD’s Throne, day and night they serve Him in His Temple and the One Who sits on The Throne will dwell among them. They will never be hungry, they will never again be thirsty, the sun will not beat down on them nor will any burning heat. For the LAMB at the center of The Throne will shepherd them, will lead them to springs of living water and GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Then I hear what sounded like the roar of a large crowd, like the sound of rushing waters, like loud peals of thunder, saying,

‘Halleluyah!

ADONAI, The LORD Omnipotent, GOD of Heaven’s armies

has begun His reign!

Let us rejoice and be glad!

Let us give Him the Glory!

For the time has come for the wedding of The LAMB

and His Bride has prepared herself;

she has been given fine linen,

bright and clean to wear;

for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the Saints.’

The angel said to me,

‘Write, “How blessed are those who have been invited to the wedding feast of The LAMB!”’

Then he added,

‘These are GOD’s very Words.’

I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said,

‘Don’t do that! I’m only a fellow servant with you and your brothers

who have the testimony of JESUS. Worship GOD!

For the testimony of JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy.’

Then I saw Heaven opened and there before me was a white horse; sitting on it was The One called Faithfull and True and it is in Righteousness that He passes judgment and goes to battle. His eyes were like a fiery flame, on His head were many Royal Crowns, He had a Name written which no one knows but He Himself. He was wearing a robe that had been soaked in Blood and The Name He is called by is,

‘The WORD of GOD.’

The armies of Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and pure, were following Him on white horses. Out of His mouth comes a sharp two edged Sword to strike down the nations.

‘He will rule them with a staff of iron.’

He is The One who treads the winepress from which flows the wine of the furious rage of The LORD, GOD of Heaven’s armies. On His robe and on His thigh He has a Name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

I saw an angel standing in the sun, he cried with a loud voice to all the birds that fly about in mid-heaven,

‘Come, gather together for the great feast GOD is giving,

To eat the flesh of kings, generals, and important men,

To eat the flesh of horses and their riders,

The flesh of all kinds of people; free and slave, small and great!’

I saw the anti-christ and the kings of the earth with their armies gather to do battle with The Rider of the horse and His army. The anti-christ and the false prophet, who in his presence did miracles to deceive those who received the mark of the anti-christ and those who worshipped his image, were taken captive. Then both were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. The rest were killed with the Sword that comes out of the mouth of The Rider on the horse. All the birds gorged on the flesh of the fallen.”

 

Millennial Reign

“Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, he had the keys to the Abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and satan (the adversary), he chained up the dragon for a thousand years in the bottomless pit, locked and sealed so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. Then he will be let loose for a little while.

There were thrones and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for testifying about JESUS and proclaiming The Word of GOD, also those who did not worship the anti-christ or its image or had not received the mark of the anti-christ on their foreheads or on their hands; they came to life and ruled with CHRIST for the thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed; this is the first resurrection. Blessed and Holy is anyone who had part in the first resurrection, over them the second death had no power. On the contrary, they will be priests of GOD and of CHRIST and rule with them for the thousand years.

But the cowardly, the untrustworthy, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those involved in the occult and with drugs, idol worshippers and all liars; their destiny is the lake of fire and sulfur, the second death.”

 

Final Battle and Judgment

“When the thousand years are complete the dragon will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four quarters of the earth; Gog and Magog, to gather them for the battle. Their number is countless as the sand on the seashore; they came up over the breath of the land and surrounded the camp of GOD’s people and the City He Loves. Fire came down from Heaven and consumed them, the dragon who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur where the anti-christ and the false prophet were. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

After that there was A Great White Throne and The One sitting on it; earth and heaven fled from His presence and no place was found for them. The dead, great and small were standing before The Throne, books were opened and another Book was opened, The Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what was written in the books.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, death and hell gave up the dead that were in them and everyone was judged according to what they had done. Then death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, anyone whose name was not written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death.”

 

The New Heaven, Earth and Jerusalem

“Then The One sitting on The Throne said, “Look! I am making everything new!” He said, ‘Write! These Words are True and Trustworthy!’ He told me, ‘It is done! I Am The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End. To anyone who is thirsty, I, Myself will give Water free of charge from The Fountain of Life. Those who win the victory will receive these things and I will be their GOD and they shall be My Child.’ I heard a voice from The Throne say, ‘See! GOD’s Divine Presence is with humanity! He will live with them, and they will be His People. He, Himself, with them, will be their GOD. No longer will there be any curses; He will wipe away every tear; there will be no more death, mourning, pain or crying because the old order has passed away.’

 

I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. One of the seven angels having the seven bowls of GOD’s last plagues came to me and said, ‘Come, I will show you the LAMB’s Bride, The Wife of The LAMB.’ He carried me off in the Spirit and took me to a very high mountain. I saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from GOD, prepared like a Bride, beautifully dressed for Her Husband. It had The Presence of GOD so that it’s brilliance was like a precious, crystal clear diamond jewel. It had a great high wall with twelve gates. The angel standing with me had a gold measuring rod for measuring the City, it’s gates and it’s wall. The City was laid out in a square it’s width, height and length were all 1,500 miles as the angel measured it. The City was made of pure gold; the main street was pure gold like clear glass.

Each gate was made of a single pearl; there were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south and three gates on the west, at the gates were angels and inscribed on the gates were the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.

The wall was 216 feet wide by human standards; it was built on twelve foundation stones and on these were the names of the twelve Apostles of The LAMB. Each foundation stone was decorated with precious stones; the first with diamond, the second with sapphire, the third with chalcedony, the fourth with emerald, the fifth with sardonyx, the sixth with carnelian, the seventh with chrysolite, the eighth with beryl, the ninth with topaz, the tenth with chrysoprase, the eleventh with turquoise and the twelfth with amethyst.

