Back in 2015 I was introduced to a new worship song that had a stanza that said, “You have rewritten my history.” I don’t remember the rest of the song or even the name of it, but that phrase had a very positive effect on me. As Christians we talk about GOD removing our sins and forgetting them, but that is only part of it. When we were in our mother’s womb GOD wrote out the days of our life, then we lived as we were forced to or choose to until we heard about salvation through JESUS. We started the path on the straight and narrow (hopefully) and to obey GOD’s Will for our life. But it was not just our future that was changed, our past was also changed, when GOD forgets our sins the history of our life is not blank it is rewritten to what it should have been! Seek GOD First!
