Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.” Psalm 139:13-18 “For the life of the creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your lives – for it is the blood that makes atonement because of the life.” Leviticus 17:11 “Six things The LORD hates, yes, seven are abominations to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet that run to evil, a false witness that spouts lies, and one who stirs up strife among brothers.” Proverbs 6:16-19 Abortion should not be a political issue, it is a moral issue and GOD has set the standard for all morality whether we like it or not. In the beginning there was only one “Do not do!” but Adam and Eve chose to do the one do not do and here we are today. Sin and corruption entered into the heart of humanity and we have been rebellious ever since. It is way past time for The Church to be the standard of Truth and Mercy of morality and righteousness. GOD has given His People the Wisdom to rule our own lives if we exercise the boldness to obey His Commands. Not everyone will agree and not everyone will obey; it’s been that way since Adam decided to eat the forbidden fruit. GOD will be the judge of us all! As GOD told the Children of Israel in the wilderness, “Today I give you a choice – choose disobedience (death) or choose obedience (life).” [my paraphrase] We still have that choice, GOD will not make us obey, He Loves us so much that He wants us to choose to obey.