The angel showed me the River of The Water of Life, sparkling like crystal, flowing from The Throne of GOD and The LAMB. Between the main street and The River is The Tree of Life producing twelve kinds of fruit, a different kind for every month; and the leaves of The Tree are for healing the nations; no longer will there be any curses.

There is no temple in The City because The LORD GOD of Heaven’s armies and The LAMB are it’s Temple. The City has no need of the sun or the moon to shine in it because GOD’s Presence illuminates it, and the LAMB is it’s lamp. His Servants will worship Him; they will see His face and His Name will be on their foreheads; they will reign as kings forever and ever. The nations will walk by it’s light and the rulers of the earth will bring their splendor and the honor and the splendor of the nations into it. It’s gates will never close, they stay open all day because night will not exist there. Nothing impure may enter it or anyone who does shameful things or lies; the only ones who may enter it are those whose names are written in The LAMB’s Book of Life.”

 

Epilog and Final Warning

Then the angel said to me, ‘These Words are True and Trustworthy: The LORD GOD of the SPIRIT and prophets sent His angel to show His Servants the things that must shortly take place.’

‘Look! I Am coming soon.

Blessed is the person who obeys The Words of the prophesy of This Book!’

‘Then I John, the one hearing and seeing these things, when I heard and saw them, fell down to worship at the feet of the angel showing them to me, “Don’t do that! I am only a fellow servant with you and your brothers, the prophets and the people who obey The Words of This Book. Worship GOD!’ Then he said to me,

‘Don’t seal up The Words of the Prophecy of This Book,

because the time of their fulfillment is near.

 

Whoever keeps acting wickedly,

let them go on acting wickedly.

Whoever is filthy,

let them go on being filthy.

 

Also, whoever is righteous,

let them go on acting righteously.

Whoever is holy,

let them go on being made holy.’

Notes and Comments

Reading Revelation in chapter order makes it seem like all the chapters are consecutive events. There are those who will point out small differences and what about chapters 10, part of 11 and 12-15. How is it that these events cannot be taking place during the trumpet and bowl events, or have they already happened? Remember The Bible was not written with the chapter and verse divisions, those were added latter to help readers and students. We do not know if John received this full revelation in one session or over more than one visit, it seems that it was one event. Remember this is seven years of events! I believe the first five seals have been happening at least since CHRIST ascended to Heaven.

While Revelation is a standalone book given by JESUS CHRIST to John toward the end of the first century of The Gospel era (in which we still live); there are many references to the events described in Revelation throughout The Bible. I will add some references of prophesies and scripture from the rest of the Bible for the reader to read and study.

Chapters 1 through 4 are completed and closed (actually all the Books of The Bible are completed and closed in GOD’s Eternal Kingdom; it is just the timeline of humanity that has not yet been completed in the natural realm). There are many cross references throughout the Scriptures that complement these four chapters but nothing that specifically prophesied of these events. The verbal and visual presentation of GOD and JESUS is found in many places in the Bible:  Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3, 8:12-18; Exodus 3; Colossians 1:14-20; Isaiah 6:1-4, 9:6-7, 11:1-5, 22:22, 41:4, 44:6-8, 48:12-13, 55:8-9; Ezekiel 1:24-28, 43:1-4; Daniel 7:9-13, 10:5-6; Matthew 16:19, 17:1-2; Romans 6:9-10, 11:33-36; Zechariah 4, 12:10-14; Hebrews 4:12-13; Acts 3:12-16; 1 John 5:20-21; Job 12:13-15, 36:22-26, 41:3; 2 Corinthians 1:20-22; Psalm 29, 145:21.

Chapters 2 and 3, the seven letters to the seven Churches in Asia are still relevant to the Church today! Every book of the Bible is GOD’s Word, Letter, Law, or Instruction to humanity and relevant for today. Chapter 4 John’s being visited by angels and caught up into Heaven for the presentation of The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST is not the first time someone has been caught up into Heaven. Daniel 10, Ezekiel 1:1,5-10,28, 2:1-5, 10:14, 43:5; 2 Corinthians 12:1-4; Isaiah 6:1-3; Exodus 37:23; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16; Romans 11:36; Proverbs 16:4; Amos 3:13, 4:13.

Chapter 5 The scroll written on the inside and on the back with seven seals; that only The LION of the tribe of Judah, The Root of David, The LAMB of GOD that was slain but is Alive having seven horns and seven eyes which are The Seven Spirits of GOD sent out into all the earth; is worthy and able to open and loose the seven seals! John 1:29, 35-36; Zechariah 3:7-9, 4:1-10, 5:1-4; Genesis 49:8-12; Hebrews 7:14, 9:11-17; Isaiah 11:1-5,10, 29:11, 40:12-14, 61:5-6; Exodus 19:5-6;  Philippians 2:6-11; 1 Chronicles 29:9-13; Ezekiel 2:9-10; 2 Chronicles 29:11; Psalm 29:9, 145:21.

Chapters 6 through 19 are not consecutive; there is much overlapping because of simultaneous events. Over the last seven years before the thousand year reign of CHRIST from Jerusalem there will be twenty-one events of judgment on the whole earth and all alive will experience them. We know that the attacking locus will last for five months (Revelation 9:1-12), the others do not have a duration reference. If there are twelve judgments over three and half years that is one every three and a half months, depending on duration most of them will overlap. There are differing teachings on this but none of us actually knows. See addendum 1.

