Obedience to GOD is the second most important thing we do with our life. The first is to recognize that we are a sinner and justly deserve to go to hell and we can do nothing to save ourself except, ask GOD to forgive us for our sins because of JESUS’ Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension because we confess with our mouth that JESUS is LORD and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead.

Oswald Chambers said about Psalm 55:22, “We ought never to bear the burden of sin or of doubt, but there are burdens placed on us by GOD which He does not intend to lift off, He wants us to roll them back on Him.”

 

The fact is that Salvation comes with behavioral and attitude changes that we have to work through and it comes with responsibilities that we can only fulfill when we surrender to GOD. His provision is always there but we have to Obey His Call for our life. Seek GOD First!

Being a Child of GOD does not mean playing in the security of His Presence! We are Called His Children so that we can do the Works of Our Father Who is in Heaven. JESUS His only Begotten Son is seated at His right hand waiting for us to complete the task He gave us at His Ascension – Evangelize and Disciple the nations of the world into His Eternal Kingdom!

JESUS never promised us the good life here on earth. He promised us eternal life in His Heavenly Kingdom. Study Matthew 5:10-12, 6:19-24; John 14:1-4

My Dream About America

A year ago I had my first of two dreams about my nation. Prior to this, my dreams were primarily God revealing to me things about my own heart, with a few exceptions. But on the 7th or 8th in January 2020 I dreamed I was with a well-known man and we were conversing while at a community event. As we stood together, and looked out over the immediate landscape there were signs everywhere, the kind of signs that stick into the ground.

The signs were red, white, and blue with three words: "Yes, I will" & in the manner of dreams in which you can "know" things, I knew in my dream that this was God speaking, and He was speaking in regard to America. I sensed He was speaking a reminder that He would be faithful to fulfill His promises over this nation, that He was a covenant keeper (Psalm 89:34). That He would keep covenant with this nation because even through we have been unfaithful, He is faithful.

I would like to say my trust in Him alone has kept me in perfect peace and rest over this past (crazy) year, but this dream, which I have held in my heart for a year now, has added depth to my trust in Him. I don't know how things will transpire, but I continue to trust He has good plans for America and that He hasn't forgotten or forsaken her - or any of the nations of this earth. I continue to stand firm in this: The Kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of our Lord Jesus.....

(original conclusion deleted, for another time...) But I see the manifestation of the glory of the Lord coming!

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered in My Name, I Am in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:18-20

This sounds like a great experiment, where JESUS trusts us to agree witn one another for His Will not our will. Read this in context to verses 15-20.

Obedience: “For the Grace of GOD has been revealed, bringing Salvation to ALL People. And we are Instructed to Turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should Live in this evil world with Wisdom, Righteousness and Devotion to GOD.” Titus 2:11-12

 

JESUS proclaimed and demonstrated His Obedience to The Father and He Called us to the same Obedience. As the Son of Man He asked if the cup of crucifixion could pass from Him, but knowing that it was His Calling from GOD He was obedient to the death of the cross. He told us that if we are to Serve GOD then we have to take up our cross daily or we have to Obey The Call of GOD on our Life no matter the cost.

 

There are three Calls on every Follower of JESUS; to preach The Gospel (evangelize) to the lost; Live in the Righteousness and Victory that we receive from CHRIST’s death, resurrection and ascension and to Yield our Life to GOD’s specific Call or Purpose for us – in His Timing. This is what Paul was talking about to the Philippians (2:11-12), “…work out your own Salvation with fear and trembling…”, it’s not getting Saved it’s Living Saved.
