Study on The Signs of CHRIST’s Return

 

There are many today who are talking about the Return of CHRIST (also called The Second Coming), most of them focus on the prophetic Word of The Bible and compare it to the political time in which we live. This was also true in the first century Church, they believed that JESUS’ Second Coming was going to happen in their day.

 

The main point of JESUS teachings on His Return was that we would be ready, many of His parables and teachings had to do with being faithful servants who were watching and ready for their masters return. The point is that no matter when he returns Christians should be about The Work of GOD’s Kingdom in the earth.

 

We should always be sharing our testimony and the Word of GOD with people that do not know JESUS,that is the Good News (The Gospel) of GOD’s Kingdom (Heaven).

 

The most important thing is to know that we are doing what GOD called us to do. In Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘LORD, LORD!’ will enter into The Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does The Will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘LORD, LORD, didn’t we prophesy in Your Name, and drive out demons in Your Name, and perform many miracles in Your Name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’” In fact the whole chapter of Matthew 7 is about obeying GOD.

 

There is also the story of the ten virgins who were waiting for the Bridegroom (JESUS) and they fell asleep. When the Bridegroom came only five were ready so they went into the Wedding Feast (Heaven) and the other five went to get ready. When the five returned they were not allowed into the Wedding Feast – it was too late! Matthew 25:1-13.

 

We must seek GOD first as JESUS tells us in Matthew 6:25-34, As we study The Bible and follow The HOLY SPIRIT we will know GOD’s Will for our life.

First there is the general Will of GOD that we stop sinning and start living a life dedicated to GOD.

Second there is JESUS’ command to all Christians to tell other people about Him and His Salvation and GOD’s Kingdom (Heaven).

Then there is GOD’s purpose for our life, what He has called me to do – always that will be as a servant to others so that they can see GOD’s Love and Salvation.