Chapter 6, it seems that it is from this point that people get the most confused about the timeline of events leading to our eternal Heavenly union with CHRIST. Many of the events of the following chapters are simultaneous; John writes them in the order they were revealed to him, using “then I saw”, “then I heard”, “after that”, “then these things”; but that does not mean that they happen in the order that they were revealed to him. Study them for yourself! The first four seals are the four horsemen of the apocalypse (not the name given by CHRIST when He told them to John.); these events along with the fifth seal seem to have been happening throughout history. So are they ancient events like chapter 12 or are they specific to the Great Tribulation like chapter 13? I believe the 4 Horsemen have been happening since the fall of man, since CHRIST was crucified since before the foundation of the earth was laid (Revelation 13:8). Seals six and seven seem to go with chapters 7 and 14:1-5 which are seventh trumpet-last day events.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse: the first seal is a white horse with a crowned conqueror armed with a bow gone out to conquer; the second seal is a red horse whose rider with a great sword takes away peace and causes people to kill one another, the third seal is a black horse whose rider has a pair of scales causing widespread famines and shortages, the fourth seal is a pale horse ridden by Death and accompanied by Hell with the power to kill twenty five percent of humanity by war, famine, plagues and the beasts of the earth. Genesis 6:1-7; Zechariah 1:8, 6:1-3; Psalm 45:4-5; Ezekiel 5:7-17, 14:21-23, 29:1-7; Leviticus 26:21-22.

The fifth seal reveals those who “had been slain for The Word of GOD and the testimony which they held.” these are also referenced to in Chapter 12:10-12 “And they overcome him (the devil) by The Blood of The LAMB and the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Is that from the beginning of time or CHRIST’s ascension? Most likely since CHRIST’s Ascension. 2 Timothy 1:8-9; Hebrews 11:39-40; Zechariah 1:12; Mark 13:13.

The sixth seal – the earth is shaken, the sun is darkened, the stars fall, the sky recedes, the mountains and islands are moved, men great and small call on the mountains to fall on them because of GOD’s wrath, “For the Great Day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” The sixth seal and the seventh trumpet both seem to be the opening of the Great Last Day. Matthew 24:7; Joel 2, 3:14-17; Isaiah 2:10-11, 19-21, 24:19-23, 34:1-4; Luke 23:27-31; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Hosea 10:8.

Chapters 7:1-8 and 14:1-5 presents the one hundred and forty four thousand virgin male Jews who are sealed with the Name of GOD on their forehead; twelve thousand from each of the following twelve tribes of Israel; Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin (Notice the tribes are not listed in birth order and that Dan and Ephraim (Joseph’s younger son are replaced by Joseph and Levi [Levi did not receive a parcel of land like the other tribes, they received cities within each tribes territory] see addendum 2). They sing a new song; before the Throne, the four living creatures and the elders accompanied by an ensemble of harpists (could these be the Believers who overcome the devil during the Great Tribulation as mentioned in Chapter 15); that only they could learn. They are redeemed from among men and follow The LAMB wherever He goes as first fruits to GOD and The LAMB. Out of their mouth is found no deceit because they are without fault before the Throne of GOD. Some could be from the four hundred years of slavery in Egypt, some from the seventy years of exile in Babylon, some could be from the great dispersion after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, some could be from the holocaust of the 1930s and 40s, some or all could be from the Great Tribulation. There is no other mention of them, we do not know what time in history they are from, if they all are sealed at the same time or at different times in history; but it seems reasonable that since they are only mentioned in the book of Revelation and they go everywhere CHRIST goes that they are from the time of the Great Tribulation. Daniel 7; Genesis 49:1-27; Hosea 12-14; James 1:17-18; Psalm 32, 119:1-8; Ephesians 5:25-27; 2 Corinthians 1:21.

Chapter 7:9-17 presents the multitudes of martyrs from the Great Tribulation, also mentioned in Revelation 15:2 and 20:4-6. “After this I looked and before me was a huge crowd, too large for anyone to count, from every nation, tribe, people and language. They were standing in front of the Throne and in front of The LAMB, dressed in white robes and holding palm branches in their hands;…One of the elders asked me, ‘These people dressed in white robes – who are they and where are they from?’ ‘Sir,’ I answered, ‘you know.’ Then he told me, ‘These are the people who have come out of the Great Persecution. They have washed their robes and made them white with the Blood of The LAMB. That is why they are before GOD’s Throne. Day and night they serve Him in His Temple and The One who sits on the Throne will put His Sh’khinah upon them.’…Then I saw thrones and those seated on them received authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for testifying about YESHUA and proclaiming The Word of GOD, also those who had not worshipped the beast or its image and had not received the mark on their foreheads and on their hands. They came to life and ruled with the Messiah for a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over.) This is the first resurrection.” Revelation 7:9, 13-15; 20:4-5 CJB. For those who believe in the rapture of all Believers before the Great Tribulation, where does this great multitude that come out of the Great Tribulation and cannot be numbered come from? If there are only some nominal Christians left after the rapture then in three and a half to seven years they are better evangelists than all the Christians who lived for the two thousand plus years before the rapture. Hebrews 9:11-28, 10; Psalm 23:1-2; Isaiah 25:8, 49:10; Jeremiah 2:13; Ezekiel 34:23.

Chapter 8:1-6 The Seventh Seal is the prelude to the Seven Trumpets. Verses 7-13 Trumpets 1 through 4 and the announcement of three Woes! 2 Chronicles 29:25-28; Psalm 141:1-2; 2 Samuel 22:5-16; Ezekiel 14:12-23, 38, 39; Isaiah 13, 14.

