Salvation

 

John 3:1-21 JESUS and Nicodemus:

:1-2 Nicodemus recognizes JESUS as sent by GOD.

:3 JESUS tells him he must be Born Again to see GOD’s Kingdom.

:4 Nicodemus asks how?

:5-8 JESUS answers he has to be born of water and SPIRIT to enter into GOD’s Kingdom. What is of the flesh is flesh and what is of The SPIRIT is spirit. As the wind blows wishes so is the one born of The SPIRIT.

:9 Nicodemus again asks, how?

:10 JESUS asks Nicodemus why he does not know this.

:11-12 JESUS tells Nicodemus that He speaks what He has seen and yet He is not believed; if Nicodemus cannot believe earthly truth how can he believe Heavenly Truth.

:13 JESUS affirms His Divine nature as The Son of Man (One born of woman but not by man, Luke 1:26-35)

:14-15 JESUS must be lifted up as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so that whoever believes in JESUS will not perish but have Eternal Life (Numbers 21:4-9).

:16-17 For GOD so Loved the world…

:18-20 Not condemned and condemned, light (JESUS is The Light, John 1:1-5) and dark.

:21 Light is Truth and is done by the servants of GOD.

 

John 14:1-11 JESUS Is:

:1-4 JESUS reassures His disciples that they who believe on GOD should also believe in Him, He is going to prepare a place for them in His Father’s Kingdom, and He will come a second time to receive them so they will be with Him, and they know the way.

:5 Thomas says they do not know the way and asks JESUS to show them the way.

:6-7 JESUS says, “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to The Father except through Me.” If they had known JESUS they would have know The Father and that from then on they would know and see the Father.

:8 Phillip asks JESUS to show them The Father.

:9-11 JESUS chastens Phillip that he should know JESUS therefore he should know The Father. That JESUS and The Father are One and the Words that JESUS speaks are by the authority of The Father Who lives and works in JESUS. “Believe Me that I am in The Father and The Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.”

 

Romans 10:8-15 “But what does it say, ‘The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart’ (that is the Word of Faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the LORD JESUS and believe in your heart that GOD has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For The Scripture says, ‘Who ever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek (Gentile), for The Same LORD over all is Rich to all who call upon Him. For ‘whoever calls on The Name of The LORD shall be saved.’”

 

Hebrews 13

:5-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness (greed); be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you not forsake you.’” (Deuteronomy 31:6-8) So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’” (Luke 12:4-7)

:20-22 “Now may The GOD of Peace Who brought up our LORD JESUS from the dead, that Great Shepherd of the sheep (John 10:11), through The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His Will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through JESUS CHRIST, to Whom be Glory forever and ever. Amen. And I appeal to you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.”
