GOD did not promise to protect us from attack or trouble. He promised to give us eternal Life after we endured attacks and troubles.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of The LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says The LORD. Isaiah 54:17
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man; but GOD is Faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape so that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
“Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have hear of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by The LORD–that the LORD is very Compassionate and Merciful.” James 5:11
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved he will receive the crown of Life which The LORD has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12