Chapter 9 Trumpets 5 and 6: fifth trumpet is the opening of the bottomless pit and the release of attacking locusts to attack those who do not have the seal of GOD on their forehead. Is this seal The HOLY SPIRIT who seals all believers to GOD or is this the seal just of the one hundred forty-four thousand Israelites of chapter 7? The sixth trumpet is four angels bound to the Euphrates River who are released to kill one third of humanity, they have an army of two hundred million horsemen. 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Luke 8:30-31; Joel 11-126, 2:1-11; Nahum 3:12-17; Daniel 5:23, 7; Ephesians 2:1-13; Ezekiel 38:1-17; Isaiah 5:24-30; 2 Corinthians 1:21; Psalm 115:4-7, 135:15-17.

Chapter 10 – John eats the little book from the angel, this is after the seven seals, when he receives the rest of The Revelation. Jeremiah 15:16; Ezekiel 2:10-14, 3:1-8; Psalm 29:3-9; Daniel 8:15-27, 12; Deuteronomy 32:40; Nehemiah 9:6.

Chapter 11:1-14 – Is about the Two Witnesses who are in Jerusalem for the last three and one half years of the Great Tribulation, they are the second woe and their resurrection and ascension ushers in the seventh trumpet; 11:15-19 is the sounding of the seventh trumpet. Ezekiel 37:1-14, 40:3-42:20; Numbers 16:24-35; Psalm 2, 79:1-7; Zechariah 4; 2 Kings 1:9-15; 1 Kings 17:1; Hebrews 13:12-13; Isaiah 27:13; Exodus 15:18; Amos 3:13, 4:13.

Chapter 12 – Is the history of Israel and CHRIST and lucifer, this plays out from before creation, throughout history and until the final White Throne judgment. Psalm 2:8-9; Isaiah 14:12-17, 66:5-11; Daniel  7:23-27, 12:7; John 12:27-33; Genesis 3:1-5; Job 1:6-9; Zechariah 3:1-2; Romans 16:17-20; Luke 14:26-27; Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6; 1 Peter 5:6-11; 1 John 5:4-5.

Chapter 13 – Is about the beast (anti-christ), the false prophet, the image of the beast and the name or mark of the beast. The beast (anti-christ) rises from the sea and the false prophet from the land. Is the sea like 17:15 – representative of the nations and the land representative of just one nation? Is 666 (the mark of the beast), man was created on the sixth day of creation, man was redeemed on the sixth day of the week, man’s reign on the earth is for six Biblical days (six thousand years)? By the current Jewish calendar we are in the Biblical year of 5782 (2022 in the Gregorian calendar) the year according to the Essenes calendar is 5945 (see addendum 3) which means there are between fifty five and two hundred and eighteen years before we get to the Sabbath Day or Millennial Reign (1000 years) of CHRIST that will be followed by Eternity. Daniel 2:1-45, 7-8; Ezekiel 1; Jeremiah 15:2, 43:11.

Chapter 14:1-5 – Is the revelation of The Lamb standing on Mount Zion and of the one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrew males having the name of The Father on their foreheads. 14:6-13 is three proclamations – fear GOD and give Him Glory; Babylon the Great is fallen; those who worship the anti-christ and take his mark will burn forever in the lake of fire. For those who believe and teach that this second death is final in the sense that it has a duration or time limit, they are wrong, throughout the Gospels and Revelation it is proclaimed as lasting forever and ever or for eternity; and those cast into it are alive and tormented forever and ever. 14:14-20 – The Harvest: Many teach that the Church will be Raptured from the earth just before or halfway through the Great Tribulation; but this passage has the harvest of the Saints and the wicked happening consecutively as in chapter 20:11-15. Remember those raised from the dead at CHRIST’s return in chapter 20:4-6 were “those who had been beheaded for their witness to JESUS and for The Word of GOD, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with CHRIST for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.” (See Revelation 19:17-21). Psalm 32, 75, 119:1-8; 2 Corinthians 11:1-4; James 1:2-8,17-18; Ephesians 3:8-12, 5:25-27; Nehemiah 9:5-6; Isaiah 21:9, 34, 63:1-6; 2 Thessalonians 1, 2:1-12, 3:5; Ecclesiastes 4:1-8; 1 Corinthians 3:11-23, 15; Hebrews 4, 13:20-22; Joel 3; Matthew 10:28, 13:14-31,36-43,47-50, 24:29-31; Mark 13; John 17:20-26; Ephesians 1:3-14; Acts 15:16-18; Titus 1:1-3; 1 Peter 1:13-21, 2:17-25; Colossians 2:8-9; Daniel 7:13.

Chapters 15-16 – Are the seven bowl judgments the final judgment of GOD on the earth that happen during the Last Day of the Great Tribulation. In Matthew 24:22, JESUS talking about the Great Tribulation says that its length of time is predetermined so that everyone will not be destroyed for the sake of the Chosen. Matthew 3:11-12, 24; Exodus 7:14-11:10, 15:1-21, 19:17-20; Psalm 145:17-21; Isaiah 66:14-24; 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10; 2 Thessalonians 1:3-12, 2:1-12; Daniel 5, 12:1-4; 1 John 4:1-3; 2 Corinthians 1:21, 5:1-11; Amos 3:13, 4:13.

Chapters 17:1-19:4 – Is about the fall of Babylon, the great whore. “Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came to me and said, ‘Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters and the rulers of the earth committed fornication with her and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.’…On her forehead was a name, ‘Mystery Babylon The Great. The Mother Of Harlots And Of The Abominations Of The Earth.’ I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the Saints and with the blood of the martyrs of JESUS. When I saw her, I was greatly amazed. The angel said to me, ‘Why are you amazed? I will show you the mystery of the woman and the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was, is not and will ascend out to the bottomless pit and go to perdition. Those on the earth whose names are not written in The Book of Life since the foundation of the earth will marvel when they see the beast who was, is not and is yet to be. Here is wisdom; the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. There are also seven kings, five have fallen, one is and the other is yet to come; when he comes he will last only a short time. The beast that was and is not is himself the eighth king and is one of the seven and he is going to perdition. The ten horns are ten rulers who have not received a kingdom yet but will receive authority for one hour as rulers with the beast. These are of one mind and they will give their authority and power to the beast. They will make war with The LAMB and He will defeat them, for He is LORD of lords and KING of kings; those who are with Him are called Chosen and Faithful. Then he said to me, ‘The waters where the harlot sits is peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. The ten horns on the beast will hate the harlot make her desolate and naked and eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For GOD has put it in their hearts to fulfill His Purpose, to be of one mind and to give their kingdom to the beast until the Words of GOD are fulfilled. The woman you saw is that great city which reigns over the rulers of the earth.’”

This section is confusing, the beast the Great Harlot rides on is the anti-christ (the beast that rises out of the sea) and she is the city that sets on 7 mountains. Over the years many have tried to figure out who is the anti-christ and how does he have 7 heads; what city or system is the Great Harlot and how do the kings eat her flesh. We will not know until it happens because it is as much spiritual as physical, do not let this type of language confuse you or discourage you in your study. We can only understand what GOD gives us His Wisdom Knowledge and Understanding to know. Nahum 3:1-7; Jeremiah 50-51; Daniel 7, 11; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; 1 Timothy 6:11-16; Isaiah 13:17-22, 14:22-23, 21, 23, 34, 47, 48:20-22; Ezekiel 26, 43; Psalm 2:8-9, 10, 22:25-31, 134, 137:8-9; Luke 14:15-24; Deuteronomy 32:43; Matthew 22:1-14, 23-33; Hebrews 1:1-14; Mark 9:42-49.

Chapter 19:11-21 – Is the battle of Armageddon. (See Revelation 16:12-21) This is not the final battle of a human army led by the devil attacking Jerusalem that is Revelation 20:7-10. Matthew 24:4-44, 28:3; Joel 2, 3; Isaiah 2:10-21, 11:4, 34:1-4, 63:2-6; Psalm 2:1-9, 21:8-13, 67:4; Zephaniah 1:14-18; John 1:1-18; 1 Timothy 6:15; Daniel 2:46-47, 7, 8; Ezekiel 39:17-20; Amos 3:13, 4:13.

Chapter 20:1-10 – Is about Christ’s thousand-year reign over the earth from Jerusalem with a rod of iron. Why a rod of iron, because not all who reject Christ are in the army of the anti-christ and destroyed at Armageddon. While CHRIST Reigns from Jerusalem for a thousand years not everyone will be happy about that. When CHRIST destroys the anti-christ and all who serve him many people will repent and live their life for GOD, but not all. Some will not want to stop stealing rather than working, some will not stop lying rather than being honest, some will not give up their lusts rather than living morally, some will not stop cheating rather than living life with integrity. Satan is imprisoned in a bottomless pit during the thousand years; with his release he raises an enormous army to attack CHRIST. We do not know how long this period of time is but there will be a lot of people on the earth who still live by their own desires and will. This massive army surrounds the “camp of the Saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from GOD out of Heaven and devoured them.” This is the fire that destroys the heavens and the earth. 2 Peter 2:4-11; Psalm 2, 46, 47, 72:5-19, 93, 96, 97, 99, 110, 146:10; Proverbs 23:17-18; Daniel 7:9-14; 1 Corinthians 6:1-3, 15:20-28; John 14:19-31; Romans 8:12-39, 15:7-12; Ezekiel 38, 39:1-20; Isaiah 4:4-6, 9:6-7, 11:1-10, 24, 40:6-11, 52:7-10; Zechariah 6:12-13; Micah 4:1-8, 7:14; Luke 1:30-33; Exodus 15:18; Jeremiah 23:5-8, 33:19-26; 2 Timothy 2:7-13; 1 Chronicles 16:31-33, 29:10-12.

Chapter 20:1-6 There are some who discount the thousand year reign of Christ because it is not found anywhere else in The Bible. But it is! Why would He rule from Heaven with a rod of iron over all the resurrected Saints and The Heavenly Hosts? He will not! He will rule over the earth from the city of Jerusalem and all the nations will pay Him homage, but according to verses 7-11 not all will want His rule, hence the rod of iron and the final battle. (See Revelation 2:27) Psalm 2:8-9, 45:6-7, 110:1-3; Zechariah 14:16; Matthew 25:31-46. Study Psalms 110 through 113.

Chapter 20:11-15 says that all the dead will be raised to judgment and be judged from the books, those whose name is not found in The Lamb’s Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire where satan, the anti-christ and the false prophet already are. Notice that the first resurrection according to Revelation 20:1-6 is at the beginning of CHRIST’s one thousand year reign on the earth from Jerusalem and only includes those martyred during the Great Tribulation. This contradicts the general teaching that 1 Corinthians 15:50-56 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 are about the rapture of the Church at the beginning of the Great Tribulation. There is a difference between The Last Day and The Final (Seventh) Trumpet! 1 Corinthians 15:50-56 is about the last (seventh) trumpet when CHRIST returns to establish His thousand year reign over the nations of the earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 fits better with the Final Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. There will be births and deaths during the thousand year reign. The Last Day is the final battle between the devil’s human forces and the Saint’s encampment and Jerusalem. This is when the earth, seas, and heavens are destroyed by fire and the new Earth, Heaven, and Jerusalem are created. Also there is no day and night in the New Heaven and New Earth, there is no sun and moon, GOD’s Shekinah and CHRIST is their Light (Revelation 21).

JESUS in John 5 in dealing with the religious leaders about His authority over the Sabbath, healing, and judgment He tells them in verses 24-30, “Yes indeed, I tell you that there is coming a time – in fact, it’s already here – when the dead will hear the voice of The Son of GOD, and those who listen will come to life. For just as The Father has Life in Himself, so He has given The Son to have Life in Himself. Also He has given Him authority to execute judgment because He is The Son of Man. Don’t be surprised at this; because the time is coming when all in the grave will hear His voice and come out – those who have done good to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to a resurrection of judgment. I can’t do a thing on My own. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is right; because I don’t seek My own desire, but the desire of The One who sent Me.” CJB In John 11:21-28 about the death and resurrection of Lazarus, Martha makes the statement to JESUS, “I know that he will rise again at the Resurrection on the Last Day.” John 11:24 CJB How did Martha know this? She knew because that was a teaching of the Pharisees according to the Law and The Prophets. JESUS did not correct her theology because it was correct; He informed her that He was the Resurrection and the Life of all who believe in Him. In John 12:44-50 JESUS said about The Last Day, “If anyone hears what I Am saying and does not observe it, I don’t judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. Those who reject Me and don’t accept what I say have a judge – The Word I have spoken will judge them on The Last Day.” 12:47-48 CJB Again JESUS is telling us that on The Last Day all will be raised and judged as described in Revelation 20 this is the second resurrection. In Revelation 3:10 in the letter to the Church at Philadelphia JESUS tells them, “Because you have kept My Command to persevere I will keep you from the hour of trial which will come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” This time period of “the hour” could imply the full seven years of tribulation, the last three and a half years or just the day of the seventh trumpet. The Church will be raptured at the sound of the Seventh Trumpet, the shortest time period, we will not be burned up in the final judgment (The Last Day) but we will go through the full tribulation period.

I first became a Christian on December 8^th, 1974; I started Bible College in August of 1975, what I learned during that time was the Seventh Trumpet would sound and CHRIST would return for the Christians (the rapture) the sky would be bright around the world and everyone would see CHRIST and the Saints being raptured. Then there would be seven years of tribulation on the world and CHRIST would come back and establish His thousand year reign after the seven years of tribulation (I don’t hear that being taught anymore; they teach that the Church will be raptured but not that CHRIST will return to rapture the Church). This would mean that CHRIST comes to the earth three times: His Birth, The Rapture and the Battle of Armageddon, but the Bible says that JESUS only comes to the earth two times, His Birth and at the Sound of the Seventh Trumpet when the battle of Armageddon takes place and He establishes His thousand year reign over the nations. That means that the Church will not be raptured before the Great Tribulation

The Last Day and the seventh trumpet are not the same event! The seventh trumpet is the return of CHRIST to defeat the anti-christ and set up His thousand year reign in Jerusalem while the devil is chained for the thousand years. This is the first resurrection, the resurrection of those who died during the Great Tribulation (Revelation 20:4-6). The Last Day is the day that He defeats the devil casting him into the Lake of Fire and the earth, seas and heaven are burned up. This is the day of the second resurrection and final judgment – the second death. Isaiah 2:2,12,20; Micah 4:1-8; Matthew 7:21-23, 24:29-31, 25:31-46; John 6:37-65, 11:17-27; 2 Timothy 4:1; James 5:1-12; 2 Peter 3:1-13

Chapter 20:11-15 Some believe that this does not include those who lived and died or were alive in CHRIST and were raptured. Many believe that those not raptured who knew about CHRIST will repent and live for Him during the Great Tribulation and will lead others to a saving faith in CHIRST. I do not believe that there is a rapture of the living before or during the Great Tribulation. This, all the dead refers to all who ever lived and died from creation to the final battle and destruction of the earth. The fact is that they are judged out of the books and that if their name is not found in The Book of Life they are cast into the Lake of Fire with the devil. There is no need to mention The Book of Life if there are no Believers in this resurrection and judgment. 20:10,14 “The adversary who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were; and they were tormented day and night forever and ever. Then Death and Sheol were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death – the lake of fire.” Rejecting JESUS CHRIST results in eternal (forever and ever) torment in the lake of fire!

 Paul wrote that at The Last Trumpet the dead in CHRIST will rise first and those alive who serve Him will be caught up and changed into their eternal body and join with CHRIST’s great host in The Heavens. As mentioned before there are many events happening on the day of the seventh trumpet. In Revelation 14:14-20 there is the reaping of earth’s harvest (the rapture) where CHRIST reaps the harvest of the earth, and an angel harvests the grapes of the earth and throws them into the winepress of His wrath. This is not the rapture because it is the harvest of the Saints and the non-saints. This does not match with Revelation 19:17-20:6 where at the seventh Trumpet there is the battle of Armageddon, the resurrection of those slain during the Great Tribulation and the beginning of CHRIST’s thousand year reign from Jerusalem. So is this event, The Last Trumpet in 1 Corinthians? It sounds more like the last great battle against satan and his human army at the end of CHRIST’s thousand year reign in Jerusalem; where there is the destruction of the heavens and earth by fire? Before He destroys the heavens and the earth which includes the seas, He will resurrect all who have died and were not part of the first resurrection in Revelation 20:4-6! Remember, Paul’s letters to the Corinthians and Thessalonians were written several years before John received JESUS’ revelation. 1 Corinthians 3:8-15, 15:1-28; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 25:31-46; Luke 19:1-27; Luke 21-This passage was fulfilled in 70 and 90 AD, in 1948, 1967, 1976 and it will be fulfilled at the end of the Great Tribulation (the battle of Armageddon) and at the end of CHRIST’s thousand year reign in Jerusalem.

Chapter 21:1-22:5 is about the New Heaven (there is no sun or moon), the New Earth (there are no seas), the New Jerusalem, the River of Life and the Tree of Life, The Father and The Son are the Light. Matthew 5:5,8,10, 13:43, 18:6-11, 24:12-13; Psalm 36:7-9, 37:9-11; 46; Daniel 7:13-14,18,26-27; 2 Peter 3:13; Isaiah 7:14, 8:8-10, 25:8-9, 35:8-10, 43:19, 51:10-11, 54:11-14, 62:11-12, 65:17-19, 66:22-24; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Leviticus 26:9-13; 1 Corinthians 6:8-11, 15:29-58; Zechariah 8:1-8; Ezekiel 37:27, 47:1-12; Ephesians 2:19-22; Genesis 2:8-10; Jeremiah 31:34; 2 Chronicles 6:18 .

Chapter 22:6-21 is a reminder to obey GOD, watch and be ready for CHRIST’s return by obeying GOD’s Word “For I testify to everyone who hears the Words of the Prophesy of This Book [Revelation]: If anyone adds to these things GOD will add to him the plagues that are written in This Book. If anyone takes away from the Words of This Book of Prophesy, GOD will take his name from the Book of Life*, from The Holy City and from the things that are written in This Book.” JESUS says, “Truly, I Am coming quickly.” Verses 14-16 JESUS says, “How blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the Gates into The City! Outside are the homosexuals, those involved with the occult and with drugs, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol worshippers and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, YESHUA, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the Messianic Communities.” Is this a reminder that during His thousand year reign only those who have given their life for The Gospel and those who have survived the Great Tribulation without the mark of the anti-christ will have access to Jerusalem and the Tree of Life. Or! Does it mean that in the new earth there will still be unbelievers? I do not see any reference to the Tree of Life being in Jerusalem during CHRIST’s thousand year reign, but that does not mean it won’t be there, but there will not be any unbelievers in the new earth. Hebrews 10:35-39; Daniel 12:12-13; Psalm 50:16-23; Proverbs 11:30, 13:13-14, 30:5-6; Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 12:32; Numbers 24:15-25; Daniel 12:4.

 

*So a person’s name can be removed from The Book of Life, if a person’s name is removed from The Book of Life then they will be cast into the lake of fire and not enter into GOD’s Eternal Kingdom!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Addendum 1

 

Timing of the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls 

There are seven seals, seven trumpets and seven bowls; twenty-one total judgments that all take place during the last three and a half years of the Great Tribulation. The first four seals are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse these judgments have been going on since the Great Flood. But they will be released with great fury to start the last three and a half years of the Great Tribulation

The fifth seal is not an actual judgment at the time of the other seals. It will be fulfilled on the Last Great Day of judgment when CHRIST establishes His thousand year reign in Jerusalem.

During the last three and a half years of the Great Tribulation there will be twelve judgments, seals 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, trumpets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

On the Last Great Day there will be eight judgments; the seventh trumpet (The Last Trumpet) and the seven bowl judgments.

 

Numbers

In 2018 there were 7.594 billion people in the earth, the projection for 2037 is 9 billion.

So if the world’s population in ten years (about the minimal amount of time before the last three and a half years of the Great Tribulation could end) is around 8.5 billion (8,500,000,000),  how many would be alive at CHRIST’s return to establish His millennial reign?

Addendum 2

In Revelation 7, the 144,000 Jewish men raised up to evangelize the world come from twelve tribes of Israel, but the tribe of Dan is missing from the list. Why?

The absence of Dan in the list of tribes in Revelation 7 is a source of much interest among Bible students. The text itself offers no explanation, but we can speculate based on some analysis.

First, it’s important to note that there are 13 named tribes in Israel, not twelve. Jacob bore twelve sons, but later Jacob adopted Joseph’s two sons in place of Joseph after moving to Egypt. Thereafter, the sons of Jacob were: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Ephraim, Manasseh  and Benjamin.

Secondly, there are at least 19 lists of Jacob's sons given in the Old Testament: Gen. 35:22-26; 46:8-25; 49:3-27; Exod. 1:2-5; Num. 1:5-15; 2:3-31; 13:4-15; 26:4-51; 34:19-28; Deut. 27:12-13; 33:6-25; Josh. 13:7-22; Judg. 5:12-18; 1 Chron. 2:1-8:40; 12:24-37; 27:16-22; Ezek. 48:1-7, 23-28, 31-34

 

Reviewing these lists, we usually find all thirteen tribes included though sometimes a tribe is left out (usually Levi). For example, in Numbers 1, 2, 13, and 26, the tribe of Levi is left out. In other cases, Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim, and Manasseh are combined under just the name Joseph. In one case, multiple tribes are missing (i.e., Judge 5). So, we see that it's not unusual for scripture to leave names out when listing the tribes of Israel.

 

But then we have the list in Revelation 7. This list is unique in several ways. First, it is the only list of the tribes of Israel in scripture to exclude Dan. Secondly, it is the only list to include Joseph in place of only one of his sons instead of both sons. Specifically, Joseph and Manasseh appear in the Revelation 7 list but Ephraim does not. Perhaps the exclusions of Dan and Ephraim are related?

Thirdly, the territories originally allotted to the tribes of Ephraim and Dan bordered one another in Canaan, but during the time of Judges Dan rejected its claim and moved north to occupy a part of the territory of Naphtali.

Finally, even though the name Joseph is listed in Revelation 7, no territory or tribe of Joseph actually exists. Joseph didn’t receive a portion in the land. His two sons were adopted by Jacob and received Joseph’s double portion instead. This raises the question how can there be 12,000 men from "Joseph" during Tribulation when no such tribe of people exists?

Given these clues, we can offer speculation on why Dan and Ephraim are missing from the list.

In Judges 17-21 we're given two stories of apostasy in Israel. Both stories center on the tribes of Dan and Ephraim and on the city of Bethlehem, the birthplace of David, God's choice for king over Israel. The writer of Judges emphasizes in these chapters that these were the days before Israel had a king. 

In those chapters of Judges, Dan sinned by viewing the land God allotted to them as unacceptable, so they abandoned it. While passing through Ephraim, they stole idols from a home and recruited a Levite to serve in a false temple in the new territory. As a result, Dan became the first tribe in Israel to embrace idol worship in Israel.

Meanwhile, the tribe of Ephraim, the source of the idols, assumed control over the land originally intended for Dan. They aided and abetted the Danites in bringing idolatry into the land of Israel. These sins give just cause for God to exclude them from the privilege of preparing Israel and the world for the Messiah's return.

Furthermore, since the tribe of Manasseh is already included in the list of Revelation 7, then we know that the tribe of Joseph can't represent his two sons, as is usually the case in scripture. Instead, Joseph still represents two tribes, but in this case Joseph replaces Dan and Ephraim, tribes historically and geographically linked by their conspiracy to introduce rebellion and idolatry into Israel. So they were excluded from this list by name with the name Joseph standing in their place.

Such a substitution allowed the Lord to retain the symmetry of twelve tribes while drawing attention to these tribes' joint contribution to idolatry in Israel. Since there is no literal tribe of Joseph, in a sense, we could say that Dan and Ephraim were “hidden” in Joseph. If so, then the 12,000 men of the tribe of Joseph in the Tribulation will actually be Danites and Ephraimites.

But there is a deeper message in their exclusion. The apostasy of Dan and Ephraim represented the low point in Israel's history immediately prior to the Lord raising up a king from Bethlehem to deliver Israel from its sin. Sound familiar?

This is exactly the pattern that will exist prior to the Lord's return to rule over Israel at the end of Tribulation. By excluding these two tribes from the list in Revelation 7, the Lord is pointing our attention back to the circumstances at the end of Judges. The final chapters of Judges (17-21) and the story of Ruth which follows Judges form a three-part story of the king's arrival to address the nation's idolatry.

 

Parts 1 and 2 of the story are found in Judges 17-21 and chronicle the growing apostasy of Israel under the influence of the Danites and Ephraimites. Part 3 of the story is found in Ruth, where the Messiah's arrival in Bethlehem (pictured by the arrival of Naomi's son in Bethlehem) serves as the hope of Israel. These events picture the greater arrival of Christ to rescue Israel from apostasy.

 

Therefore, Dan and Ephraim are missing in the list of Revelation 7 to draw our attention to the time of Judges, to illustrate that Israel is once again guilty of apostasy as it was in Judges under Dan and Ephraim. And once again the Lord will bring Israel a king from Bethlehem to rescue Israel from its apostasy, that is Jesus Christ. By excluding these two tribes, the Lord is emphasizing that the third part of the story is right around the corner. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Addendum 3

 

The Jewish calendar is based on the lunar cycle of 29.5s day, so it is twelve months of 29.5 days or 354 days. Actually starting with the first month, Nisan of 30 days every other month is 29 days; or six months of 29 days and 6 months of 30 days for 354 days. The Jewish calendar now celebrates the New Year in Tishri the seventh month not Nisan the first month. Over the years the Jewish calendar has been adjusted to match the solar calendar; that includes adding two months every so often; so that through the centuries it’s year count may be off. The current Jewish year is 5782.

 

The Essenes were Jewish religious purest from about 200 BC through 100 AD, (John the Baptist was one) they believed that the Pharisee calendar was corrupted. Their calendar was based on GOD’s solar calendar, a 364 day year (Enoch 72:32b). They also count the history of the world based on Adam fathering Seth at 130 years old (Genesis 5:3). The first year of creation according to the Essenes would be our year 3926-3925BC making 5945 the current year. They believed that earth’s time was divided into three 2000 year eras and one 1000 year era relating to our years; 1BC – to the time of Abraham is the first era, from the time of Abraham to 75AD is the second era, 75AD – 2075 and the third era and then the final era of 1000 years is 2075 – 3075.*

 

I believe in the seven day theory, I have never seen or heard any teaching on it until I read about the Essenes, but in the Biblical cycles of days, months and years I believe that humanity’s time on the earth is 6 (six) thousand years (days) followed by CHRIST’s 1 (one) thousand years (day) reign over the earth from Jerusalem; after the example of the seven days of creation. So humanity has 53 to 218 more years depending on who’s calendar is correct. But that is not strict in the since that we do not know GOD’s timetable and His time table is based on the Scriptures that give us The Great Commission and markers and signs to watch for. Could we be in the last days with the anti-christ coming to power soon, I hope so.
